14 minutes of waiting for a half full box of fries

I don't know how this place is still in business. Every time I come here they're out of everything. Almost every car that comes the drive-through gets pulled into an empty parking space out front to wait for their food which is usually a significant wait. I understand being understaffed, but this is no longer fast food. According to the time stamp on our receip, we waited for 15 minutes for 2 famous bowls, 4 piece tenders and some fries.

I went to the KFC at 4940 Southwestern... I went to the KFC at 4940 Southwestern Blvd in Hamburg NY. I placed my order online for an 8 pc Chicken Extra Crispy. When I looked at the order it was Original Recipe. I went back into the store and said there was a problem with my order. The sales person said there was nothing they could do. When I said I didn't want my order, they picked up the bag, threw it in the garbage in front of me and told me to take my complaint onto KFC online. Never again! TERRIBLE SERVICE!!!! Date of experience: April 30, 2023

Chicken sandwich and mashed potatoes
Denise L.

Been wanting to try the crispy chicken sandwich after I saw a poll of the best chicken sandwiches. I believe KFC came in 4th. Upon entry the restaurant was clean and inviting. Was approached immediately. We were the only ones in there at the time. It only took a few minutes for our order. The sandwich was crispy, totally a regular breast, not pressed and formed. Almost too much chicken for me, but it was really good. The spicy was spicy enough without being overbearing. I loved the brioche bun. My son got the regular. We both really enjoyed our food. I ordered the mashed potatoes as a side and we shared, although KFC has always been skimpy on their serving sizes of sides. The staff was extremely friendly making it an enjoyable experience even if it was fast food. At 3.99 this was a great sandwich comparable to Chick-fil-A.

KFC was my favorite back in Indonesia. A bit luxury too. If my mom ordered it we were like so excited. Oh memory... come here 17 years ago, kind of disappointed that they kind of taste different but I still like it. Fast forward to recent years. Time to time I'll go out of loyalty until I found Popeyes. I feel Popeyes is better and closed to yummy fried chicken I remember which ironic because they are not KFC! The other thing the closest KFC is near South Gate plaza so inconvenient. When they open in front of Lowe's in Hamburg near my house, I'm super excited. We went to drive through and I actually enjoyed it. But then the latest visit it was at 8:30 at night the lobby closed at 9. When we said we want to eat there, she said we can only sit on high table! What? Seriously. We have 1/2 hrs. Whatever. Then came the food so unappetizing look. Probably old one. The leg look over cooked. Biscuit look pathetic. The thigh-is better than the leg. The mashed potatoes edible, gravy is the saving grace. Long story short I might just be done with KFC. I might just stay with Popeyes now. So long KFC it's been nice to know you. But it's been long overdue, it's time for us to go our separate way. I found something better. Good luck on your future endeavor. I won't be back. Take this 2 stars as thank you for fond memory of my childhood.

My wife had never tried Dave's before so we were running errands and decided to stop in. We ordered it for pick up because of the snow storm and the amount of snow in the parking lot was our sign to take it home. We walked in and this location is huge. It is a really nice location inside and I like how they have a tv screen that tracks your order for you so you know when it's ready. So cool. Our order was being packed up as I walked in so perfect timing. The food itself was great! I ended up going with one medium and one hot. There is definitely a jump up in spiciness between the two levels and they are very flavorful with the spice, not just a blind heat. These sliders are HUGE. They really fill you up and the fries are perfect. Love the seasoning and the crinkle cut. We will definitely be back for more and this is a great place when you're looking for that hot chicken fix.

The chicken itself is outstanding, and the French fries are also really good. I found the service a bit lacking, thus only three stars. It was not crowded. I walked in and there was one group eating and one person waiting for food. The person who took my order was friendly and helpful. However, I placed my order, paid and was given my receipt and a "buzzer" and I waited. The thing that irked me is that I saw my order come from the kitchen, handed from a cook to an employee on the other side of the window, who kept talking and talking and talking to the cook while my food was sitting there. All she needed to do was put the order into the plastic bag, but for about five minutes talked to the cook and kept her back to the customer area, as did the other employees. I saw other employees walking around, there were more staff than customers, but I don't know what they were accomplishing. But my order still waited as they all talked. She eventually very, very slowly added the box with my food to the plastic bag and finally I received my order. Why did it take so long to put my order into a plastic bag and give it to me? The "sliders" are actually a full size sandwich, don't let the name fool you. It was delicious, if slightly cool from sitting at the counter. However, I don't like to patronize a business that has no real management on premises making sure that the staff is engaged. This never happens at Chick Fil-A. I will give them another chance because the food was so good.

A new location and a new look. Off The Wall Sandwich is a sparkling clean and colorful restaurant…read more With vibrant wall art, and striking lighting, the interior has an energetic vibe. This is a busy spot for classic American favorites: burgers, sandwiches and wings. From my previous experience, I knew it's worth checking the menu beforehand. For someone who is trying to make healthier choices, but not salad, this might be a good idea. I remember the last time I had the Classic Grilled Cheese Melt. This time, to avoid beef, bacon, or fried chicken, I decided to substitute a burger with grilled chicken breast for an additional $1. The Frenchie was my choice. I asked for the included Bison dip on the side and added Grilled Cremini Mushrooms for another $1. I simply couldn't find any ready-made combinations that suited my taste. All the burgers, melts and sandwiches come with your choice of fries or tater tots. We waited longer than expected for our food. The restaurant started filling up after we arrived. There were a lot of takeout orders while the dinner rush was starting. They should have a parallel system in the kitchen to keep the dining room moving at its own pace. Anyway, my sandwich was good. The chicken was perfectly grilled. The mushrooms and onions were flavorful, and the provolone cheese was melted and delicious. It's good that I asked to have the Bison dip on the side. We enjoyed the mountain of fries and onion rings (we really liked the breading on the onion rings). The Mac and Cheese was basic, but classic and very tasty. Unfortunately, our feedback on the Steak Hoagie was not so good. It wasn't as expected - a juicy, Buffalo-style, meat and cheese sub. My partner said that too much spice rub made the sandwich salty and dry. It wasn't the experience of dripping, shaved steak covered with lots of melted cheese, grilled peppers and onions. There was none of it. It was dry, smallish and disappointing. Our server Kimora took good care of us. She was smiling, and made our stay very pleasant.

The food wasn't mind-blowing, but it was solid. I had the Nashville hot chicken sandwich, it was good, even if it's not the top contender for the best. The tater tots were a highlight, and I loved the habanero dipping sauce the server picked out for me. Would I go out of my way for it? Probably not. If I'm nearby, I'd absolutely stop in again to try something else on the menu, which has some great looking options.

The salsa came in what looked like a salad dressing cruet & there were individual bowls for everyone to use. For lunch I ordered the Enchiladas Supremas that was one chicken and one cheese enchilada with rice and sour cream salad. My friends ordered lunch #1 a beef burrito with rice and beans, lunch #3 an enchilada, rice & beans and the lunch chicken taco salad. Everyone enjoyed their food and were happy they ordered the lunch portion. The place is decorated very colorfully with plenty of comfortable seating if the restaurant is on a wait. There is seating in the hallway as well as by the entrance. We had very quick service and since we couldn't decide what we wanted our server gave us more time to decide. The food came out quickly, piping hot. Will definitely be returning.

When we pulled into the parking lot, it was clear. We weren't the only ones that had heard about the sale. The line for the drive through window was out into the road and blocking traffic on a side street, so we opted to go in. The line inside was bursting the doors at the seams, but we squeezed in. It was around a half hour's wait before we got to the counter and ordered our two Blizzards. Small size, one chocolate brownie and one mint Oreo. I was not expecting such a small cup of ice cream to be $5, but good thing for the sale. The brownie Blizzard was delicious from what little I was given to taste. The Mint Oreo was very poorly mixed, although I tried not to judge given the length of the line and hectic pace of the workers. All the mint flavoring and green food color was left at the bottom of the cup (You can probably see how it's missing color in the photo). The result was a sugary vanilla-like flavor for most of the treat with a slight rush of mint at the end. I'm glad for the experience, I'll say that.
