Came in alone on Tuesday July 1st 2025 about 3:30pm. First impression is outside parking lot needs a major cleanup and pressure washing. Looks like a neglected KFC from the 1970's, very depressing. Trash everywhere, no maintenance done on landscape, just very sad looking. Luckily the inside of the restaurant was much cleaner. When I came in there were no guests but all of the employees I could see were either prepping food or cleaning. They had some coupons for several items and the young lady that was cleaning offered to help me ring up at the counter instead of the self-order kiosk. According to the receipt her name was Tammy; very friendly and helpful, and stayed busy the whole time I was there. I ordered the 8 piece bucket meal deal which is normally $29 but with coupon was only $18.99 which is a heck of a deal, comes with 8 pieces of chicken, two large sides and 4 biscuits. I also ordered 4 of the apple fritter desserts or whatever they're called (I actually ordered the strawberries and crème cheese ones but apparently they don't have those anymore so they gave me apple, which if I had known I wouldn't have ordered them, they tasted ok but not something I would order again). Got my order and got home, everything was fine, chicken was good and cole slaw was good as usual, biscuits were not exactly fresh but I came between lunch and dinner so I didn't expect perfection! Only food issues I had was the gravy for the mashed potato's was very watery and definitely not the thick brown gravy I am used to and expect, tasted bland and that was a big letdown because that's my favorite item at KFC (wish they would bring back the "chicken little" sandwiches, those are the best! Anyway overall the food was good except for the gravy and switching out the apple fritters, but I was very impressed with the customer service of Tammy and how all the employees were looking busy and productive, also how rapidly my food was served. So this review should probably be lower but I gave it 4 stars basically due to the employees, otherwise: 5 stars for customer service and interior, 3 for food, 2 for exterior cleanliness. Not sure if I'll come back here but I will give kudos the the management for having friendly and productive employees. Spend some money on the exterior, I almost didn't go inside because the outside is so ugly and depressing. I have never been that way about a place but it looked like a place in the slums in the early 70's. Bummer dude's! read more

Dakota and Joy, busted down on the food when it was busy! The atmosphere was clean. They were really nice and attentive.

We went to this location around 6:30 pm and the young lady at the window named Joy had excellent customer service and was very quick with the whole order process from beginning to end. The food was fresh and very flavorful. She made the whole experience very welcoming and pleasant. We will return in the future . read more

Went to KFC "for old times sake". Menu has changed since the last time I ate at KFC. Store was clean and service was normal. Two of my friends ordered Chicken Pot Pies. They looked good and I was told that they also tasted good. Price was under $7, so not so bad. Other friend had a Fried Chicken Sandwich and she said that it was tasty. I ordered four Chicken Wraps. Big mistake! Two of them supposed to have been spicey. I don't think there was any spice anywhere to be found. Chicken Tenders inside the wraps were fresh and nice, but the tenders were just thrown into fajita wraps with quarter of a spoon of Slaw. Price of two wraps was $4.99. Not expensive but overall disappointing. Took two wraps "to go" for my husband. He was not so impressed either. read more

Food was okay, but service is always bad at this restaurant. My husband went to pick up 2-3pc chicken tender fill-ups. He tried to go in to order, but was told he must go through the drive thru, so he did. He received 1 dinner with 2 drinks. When the person handed his meal out the window, she handed back his credit card with the meal - which fell to the ground. He couldn't open the door to get it, so had to back up & pull away from the wall to get it - running over his card. (It's a mess). He then discovered he had only 1 meal. He had to drive around the building again and order another meal. When he asked how many meals he had already paid for, she could not tell him because the machine that printed up the receipts was broken. She did not deduct the price of the drink (that was supposed to come with the meal) from the 2nd meal. We hardly ever eat there, but the last 3 times we have ordered from the Cartersville location, there has been mistakes in our orders. This restaurant needs new management. read more

Sat in line for 15 minutes, two cars ahead of me, when I ordered three chicken tenders I was told it would be at least a 15 minute wait. So much for fast food drive-through. I went through the drive-thru a couple weeks ago. Boy was I disappointed. My husband had to say hey twice before anyone would answer, but when he did, he also let us know that the wait for any chicken meal would be at least 30 minutes. I went through the drive-thru on 8/26/2017, just before 9pm, in order to use a coupon that was expiring that day and the drive-thru stated that they ran out of chicken for the day and only had popcorn chicken left. I find that very hard to believe and I think the only reason no chicken was made was that the crew working that evening (closing time is listed at 11pm) decided not to make chicken hours prior to closing in order to get off of work as soon as possible. We have tried this location multiple times 3-4 we have heard it ALL out of chicken waited last time at the drive thru 37 minutes ask us to park and wait and forgot about us went back thru the drive thru manager apologized and gave us back our money and we still got the wrong order!!! My suggestion is to close it up call it a day DONT WASTE YOUR TIME GO SOMEWHERE ELSE TO EAT!!!!! I don't know who owns this location but your employees have really done a number on your business!!! Never fails, that's s store is ALWAYS out of chicken! HOW does a restaurant dedicated to CHICKEN always be OUT! Simple, the people here hate working here so much, they start shutting down 8 hrs early apparently! I'll just drive down the road and buy some bojangles. I've never met a bunch of the unfriendliness group of people in my life. I ordered from the app so that way I would know it would be ready when I arrive. Well the order was ready (surprisingly), when I go in to pick it up, I was greeted with what do you want, not may I help you or anything, but what do you want. I told them I was there to pickup my order, gave them my name, and they had it all throned together and I mean throned together. I asked for some BBQ sauce and she gives me one for 10 chicken strips, I asked for more and you would have thought I asked her to take out her mother. She gave me the 2 drinks that came with the dinners and I told her I ordered another one and she thought I was lying, thankfully it was on the app so I showed it to her so she wouldn't think I was trying to get a free one. After she handed me my 3rd drink she sat it down and as she was walking away she says, I don't have a drink holder, not I'm sorry, we have no drink holders or offer another way to carry 3 drinks or anything. My first time going to this KFC. I waited over 15 minutes in the drive thru to place my order and when i got to the speaker and placed my order they said it would be a half hour wait. This is Cartersville store.Went to get my husband's favorite dinner KFC. Took a chance again that might get good food and service. And well let down again. All started good till after I paid I was asked to pull around and they bring it put to me. No one behind me. Where I was asked to pull up to I could see what was going on. I see my chicken bucket up and bagged and sitting there.aftwe 12 min. They brought it out. Asked what was waiting for. She said mashed potatoes. I said WOW 12 min for them and my chicken sat there that whole time. Then they forgot my extra side. Pulled back in and went in. Asked for it they all looked baffled but gave it to me. I realized they didn't give receipt. But I get anytime alerts on bank card. When getting back in car 2 other cars are waiting for food. One 20 minutes for pot pie said figured they forgot him. Ordered 2 pc original, potatoe wedges and biscuit recently. Have been here many times over the years but the original chicken is always so greasy I have to use napkins to get some of the grease off that in turn takes off the breading. The grilled chicken was always tough. Service was very friendly. But the food is just not up to par..Won't be returning. read more
