This business has rude managers and employees. I would have gave this KFC a 0 if allowed but I was forced to give a 1. Upon arrival my mom and I asked to use a coupon that she received and immediately was told that the amount is $1 more in the system... This didn't make sense because no matter what's in the system the manager has authority to override prices. Then the manager and employee continues to say the same thing about the coupon as if she didn't see the coupon amount in my mom's hand. Not only did this manager and employee refuse to take the coupon they also immediately told us the restrooms were for customers as if we wasn't a customer. I don't care how much I crave KFC I would never order food from here.

This is KFC, not fine dining. So now that we have that out of the way, I will say this location has improved. I like the new decor, kind of slick. The dining area was clean and well lit. It's smaller in size, so I am assuming that the store next door must have pushed their wall over to get more square footage. But it works and looks nice. I never had a problem with service at this one and they were always good about giving me fresh, hot stuff when I asked. KFC isn't great chicken, but when I get a craving for that cole slaw and those biscuits, I go there. Also The Heiress Apparent wanted those Smoky Mountain BBQ tenders, so this is where were went for dinner. Didn't try those because I don't trust too much of what she eats because she likes very hot stuff. They looked ok, not sure I would order them as they looked sticky and sweet...kind of like candy coated. But La J loved them. Chicken was hot and good. I love the $5 pack that they have....just enough food to fill me up and it comes with a nice warm soft chocolate chip cookie. Not sure if that is the way it is served at other locations, but they do here. Big parking space, kind of a pain in the ass to get into because of the location and traffic, but at least you don't have to try and look for street parking.

Visiting during the pandemic, and they're taking masks, social distancing, refills with different cups, and few dine-in tables available, seriously. This location is fine for fast food chicken, but some of their extras--the Mac'n'Cheese especially--are not all that great. The people who took my order were friendly.

They gave me the wrong order. I ordered No.7 with sandwich and chicken popcorn. I got the fried chicken instead lol.

Wow. We were blown away with how great this place was!…read more It seems like a good portion of their business is to-go, but we dined in recently and would happily go again. The portions are large (my burrito was giant!), the prices are competitive enough, the food is delicious, and the employees were all very nice. The space was very bright and clean. When you eat in, you're given chips and salsas for the table to start, which was a nice touch. Our meals (the aforementioned burrito and my husband's half chicken combo meal) took about 15 minutes to come out as everything is made to order. The chicken combo meal came with two sides (he went with the Mexican rice and beans), and also arrived with some grilled spring onions, a roasted jalapeño, and a full pack of locally made corn tortillas. Thankfully, it's 'help yourself' to-go containers because we definitely both ended up with leftovers. Afterwards, we were meeting up with some friends and immediately started recommending they check this spot out since they live nearby. We already can't wait to go again sometime soon!

The spices were blended so well and the chicken was tender and juicy. The burrito was massive stuffed with tender steak. The food was tasty and delicious. I definately will be back. The quality is not at the level of the inimitable Dave's or Hot Chi, but better than fast food (excluding the Spicy McCrispy®, with a Sprite, that's another conversation for another day). I ordered two tenders so I'd have something for the beer at Green Mill next door to wash down. The Tenders were just about to be made fresh, and thus I got them as fresh as they come. While not the most thorough or crispy breading ever, the chicken had a medium light coating of medium crispitude. The breading had some basic seasoning, but what stood out was the chicken, which was tender for white meat (I think), and had some saltiness seemingly from being brined. The staffer working behind the counter was kind and friendly, and for chicken made fresh, it came out in a reasonable timeframe. Final verdict: while not a destination, KKC is perfectly fine for some textbook "good" chicken if one is in the area and needs something to put in one's stomach.

I never thought I would ever eat food from a gas station, but this was the only time I broke down and did. The crispiness of the skin, plus the flavor was on point! Add the biscuits, mashed taters and cole slaw and you had a meal. Fast forward to 2025, and KKC has moved from the gas station to a proper storefront. Located just down the street from The Green Mill and my favorite goat meat taco place (Birrieria Zaragoza). The chicken and biscuits are still just as tasty, they still run out of side at the end of the night, but so glad they are here. Much nicer than trying to find parking in a gas station to get chicken. The Doctor, Queen and I decided to stop in there for a bite to eat after spending several hours at The Green Mill listening to the wonder Chris Foreman on the Hammond organ. I remember when this space was a Mexican restaurant, so it is spacious with plenty of seating. We placed our order and the gentleman working the counter was pleasant. The food came up fast and was hot and delish. The side dishes are a good compliment to the chicken, if they have them. Not surprised as the gas station locations use to routinely run out of sides. Minus some missing sides, I have already been back to get food and will be returning. Be aware that while there is street parking, it can be difficult, especially with concerts at The Riviera or Aragon Brawlroom

I'm not halal myself, but I appreciate supporting diverse dining options. Ordering online was easy though pricy--my four buffalo wings with ranch were ready in 15 minutes and were just over $12 (before tip). Pickup was simple, the staff were friendly, and I even got a bonus fifth wing. There were a few tables inside, but I chose takeout. The wings were jumbo and meaty, but the heavy breading and sauciness made them soggy rather than crispy--just not my preference. If you like thick, saucy breading, you might enjoy them. The first time I placed a takeout order, I unfortunately got sick afterward. The owner reached out and genuinely wanted to make things right, which I appreciated. That's why I decided to give them another chance on my own time and dime and order the same exact meal--I believe a business should be judged by how it handles situations, not just by one-off issues, which can happen anywhere. This time, I didn't get sick! While the wings weren't my style, Cluck'n Wings has friendly service, easy ordering, and fills a niche. If you're looking for halal wings with a saucier, breaded style, it's worth a try.
