My husband was craving some catfish and since we're staying in the area he saw the sign and decided on to go for it. We walked in and they have a cute little Christmas tree all decorated. Place was super clean with about 3 tables occupied. We went up to order and the gentleman taking our order was so kind and I could tell he didn't hate his job (which is so rare for fast food places). We got our drinks and our orders of catfish came out fairly quickly. We chose a nice booth in the corner and were able to eat and enjoy the Christmas decor. As we're eating a table go up and left and the gentleman who took our order immediately went and cleaned the table, very impressive if you ask me. Food was hot and fresh, delicious indeed. Last but not least the bathrooms were squeaky clean and smelt wonderful. If I lived here I wouldn't mind stopping in once or twice a month. Two thumbs up! read more

Chicken Express in Ardmore across from the hospital is always busy, there is alway a line of cars waiting. Hubby likes the wings better than the chicken even thou we still get the chicken once in a while to go on our adventures. Moi likes the catfish & Cole slaw the best. The rolls are also very good. We spent a few days in Texas and saw Chicken express all over. So today on our way home through Oklahoma we saw this location and thought it would be worth the try. I will say upon meeting a gentleman at the door I thought wow this is some very nice southern hospitality. So it was a nice welcome. Upon entering it appeared to be a basic fast food restaurant. It was very clean and a little bit of country in its decor. We ordered chicken strips both in regular and spicy. I was greeted by the cashier who was friendly and very personable. She was helpful in telling me about the types of chicken and sides. She brought out our order and wished us a safe journey. We decide on the chicken tenders both regular and spicy. They had the crunch factor and were moist and tasty. I would totally recommend them. The corn nuggets were a tasty delight as were the fried pickles. read more

They had a very long line when I arrived and it went incredibly fast. The chicken was lightly breaded and not greasy. The okra was crispy and perfectly seasoned. The role was light and fluffy and had good flavor. Would definitely come back. The service was efficient and cheerful. read more

Came here for a quick stop and it was excellent. Super fast and the workers were really sweet. The food was also amazing.

Me and a group of 15 stopped by here to eat lunch after a youth conference in Arlington, and the facility is cozy, clean, and plenty spacious enough for a group. All the employees were 100% on top of it and knew the menu inside out. One employee even helped us find a speciall combo on the menu that was better for what we wanted to order. Service was lightning fast and it was quiet and calm inside. The restrooms were also nice and clean. Overall, a great place to eat. read more

The chicken strips are really good, but I just bought the #1 combo with French fries and my buddy got the same with fried pickles. They just put a few pieces in his tray so I'm really having issues with the price vs what you get on your plate. I have been to other CEx where if the tender is small they throw another piece in. Bought a family pack come with strip, mix chicken, a gallon of tea, 3 family sides, 12 rolls for $33.99 plus tax. Also bought a side of fried. I asked for cup to drink tea and was told they dont give out cup and i would have to pay to have one. Fried is too old and hard, end up through away the whole bag. Chicken is too dried. Just left Chicken Express at the Ardmore location. I ordered the #4-2 pc w/one side. I asked for mashed potatoes and gravy. I requested the gravy be put to the side due to the fact that the last time I ordered the mashed potatoes & gravy the container had more gravy than potatoes. They denied my request and said they would have to charge me for a side. I explained why I asked and then suggested they go light on the gravy, but again was told no. Said the sides are already pre made and they couldn't honor my request... . Okay so hearing that the side items were pre made was definitely a negative for me, but refusing to honor my very simple request for gravy to be in separate container should be unacceptable. I wasn't asking for extra. The employees seemed to be busy with their closing routine and acted as if I were interrupting them. I NEVER complain, but I'm so fed up with the lack of customer service here. I'm done with this restaurant for quite some time. read more

If you like chicken livers this is the place to get them. I have been there several times now and though this is the only thing I have tried on the menu, they were really good, crunchy outside and not overdone on the inside, very tender. I love chicken Express, the only problem with this location is that seems like the strips are continually undersized. I have eaten at many different Chicken Express resteraunts and have never had that problem before. I have also never had to pay for dipping sauce before either. My family normally orders a number 2, add 1 strip, a couple extra rolls,and a few drinks and leave happy and full. read more
