This location is the closest to my house and dangerously convenient for me so I have gone to it more than I typically would. I usually only get the KFC bowl which is consistent and delicious. They have messed up my order before forgetting sides when ordering fried chicken which is frustrating because I've had to go back to get the right order. Sometimes we have no issues and sometimes the chicken is cold when we pick it up so it's really hit or miss. It's standard fast food modern decorating inside - nothing fancy. read more

I walked in about 15 minutes after opening. Placed my order and sat down and couldn't help but listen to the 2 staffers talking loudly about understaffing, bad management. I guess a regular came in and they regaled him with their tales of unfair treatment and unhappiness. I'm not a fragile flower so it was more interesting than surprising. What was surprising was how long I waited for a simple order as I believe I was the 2nd customer in. How long it took to get my order. As they obviously weren't ready to be open. Then sadly how bad the "freshly" made food was. The chicken wasn't really hot. More like lukewarm. Worse it was ridiculously greasy and the seasonings didn't taste like the flavor I've eaten for over 6 decades. My only guess is it was either reheated or cooked earlier and not held properly. The biscuit was tiny and equally didn't appear fresh. As in baked that day. Lastly the coleslaw, COLESLAW! Wilted and watery was the best thing about it. I've had slow service at this KFC before. I've been disappointed because they were out of this or that. But always just dealt with it. I'm pragmatic and grudgingly accepting that the restaurant industry as a whole is on a universal downward trajectory of late. But this is that proverbial last straw for me. Hamburg KFC you win. So.wtes I do know why I give them another chance. I like the chicken but it seems like every time they screw up the order. This time I got the box of tenders with two side. Double fries. I open it when I get home and there is only one box of fries. It took about 25 minutes from the point of ordering. So I organized and not even so much of a sorry for the wait. Almost every car that comes the drive-through gets pulled into an empty parking space out front to wait for their food which is usually a significant wait. Been wanting to try the crispy chicken sandwich after I saw a poll of the best chicken sandwiches. I believe KFC came in 4th. Upon entry the restaurant was clean and inviting. Was approached immediately. We were the only ones in there at the time. It only took a few minutes for our order. The sandwich was crispy, totally a regular breast, not pressed and formed. Almost too much chicken for me, but it was really good. The spicy was spicy enough without being overbearing. I loved the brioche bun. My son got the regular. We both really enjoyed our food. I ordered the mashed potatoes as a side and we shared, although KFC has always been skimpy on their serving sizes of sides. The staff was extremely friendly making it an enjoyable experience even if it was fast food. At 3.99 this was a great sandwich comparable to Chick-fil-A. read more

KFC was my favorite back in Indonesia. A bit luxury too. If my mom ordered it we were like so excited. Oh memory... come here 17 years ago, kind of disappointed that they kind of taste different but I still like it. Fast forward to recent years. Time to time I'll go out of loyalty until I found Popeyes. I feel Popeyes is better and closed to yummy fried chicken I remember which ironic because they are not KFC! The other thing the closest KFC is near South Gate plaza so inconvenient. When they open in front of Lowe's in Hamburg near my house, I'm super excited. We went to drive through and I actually enjoyed it. But then the latest visit it was at 8:30 at night the lobby closed at 9. When we said we want to eat there, she said we can only sit on high table! What? Seriously. We have 1/2 hrs. Whatever. Then came the food so unappetizing look. Probably old one. The leg look over cooked. Biscuit look pathetic. The thigh-is better than the leg. The mashed potatoes edible, gravy is the saving grace. Long story short I might just be done with KFC. I might just stay with Popeyes now. So long KFC it's been nice to know you. This location is so unimpressive! I went around dinner time and they were already out of mashed potatoes, I wanted extra crispy chicken and they said they were all out, and the chicken came out soggy and slimy!! It sucks when the Mac and cheese is the highlight of my KFC order. Not to mention the workers were very rude and even got the sides wrong the first time.
