Ok I will admit it, I really avoided KFC for years because honestly, they used to be just gross. But I've been hearing good things about them recently so decided to give them another try. Well, super pleasantly surprised! We had a crispy chicken sandwich which was a nice thick piece of white meat chicken, real chicken, not weird fillers, good crispy outside, nice bun, good pickles. I think not totally as good as Chick Fil a, but really pretty good. The meal came with a soda and fries. I wasn't crazy about the fries, but only because they just weren't really my type. They were perfectly fine though. We also got fried chicken breast which was surprisingly good. Pretty decently meaty, delicious crispy crust, good quality, not weird or fatty. Very good. Biscuits were warm and tasty. We got some Cole slaw which was very good...not to much mayo, a touch of tangyness, a bit of onion, pretty tasty. Also got some hot honey bbq drumsticks. I wasn't crazy about the sauce. Very thick and way too sweet, a big gooey mess. But the drumsticks themselves were pretty impressive. Really big and super meaty. Next time I'll just get them extra crispy and I think they'll be great. We also got apple pie poppers. Those were the big losers of the meal. Just doughy, not good at all. But overall, KFC won me over. I would absolutely go back for some fried chicken breast or drumsticks and coleslaw and biscuits. read more

Finally got around to trying the KFC Chicken Sandwich. They have been promoting the thing a lot via email, it looks great... and its only $3.99, what a deal! I was hoping to recapture memories of KFC from when I was a kid. Ordered it from their app, so easy. Was ready very fast... super hot, a nice size, I wanted to love it. It's not that its bad... just that it isn't very good. The bun was nice, fresh and tasty. I liked the pickles, but the chicken didn't have the KFC taste I remember, it tasted a lot like the oil it was cooked in. The oil taste calmed down a bit as it cooled, but was really a disappointment. KFC has lost it's way... too many really good chicken places around to see me back here for any reason. Did like seeing the old photos on the wall of the Colonel, and loved the KFC Bucket lighting fixture... but the magic is gone. DISAPPOINTING read more

I started going here after being disappointed with food choices in the area. Every time I went here food is hot. But last Sunday 1/4. I ordered a 3 piece and received the most disappointing meat choices from them. They gave me the smallest piece of chicken that's fit for an infant. I backed my ass back to the drive thru and told them give me my money back. The lady who I assume was the manager went and got me some better pieces of chicken and asked if this is fine. It was definitely better than the 3 little numbs she gave before. read more

KFC where have you gone?? I did the drive thru one day this week. Ordered 3 wings original style. When I got to the window the cashier/order taker, said you have to buy 4. I said ok give me 4. Weird I thought. I got home and opened the box and saw what looked like the smallest wings I have ever seen. Ok, i assume trying to hold the retails down. Let's give them a try...this is not how original is supposed to be. Over cooked and too crispy. And those secret coating ingredients?? missing! I ended up eating 3 and tossed the last one, but honestly I wish I had just tossed them all. What a disappointment. I was really looking forward to some old fashioned KFC. There is hope in KFC! I never thought I would ever say this, but after 15+ years of hiatus from eating in KFC on the US soil, I finally had a good dining experience and impressed by the Colonel's traditional recipe! I probably shouldn't have, but I stopped by this KFC after about two hours or more of work out and for some reason I was craving for fried chicken. Maybe because it was in Delray Beach, one of their upper scale towns, but the interior of this restaurant is actually free clean and well-kept. There were some Valentine's Day decorations still there. The cashier lady was patiently answering many many questions from another customers in front of me with a smile! Let me repeat this: the inside of this KFC actually looks like a restaurant! Almost sparkling clean, unlike the last KFC I had visited many, many years ago. Because of my savory craving, I ordered six piece of the chicken wings and a spicy chicken sandwich. I wish I had dined in, because after a few minutes of driving, when I got home the chicken in the sandwich just tasted just a tiny bit less than perfect. Email opinion, he could have potential to beat the Chick-fil-A spicy chicken sandwich! I have to work out excellent next time, but I will definitely come back to this KFC location! read more

Chicken Tenders Combo Meal. DECENT. While the Chicken Tenders were satisfactory they were nothing special. Small and skimpy in size with no hint of KFC'S 11 herbs and spices. The tenders were breaded but had no flavor. The Secret Recipe Fries are very good. Biscuit provided also had no flavor with the Coleslaw being average. Sad to say but there are many other places that do Chicken Tenders better than KFC. read more

I know Yelpers will NOT be too excited about KFC, but I saw a commercial on television and had a craving so I decided to give it a try. I had two pieces of chicken - one original and one extra crispy and they both were very good. It came with a biscuit that also was pretty good. I am a Coke dude and this place only has Pepsi products but that was not a huge issue for me. The only complaint I have is the cheapo quality of the plastic forks and knives, but they are significantly better than the Sporks (combo spoon/fork) from years ago. The interesting observation I had was how impressed I was with the Manager Carlos. He was there up front behind the cash register and greeted me when I walked in, offered suggestions on the menu, thanked me several times for coming in, and appeared to be training other employees. I am not sure if Carlos is an owner or manager or trainer, but he was awesome and KFC better promote him or some other restaurant should snatch him up as his relationship with the employees and training style was impressive. While sitting down, an employee walked by to inquire how my meal was and offered to clean the table when I as done. All the employees appeared to be happy and as a customer I felt the vibe. To be honest, I was blown away by the great SERVICE I received at this fast food restaurant. I know that may be an oxymoron to discuss service at KFC, but the Manager Carlos (wish I knew his last name) really is rocking this fried chicken joint. read more

Driving home to Delray from seeing a show at The Hardrock, I was starving. The only thing open closest to me was KFC. I got there 30 minutes before closing so I expected maybe some things wouldn't be available. Much to my surprise, when I ordered, they gave me my total! Terrific food, everything was correct for my takeout. Everything was hot and enjoyable. So you ask why only three stars? The interior of the restaurant was a mess, garbage was swept under the garbage can. The area you get your drinks had spilt soda and was very sticky from someone who spilled something red, like a punch. STAY AWAY! I ordered hot wings from this KFC and got food poisoning. Everything else about this kfc location seems correct. The customer service is good, the place looks relatively clean. Almost instantly after eating chicken from this place i felt bad. I had to leave work and head home. After eating chicken from this KFC i was sick for two days and couldn't eat anything else without being sick. Thanks to this location I will never eat KFC anywhere ever again. You may get the Corona Virus aka Covid-19 eating at this KFC. My family and I recently visited this KFC. We decided to go through the drive through to avoid others and practice social distancing - safety. What I saw while in my car in the drive through was shocking. Employees NOT WEARING MASK OR GLOVES. You heard me correctly, on July 5th 2020, in the midst of the Corona Virus spike and dozens of people dying each day in Florida, the employees at this KFC decided to risk all our lives and theirs, by not practicing health and safety. Disgusting. I couldn't just drive away so I asked for the manager. The manager (a young African American woman) came out to speak with me. I asked her why were they NOT practicing health and safety and how appalled I was that they weren't wearing masks and gloves. Her response to me was "YOU'RE RIGHT." That's all she said. I recorded everything. I told her that I was recording and was extremely disappointed on how they were being so careless and unsafe with customers lives and again she agreed. I won't be eating at this KFC - NEVER IN THIS LIFE. I had to share because this is so wrong on so many levels. The manager woman gave zero care, she looked like she didn't even want to be working there. Be safe out here y'all and speak up when you see businesses and employees not doing right. I ordered 2 famous bowls one of them a Hot famous bowl. The outside of the hot famous bowl was so saturated in hot sauce that it penetrated the bag to the extent I could have sucked up hot sauce from my cloth seat. At first I thought the bowl must be open or have a crack in it. But nope one of your ignorant, pathetic employees felt the need to just throw it in the bag after they must have poured a ladle right on the outside or just dipped the whole bowl into the sauce. There was so much there's no way it went unnoticed. They couldn't have cared more. And that is just one of the many reasons fast food workers don't deserve more then the minimum wage they are already promised. If you can't succeed at a fast food restaurant like kfc how are you supposed to succeed at anything in life. Used to work in the service industry, & this was honestly just pathetic. Exceptional service by Manager Kimberlin! She literally went out of her way to make sure all of the customers got their orders in a timely fashion. I went during a lunch rush and the line was pretty long and I thought twice about waiting on the line due to my lunch only being 30 minutes but I waited anyway. I made a good choice because Kimberlin had us in and out. My chicken strips were cooking so for the wait she gave me an extra one! This is the only KFC that will get a good review from me. Attitude sucks. Ordered grilled breast and corn on the cob with a combo. Guy tells my boyfriend he asked for crispy (gave us original) and says grilled will be 15 minutes.
