"Since You've Been Gone" Sandwich - A Masterpiece!…read more If you're anywhere near Ashtabula and you haven't tried Fire! Chicken yet, you're missing out on a culinary experience that will absolutely change your life. I stopped in for their flash special, "Since You've Been Gone" ($14)--fried (or grilled) chicken, housemade deli roast beef, RB sauce, horseradish, and liquid cheddar--and I can't stop thinking about it. Pro tip: Add bacon. Trust me, it transforms this already mind-blowing sandwich into the best alternative to a turducken you'll ever find at a chicken shack. I paired mine with their fried pickles as a side, and it was the perfect complement to an already perfect meal. The magic is in the details. They nailed the ratios--nothing was overpowering, not even the horseradish, which is notoriously tricky to balance. Every sauce added to the sandwich's bold and unique flavor profile without competing for attention. And the textures? Unreal. Juicy chicken, crunchy breading, soft and warm bun--it was a symphony of flavors and textures in every bite. And those fried pickles? Game-changing. They brought just the right amount of tangy vinegar and a hint of garlic while doubling as the perfect mop for any extra sauce. Shoutout to the team: * Chicken Daddy? Playing 4d chess with this recipe. * The cook? Clearly working magic in the kitchen. * My waitress? On top of her game with quick refills and great service. This special gets a 10/10. Don't sleep on it. Get in here and treat yourself--you'll thank me later! What do you think? I'm just hoping next year we'll be able to look back on this as the first year of a new Yule-time tradition!

I've been here a couple times, never again. If I could rate…read morethis place a 0 Star, I would. First; coming in at 5:30pm to an almost pitch black place, that is not family friendly or safe. A lot of people in the party had to use their flashlights on their phones to even see. (It made a lot of us think the lights are dark to not show the food, or so people can get away with doing illegal activities.) Second; the food was subpar, claimed things were fresh when they clearly were not. Soda either didn't have enough flavor, or the machine was broken; everyone was saying how the soda tasted 'soapy'. Also being charged $12+ for small portions, barely any toppings/fillings, or for food that seemed undercooked/burnt. Someone in the party even had a hair in their food! The next couple days, almost everyone in the party started getting sick; not trying to full on blame this place, but it was the common denominator everyone went to. So, if you enjoy not seeing at all and like eating subpar bar food that can potentially get you sick, this is the place for you!

The tenders are very large & I could have easily gotten by on the 4-piece for lunch. The chicken has a slightly spicy flavor which should not deter anyone. I did not care for the ranch dipping sauce but you are provided a generous amount. Next time I'll try BBQ. The jambalaya was a bit dry for my taste but I take into consideration that this is fast food. The biscuit was good, had a slight sweet taste, but was not as fluffy as Bob Evans which I consider to be the "gold standard" for biscuits. In my opinion, the price was high for fast food though others are welcomed to disagree with me on this point. I consider Krispy Krunch Chicken to be a fair alternative to KFC. ________ Hey, fellow Yelpers! I stopped here specifically because Burger King has built a strong brand name over the years, and…read morethe "WHOPPER" is usually one of my favorite go-to burgers. Unfortunately, this specific location failed to meet those corporate standards. Instead of a freshly cooked, well-assembled meal, I was served a cold burger where the patty was folded at a sharp 90-degree angle, leaving more than an inch of meat sticking straight out of the side of the bun. To make matters worse, the taste was highly unappealing and tasted off, forcing me to throw it out halfway through. If you are going to charge nearly $7 for a staple menu item, there needs to be some pride in assembly and quality control. Disappointing experience. To make matters worse, there wasn't even a rush when I ordered--there were no cars ahead of me or behind me in line. It felt like I was handed a leftover burger that had been thrown together during a previous rush hour and left sitting under a heat lamp for God knows how long, rather than being made to order. Serving a stale, poorly assembled burger just to get rid of old inventory shows a complete lack of care for the customer.
