Had a craving for chicken strips and KFC came to mind on where my craving could be fulfilled. I ordered the 3 piece chicken tenders with potato wedges as side. It also comes with a biscuit and soda. A little over $11. The chicken itself was good, no processed meat here. But, the breading was meh. Same with the potato wedges. Biscuits aren't my thing. So, not fair to give my opinion other than it was buttery. I went through the drive thru and felt rushed after seeing a sign about them being on a 60 second timer...what? I don't know. Last week I went through drive through and ordered the box, original white. I got home and it was all dark and very greasy. I fed to my dog and called and talked to Deanna and she told me to bring back receipt and she would replace it. Well, I went back and they gave me the white chicken only, with no sides, but ok. When I got home and opened it, it was so dried out and barely warm like it had set there for hours. It was so dried out I pitched it and must say I'm extremely disappointed. I've eaten at this KFC many times and never had an issue. So, I won't be going back for a third try, as much as I Love KFC. I hope they get their issues resolved. Joyce read more

I'd give a 2.5 instead of a 2, but I didn't round up because the chicken was poor. Not the birds themselves, but how they were cooked. The crew really messed up. I'm 61 and have eaten KFC for decades. I love the original recipe and so can accurately report what went wrong here. The fry oil was overdue for changing, the chicken was then left in too long, and then spent too much time under the lamp. The sides, though, were great, meeting KFC standards. So this means the manager just needs to address some failures in the kitchen. I don't know if it's due to understaffing, poor training, or laziness, but the staff needs to stay on top of the chicken. My daughter ordered kfc for pickup from kfc web page. From the kfc on 641 Gravois Road, Fenton, MO 63026. Order # 577494618 around 12pm (noontime). We arrived and went inside the store. When we got there we were waiting for the pickup order. A tall white man with beard was screaming and cursing so very loud the entire store could hear him. He was mad about having to fill pickup orders and delivery orders. Saying I don't know why we f-ing offer this, we need to cancel and stop this, shut the app off. He continued with multiple curse words the only people that uses this is f-ing lazy people and it should only be for the elderly or handicap people. If you are too f-ing lazy to come into the store and order and get your good you don't deserve fast food. All these f- ingredients lazy people using this. This behavior is totally unacceptable! If he doesn't like doing the job he was hired for he should not have the job. He is an absolute worst employee any restaurant could hire. He should be fired immediately! I always get the Famous Bowl. Truly, I think it might be the best thing on the menu. My husband is a convert to it as well, especially these days with inflation what it is. My son is dedicated to the chicken legs, however, so that will always be in our order. I recommend you try it. I was wary at first, I mean mashed potatoes, corn, popcorn chicken and gravy seems weird, but it really is delish and brings together, at a reasonable price (esp. on Monday), all the items you really want! read more

Went through the drive thru and got an 8 piece along with the sandwich combos. I got to the window and asked to replace something with mashed potatoes and had no issue. They wet even nice enough to give my dog a couple pieces of chicken without me even needing to ask. read more

We went there on March 19 around 4:35 pm. I ordered pot pies, they had none & said it would be a 20 minute wait which I agreed to. I also ordered a chicken sandwich & they said they had no chicken patty's thawed out & would have to substitute 2 chicken strips. Again I agreed to that. I parked & waited. That 20 minutes was actually 34 minutes. The woman came out & said "here's your order" in kind of a rude tone. No apologies or anything. Most places would at least apologize for the wait & offer a dessert or a drink for the long wait but not here. I was treated as if I was bothering them. I emailed corporate. They replied asking for my phone # so they could contact me which I sent & have never heard back from them since. Now I see they are closed for remodeling. That's ridiculous. They've had their inside closed for over 2 years now. Doesn't matter because I will never go back to that dump again. Bad enough this location sucks but their corporate is just as sucky. I ordered a 3-piece extra crispy meal (dark meat) that came with two sides (mashed potatoes and coleslaw) & a medium drink. In addition, I also ordered an extra side of mashed potatoes with gravy, and 6 chicken tenders. When I got home and pulled out the sides, I had the 2 servings of mashed potatoes, but no coleslaw. I originally tried going through the Manchester/Ballwin locations drive thru tonight to get my dad a KFC bowl for dinner. My parents have been to the Manchester/Ballwin location on numerous occasions and have asked for that particular item with mac n cheese in place of the corn (they're simply not fans of the corn in the bowl) and have had no issue. I went there tonight and asked for the bowl how my dad liked it- the woman taking the order told me they cannot do that. That there's too much of a price difference but could put it in a side order bowl and replace the corn with green beans instead. I explained to her my parents have had no issue getting it done at that location and others before- she said she'd ask a manager and told me to hold on. I sat in my car and watched through the window as she STOOD THERE and DID NOT talk to anyone then she had the audacity to tell me her manager said it isn't possible. I laughed and told her forget my order, I'll just go to a better location. I drove to the Fenton location and went inside where a wonderful young lady named Angel was at the register. I told her my order and asked if the change from corn to mac n cheese was possible even if there is an upcharge (would have gladly paid the difference). She told me there was no issue making the change after I explained what I'd just gone through at the other location. She said she was amazed by my experience at the Manchester/Ballwin location and said "maybe they were just having a bad day". She handed me my change and told me she'd be right back- she went and made the two KFC bowls herself! (No one else was behind me in line at the time.) This past Friday night my husband was there for To Go orders. There was a wait so he was offered something to drink. We had ordered the grilled chicken and it didn't turn out right. Rather than send out pour quality we were asked to wait a little longer. For our inconvenience we were given a free cake. We had a wonderful dinner and wonderful service. My 10-year old chose KFC (Fenton) for her birthday party dinner. Every kid loves fried chicken! Unfortunately this restaurant was a mess. I would never use them for a party. I stopped in early afternoon and sort of preordered. They have no real way to preorder for a party, which is issue #1. So they wrote it down and told me to call about an hour before I would pick up, which I did. When we arrived to pickup they apologized that they lost the slip they wrote down (even after I called to review). So they couldn't recall the sides I ordered and missed a large side that we paid for (not worth my time to call again). They wanted an hour advance notice, but no system to take it. Ridiculous in today's environment. Next time we will head to Porters for our chicken needs. Should have done it to begin with! Think twice before heading here for a party. Fine service and cleanliness but in KFC's efforts to keep prices down the food is not worth buying. I got the grilled chicken. Without the breading you can see the chicken most have been a week old before they butchered it. The legs are the size of wings and the wings aren't worth the effort. Recommend paying more and getting real value. read more
