Waited longer than desired. Drive thru service was friendly and kind. Food was made to order and delicious. The wait was worth it.

They always say they are closed, we've been there at 8:30pm, 9:30pm-midnight. If the employees are lazy enough the just decide to close. We love White Castle burgers normally. We drove 60 miles to shop and pick up a crave case to enjoy some at home as well. Got to the speaker to order. The woman who answered acted like she could not hear us, my husband repeated the order and I heard her audibly huff into the speaker when we ordered the crave case. A man then came to take over with our order. We waited quite a while. We were thinking, "ok, they are just making fresh ones". Got our order, headed home to eat them. I ate 3 in the car, my husband at 4. We noticed they were a little soggy on the bottom bun and just figured it was grease or steam from the crave case. They also smelled off in some way. My husband and I both were sick last night. I love White Castle and have never had a reaction like that. We will never visit this location again! read more

You can't leave without getting white castle. The burgers are really good. My favorite is the jalapeño burger which contains pepper jack. It was so good and not to spicy. The regular cheeseburger is great as well. read more

First time to ever to the famous White Castle. It was good. Was it the stuff dreams are made of? No. It was good though. The sweet tea was good too. I went with Tony "Antenna" and Jason "the Marine". So as I was driving through at lunchtime, I made a pit stop here to pick up a handful of sliders to enjoy on the road. Yep, they taste just like I remember. This crew seemed well organized and had everything under control. The bathrooms were surprisingly clean for a weekday mid-afternoon. Two complaints. The parking lot here is a bit of a maze. And while my fries had an appropriate amount of salty goodness, they weren't hot. I can't explain the one at the bottom of the box that was beyond crispy - it was incinerated. read more

I love a good cup of coffee and believe it or not, White Castle serves up a good cup of java. Ever since I bought my Keurig coffee machine, I have commented that I wish WC would sell their blend in K-Cups. My wish has come true and it seems everyone else had the same wish. It took me three visits to different White Castle restaurants before I found one who wasn't sold out. The Kirkwood location has a huge glass display case of all the retail items White Castle offers and I was so excited to see a box of K-Cups being featured. When I requested a box for my very own, the cashier responded, "I hope we have some in back." I heart sank when she returned empty handed, but I quickly had a smile on my face when she walked around the counter and said, "Let me see if this is a full box or just a display." Sure enough, it was factory sealed and full of K-Cups and she sold it to me. The Kirkwood restaurant may now be missing their display of a hot new item, but they demonstrated good customer service. When I need another box, I will be sure to come back to this location. read more

I went through the drive thru. I repeated my order 3 times and they still got it wrong. Mind you my order was not complicated at all. Get my food and its wrong and 2 burgers completely missing. The manager comes to the window wanting to argue as if its my fault. I explain to the manager what my order was supposed to be.Then, they so called remake my order, i pull off and check my food. Still wrong! I go back through the line and have to wait all over again. Another manager comes to the window and i tell her what my order was supposed to be she remakes my order for a 3rd time. This time the order was still wrong, but i just decided to go. They never apologized for messing up my order or gave any coupons for a free drink or nothing. Horrible. The speaker system was too low could hardly hear person talking and I guess they could hardly hear me. Got my sandwiches but they didn't know I also ordered cheese fries. .I would travel for miles and pass all other White Castles, just to come to this one. They keep this one in Kirkwood,spotless. They Mop if the floor gets dirty. The food is always fresh,hot, and cooked right. They make a fresh pot of coffee every time I visit and order a cup. The employees are friendly, and the boss, a white woman with glasses, keeps everyone busy. I give this White Castle,10 Stars. Oh there's an old man named "Howie" who sits in there and sleeps,but is harmless and friendly. Employee named Coco, is very friendly. Kirkwood Police is always driving around nearby in Walmart parking lot. read more

Still my little favorite cheeseburger. We searched for a White Castle. We were short on time going to St. Louis due to a function. But when we left out at 8 a.m., we found our White Castle. We asked if we could have cheeseburgers (yes at 8 a.m.) and she said we could have anything on the menu. Our stomachs rumbled with delight! We were definitely not disappointed. I would give a negative 5 star review to this restaurant for their terrible service which ruined my son's dinner. They forgot his food and refused to answer the phone. The order we placed was not read back to back to us. It was wrong on the receipt and missing items in the bag. The cashier was not wearing a mask. I am unable to understand how something so simple can be so hard for people who are trained to take an order and simply hand it out of a window... I rarely dine at fast food places and I don't think I will ever return to this one. read more

This particular location is very uneven in it's quality. It's on the way for our college age son to campus and on the way home and we like the impossible burger quite a bit. But there are two extremes..either they are dead on with the quality and get the order right, or it's unfortunate like tonight when it's over salted and with items you asked them to leave off. Over $20 of white castle product and most of it not edible. My husband had a really long day and it was a big treat for him to make a special trip and get this food. It's not ok to take customers for granted like that. A customer shouldn't have to inspect each burger to make sure their workers have done their job right. Also, I didn't care for it that in the beginning of them carrying the Impossible Burger that they complained about what a big process and hardship it would be on the workers there. They talked up the easier to make veggie burger for obvious reasons. (gag). My son use to try to get a job there but they never called him for an interview. You know what? He would have gotten the orders right. His attitude would have been better too. Husband refuses to go back. Not sure what my son and I will do. But if we do, we aren't leaving the drive through window until everything is tasted and inspected. read more
