I did it again... I TRIED to eat KFC in Clinton ia again. It's a cold winter day and we decided we would drive thru KFC to get some delicious chicken. We only had sweats on no intentions of going in anywhere. When we pull up to the window to order we get told in a very rude and short tone. "You need to come in to order we are too busy to answer drive thru". I had no intention of going inside anywhere. (The reason for going to a drive through is so you do not need to get out for any reason. ) needless to say once again no KFC for our family. I guess I should be happy they didnt ask me to leave the property again to recieve my food. This establishment is extremely poorly managed . Its unfortunate to see yet another business failing . So we went to order KFC yesterday. The hours on google say they close at 10:30. We get there way before 10 and the lady at the drive through was rude saying they close and didn't have certain things we wanted. So we order and she repeated the wrong thing back. We said screw it and drove right past the window and went to Wendy's instead. We will never order from KFC again. read more

This place is so disgusting. Your feet sticks to the floor, and the tables are just as sticky. No napkins out. The food leaves much to desire also. The worker has long hair and a long beard, neither one covered. read more

Serving raw chicken! Went through the drive thru, immediately pulled over and open my food. The outside looked fine but the inside was bloody and raw . I returned the food the lady as remorseful and a gem the so called manager was annoyed. I believe she was the cook as well. They did give me a new order but I threw it away without opening do not eat here. Serve has gone down since the former cook a male is no longer there. I'm a regular at kfc on Tuesdays and my regular workers were not working and the girl I had at the window I should have gotten her name I love kfc and I love the workers there but they recently fired one of their best workers there and my other worker that I love is leaving soon and today what just not it they forgot my drinks and I'll admit I drove away not realizing but I paid for my drinks they are normally the first thing given to me before I even give my card or cash over so from the get go it wasnt what I'm normally used to and when I tried calling them I called 6 times and not a single soul picked up I understand if you are busy Ive worked in fast food and if the phone rang at least three times it would be picked up but I called 6 times I was just going to ask about my drinks to see if I could get a little bit of compensation even if it's store credit but I've never left any reviews anywhere but I'm just a bit angry but when I was leaving the lady at the window handed me my change and slammed the window in my face so I drove off thinking everything was done I live a little under 30 mins away and anytime I'm in Clinton I always give my business to kfc I've even had moments that I waited 45 plus mins for my food and never had any issues because they always were super nice to me but this black haired girl was not the nicest and no one else in the store could even pick up the phone I'm always super nice when I come there because I know what fast food workers go thru on a day to day basis and I always give a tip when I'm there because they deserve it but before I could even get out have a good day this girl slammed the window I feel as if I was not appreciated there at kfc / long john silvers and I'm not trying to drag people way from there I just hoping that they get some better workers like they did before a couple of weeks ago I pray for everybody working there that they have a wonderful life but I'm upset about this whole situation today read more

Left again today without my full order. This is the third time. Always out of coleslaw. Asked if I wanted another side. I told them I would take Mac and cheese. They did not put it in the bag. I sat and watched a kid flip flopping the drinking cups all over the place. He must have touched all of them numerous times and no he was not wearing gloves. read more

NEEDS NEW MANAGEMENT!!!!! Went there 20 minutes before closing time. I was greeted by "hey the long John silvers side is closed" "also this kfc is out of biscuits because we close in 20 minutes" like, what? It's my fault I wanted biscuits? So I said "darn, okay I'll substitute for a different side I suppose." Then I got my order and it was all old and dried out! Also asked for Mac and cheese as my substitute and guess what I got. Cold mashed potatoes with no gravy. WTF??? Lady was rude and said they were closing and wouldn't wait for me to turn around and come back to get my order right. Fucking bullshit!!!!! A strong winter storm had my friend and I craving for some fast comfort food. Although the roads were covered with around 5" of snow, the parking lot was plowed and safe to dry on, as well as the walkways were salted and not slippery. As soon as we walked in, there was loud Christmas music playing, which can be somewhat annoying to customers. While we talked at the table, the music was still loud enough at some points we couldn't hear each other talk. There was around three people working, probably a shortage of customers because of the snow storm. The workers were nice and charming, they seemed pleasant to be working despite the weather or loud music. We both ordered a medium drink and a famous bowl for each of us. The lemonade on the drink machine wasn't working, and was just dispensing water. The food was good, and typical KFC comfort food. The chicken was juicy with a nice crunch to the breading. The potatoes were a bit soft, but I always prefer my mashed potatoes a little lumpy. The corn was great tasting although I wish there was a tad bit more in it. I gotta give the food 4.5 stars for being a KFC. It was very worth the money and halfway through I felt full, even two hours later I still feel like I have to lay down I ate so much! The cleanliness of the place was pretty poor, just like many KFCs around the area. A clean table was hard to find, and when we did find one, there was no salt and pepper shakers on our table, so we took some from the table next to us. The workers had table cleaning rags left out and garbage bags half taken out of the container. We can understand why it was like that though, the workers were always occupied with a customer, and there never was anyone available to clean. The floors had receipts and dirty napkins all over it, and the floor mats were rolled away so the floors would get wet with people's shoes. The bathroom was just as unclean, with the stalls having some toilet paper and paper towels on the ground. The toilet paper holster was very confusing, and wasn't stocked properly, so I had to fiddle with it for a couple minutes. The place has a very nice atmosphere. It wasn't built too long ago with the joint of Long John Silvers. It was the typical modern fast food restaurant feel, and that made the rating of this restaurant pretty good. I'd have to say the reason the rating is mostly bad on this review is because the cleanliness the workers left the restaurant. Although short staffed, I felt it was unnecessary to leave around garbage bins and rags around. The Christmas music was pretty loud and annoying too. read more

Came into the store at 7:45 and there were a few people there eating, we ordered got our drinks and sat down, it took about 8-10 minutes to get our food(that's pretty normal) but once our food arrived is when it all hit the fan, the firs meal was meant to be fish and shrimp but only had fish, the second meal was meant to be the " fish and more" and that had fish and chicken, and they forgot the entire third meal. All the food eventually got situated and it all tasted fine but the costumer service was compliant trash. One employee had an un lit cigarette hanging out of her mouth walking around the kitchen, one employee grabbed shrimp from the back without a glove and tossed them in the fryer and then proceeded to do the same with the hush-puppies, the only good employee was the one that gave me extra ketchup. Everyone I go there it seems like they are almost always out of something. For fast food the wait time is terrible, and whenever you finally get your food, it's almost always greasy. I won't be eating there for a very long time. read more
