12 pc extra crispy recipe drumb & thigh

*** Absolutely disgusting, either using OLD OIL to fry the chicken or it's being REHEATED. My two autistic brothers had nausea and one got sick because of it 5 minutes later... Got a refund after haggling with the drive thru personnel being rushed because of the line. Very inappropriate go to Popeyes or Ezell's. You're welcome.

    Chicken sandwich
    Austin W.

I decided to do a chicken sandwich taste test for lunch today of all the local fast food restaurants. KFC was the last location I stopped at. While this KFC location is a little on the shabby side and was the least busy of all the places I went, the service was the best. The woman at the window was very friendly and was incredibly genuine in her conversation. Not like most of the other places I visited, where I had been treated as a number that they were trying to push through as fast as possible. The sandwich I ordered was about the same price as everywhere else. It was smaller around but much thicker than the other sandwiches. It was incredibly messy with sauce dripping out as I opened it, glad for the pile of napkins they included in my bag. Over all it was a fine sandwich, not the best nor the worst. I think the issue here is too much sauce. Everyone knows the taste and quality of KFC, why take away from that with a bunch of sauce. I don't normally go to KFC for lunch but I may try it again, simply because of the service.

Awful. Their original recipe chicken is soggy. I'm in search of a new place to get greasy chicken. I won't be back here.

They charge an extra $2.50 just for dipping sauce, which feels excessive. Even water isn't complimentary--you have to buy a bottled water for $3.50. On top of that, the restaurant itself is small with limited, uncomfortable seating. There's also no wait staff, so if you need anything, you have to get up and take care of it yourself. If you're heading there before an Everett Silvertips game with friends, you'll be lucky to find seating--it only has about 25 seats total. Overall, decent food, but between the high prices, limited space, and lack of basic service, it didn't feel like a great value.

The burger was decently. It wasn't anything I'd go out of my way for but it was solid choice. It was crispy and seasoned pretty well. The tater tots were exceptionally tasty. Fried to perfection without being greasy. And the seasoning was chef kiss. My chicken wings were slathered in garlic Parmesan sauce. And that sauce was actually tasty. But my wings were so rubbery and it lacking any crispy texture. It was like they were boiled, flash fried for color and then bathed in the sauce to finish cooking. I just wish the chicken was cooked better. It would have been a much better experience. The pretzel and cheese is a big no. Nothing tasty about the pretzel bites as at all and the cheese sauce was not great either. Service was great. They were really friendly.

I had laulau elsewhere recently, so I was interested in trying their version for comparison. Last laulau ordered here was in 2018! We took 99N all the way to Everett Mall Way to avoid the I-5 commute traffic (4/23/26). We were immediately seated and provided menus & ice water. Pretty much the same interior, no overhead music, and straightforward table service. There were three others dining onsite, but also later overheard phone orders taken followed with brisk takeout pickups. They also have the capacity for catering with product, prices, and serving pan sizes posted on the wall. The Homie ordered the loco moco with overeasy eggs, plus their standard cheeseburger. He was pretty happy with the outcome. Consistent to his previous experience, but also took note of the quality and reasonable cost for the cheeseburger. I opted for the laulau plate which came with the requisite two scoops steamed rice and one scoop mac (Hawaiian style macaroni salad) with a sizeable laulau. I unwrapped the outer ti leaves and cut into the taro leaves (steamed like spinach) to reveal succulent pork and tender butterfish inside. This was great with a little added shoyu. Spot on delicious! The ice water also hit the spot. Perfectly chilled without any aftertaste from a pitcher. None of that tepid water in a stoppered top glass bottle or carafe. Refreshing! Overall satisfying meal at a reasonable price.

I had to add a sauce of my own to eat it. The original hot had some flavor but overall very below average. The wings were overcooked and very chewy and hard. I did takeout and almost everyone at the place had come for takeout. Even being this lowly rated, it was incredibly busy and took 15mins more than the predicted pick up time. I would say it's about a 30 min wait to get your food, we ordered ahead online which was convenient. The dining area was really messy, since majority of the tables were littered with people's trash and leftovers. Understandably, they were prioritizing the kitchen because of the amount of pick up orders they were receiving. We each ordered 10-piece bone-in wings, a side of fries, and veggies. I picked out the hot honey rub, which was my favorite. The garlic parmesan was disappointing since the seasoning was lacking. The wings here are fried nicely, but the fries are oddly soggy. They were still good though, due to the seasoning. Also, the ranch here is so delicious! I don't know why, but I'm addicted to Wingstop ranch. Make sure to order extra if you love to dip. Overall, it's a great place to pick up some wings. Just be considerate of the wait time and cleanliness due to staffing.

(gotta climb in the Wayback Machine for that gem!) I loved that I saw at least six versions of my childhood dining room table, which felt so nostalgically comfortable that I wanted to crawl under one with my coloring books and my chocolate milk. But I digress -- you're supposed to be reading my review. I decided that I was in the mood for grilled cheese and tomato soup, so that's what I ordered. The tomato soup is really amazing -- so fresh tasting and delicious. But the sandwich was next level nom-ness. I opted to get it on sourdough because it's the best for dunking into the soup. It definitely worked on me - usually specials are relegated to a small corner of the menu, but here they are front and center. I couldn't resist and so I got the Pot Roast Dip. It's a sandwich that has a good amount of pot roast, some bacon jam that's glued together with provolone and Swiss cheese all on a Giuseppe roll (From Macrina Bakery? It's a crust roll). The bacon jam and sandwich dressing makes the sandwich really sweet, but the Angus sauce is very salty, and so when the sandwich is dipped it all balances out interestingly enough. It was good to try, but I think I'll order something else next time. I also got a Mocha latte- very smooth and delicious. I would get this again! Their bathrooms are shared with the rest of the building - the code is at the cashiers. The wifi password is right next to it too. You grab a menu, wait in line to order, and then they bring your food to you. Bus your own table when you're done. Solid spot.

The tacos were stuffed with seasoned taco meat, cheese, lettuce and tomatoes. Filling and tasty. Overall, Player's is a decent bar for the surrounding area. Due to the type of bar that this is, top-notch customer service shouldn't be expected. Have a seat and enjoy a cold brew while waiting on food orders. Witnessing the amount of people at lunch during the week, I can only assume this bar gets packed in the evenings and weekends. My wife and I both enjoy bars such as Player's and look forward to returning in the future.
