We've been coming to Fireside Dining for years. The first time was 1980, and while it remains a…read moregood restaurant, you can feel the shift in eras. Having changed hands through different owners over the years, I know of one for sure. I remember a man named Gary took it over, and the prime rib was wonderful. It seems it has lost a bit of the grandeur and special-occasion polish it once had. That said, the food is still enjoyable, and it's always nice being by the lake. It is still worth a stop for good food.

The staff is always friendly and professional, and the food arrives in a timely manner. This time I ordered the prime rib, which was a huge portion that would probably make at least two meals. If not, three it comes with salad and a side rolls and they're delicious crouton basket, which are out of this world and that was only $51. The prime rib was very tasty as was the potato casserole I ordered as a side did I mention how great the croutons were? They are amazing. Definitely would recommend fireside for your dining. Squisito!!! Visiting from TX and found this gem online. The food was beyond amazing. The staff was…read morevery helpful and attentive. For appetizers we had mozzarella sticks and calamari. Both were lightly fried to perfection; the calamari was tender and neither were a bit greasy, both were served with some of the best marinara sauce I've had. It was explained when I asked that I could order any protein, with any sauce, with any pasta. I went for scallops with vodka sauce over angel hair pasta, the portion size was enough for two. My husband and grandson shared a four meat pizza and asked to switch out the three veggies for olives. My daughter had the three item plate with Alfredo, lasange and chicken parmesan, hold the marinara on the chicken. All our food arrived on point. The prices were beyond reasonable. What made the meal even more enjoyable was a gentleman playing nice music on a keyboard.
