I didn't know 5 chicken strips could be so bad. They were very small, not crispy at all and barely warm. The Mac and cheese was not good and the biscuits were awful. The frying grease must be very old. We had not been to a KFC in a long time and will not be back. Even the mashed potatoes and gravy was barely warm. We ordered online and picked up at the window. Don't mind waiting a few minutes for fresh hot food but when I got back to my hotel room my order was missing the extra dipping sauce that I had to pay for and there wasn't any utensils or napkins. Had to eat the sides with parts of the box the chicken came in. The place wasn't busy, hate to see when it is. They were out of Dr. Pepper. The biscuits were okay. The chicken was mediocre. It didn't have much flavor. The macaroni and cheese was bland. So were the mashed potatoes. The gravy had little flavor. I could barely taste it. The coleslaw was inedible. The price was way too high. We were so dissatisfied that, when we left, I stole the light bulb hanging over our table. They're finally updating now, it's always been a good place under the ownership of Don. After he died not much to brag about and high employee turnover, however the food is still good for the most part. When the coleslaw is done right it's hard to beat anywhere in the country, same with their grilled chicken....if they have it cooked, when you can find it! read more

If I could give this KFC 0 stars I would. Just for customer service alone. Traveling home from Texas and needed to stop for food and to take my 2 year old to change his clothes from a massive blowout. They told me I couldn't even come in to let my 2 year old into the bathroom. So I had to change him in the parking lot! Are you freaking kidding me? Was excited to see online ordering with pickup at the drive thru. No waiting on the food! However, when we went to the empty drive thru lane to pick up our order, we were told we have to pick up inside. So with no one else in line and during a pandemic, we had to drive back around, park and go inside to pick up our food that was just sitting out on the counter. We asked for 16 pcs dark. Was told they could not do a 16 pcs dark. When it's on the menu. Then asked them to sub strips for what dark they couldn't give us. Was told no. DISGUSTING! Went to the men's restroom. A man came out of the stall and walked straight out without washing his hands - soap and paper towels were full. Didn't think much of it until I went out and saw that same man IN THE KITCHEN PREPARING THE FOOD! I turned around and walked out without even placing an order. read more

The worst service... Chicken was dried out... Potatoe wedges were soggy... Just the worst experience ever

Visited in July, restaurant was clean, chicken was hot and the potato wedges were excellent on this trip (not soggy YAY!)

We just stopped here for a quick bite to eat and I was really impressed! I didn't get their names but there were two ladies working on the day of 11-13-13 that went above and beyond my expectations. Stopped in for a quick lunch. The service was quick and the lady behind the counter was friendly. We sat down to eat and noticed an employee smoking just outside the door. I would think that there would be a designated smoking area other than in plain view of their customers. After she was finished with her cancer stick, she came back in and started immediately working! Uh hello, have you heard of washing your hands before handling the food? I don't think your customers want your Marlboro light stench on their Whopper. Another employee was getting off work at the time and had pulled his car just outside the front door. He came back in the restaurant with a grit hanging out of his mouth, not lit, but still. He then proceeded to help people from behind the counter with the smoke still in his mouth. Upon leaving the store, we noticed a boy (looked to be about 13 years old) puffing away just outside the door. Apparently this establishment has a requirement before they hire anyone. When I ordered a chicken wing dinner, I guess the heard pigeon wing dinner. I don't think I have ever seen smaller wings in my life. There's no chicken on this planet that have wings that small. I also could only get them in original not extra crispy. I have encountered this before as their are only so many extra crispy wings this store makes each night and I am not on the list to obtain them. My best guess is that there is some extra-crisp wing Nazi working there and only gives out the good ones to the goose stepping brotherhood. I wish there was a Pop-Eyes here and maybe KFC might start actually be forced to develop a business plan that would be more inclusive to the unwashed masses. until then don't order a 4 piece wing dinner as it would not fill up a child. I will not be spending my hard earned money at this establishment and would advise others to boycott this place the owner has a cash cow and doesn't care about the little people, just so long as the important people in Ardmore are taken care of. read more
