Don't look at me like that. I, too, get cravings. And deep fried chicken in an intoxicating blend of herbs and spices ranks high on my cravings list. That's why I'm not going to feel guilty or chastise myself for the occasional indulgence in my favorite mass-produced southern dish. The meals themselves are consistently the same as you'd find at any other KFC: greasy, delicious and not at all similar to what you see in the pictures on the drive-thru menu board. We came thru the drive-thru to order and haven't been in years so we were taking a little longer than normal to order and I was asked 4 times if I had questions or needed help. I told the guy at the speaker "no thank you I just need a minute" then I'm guessing it was the manager who came on the speaker next to tell me that "there's a window time and I needed to hurry up and order" at that point I was so irritated we left. I couldn't even look at the menu for three minutes without getting asked if I need help 4 times and then the manager coming on and being rude to a customer. This is by far the worst location I have ever been to. I live locally so I have given this location more than enough chances. It seams that the staff here don't care about their customers as they are rude and pretty much EVERY time I order here they miss multiple items from my order and when making the mash potato bowels, it seams as if they use the old burnt pop corn chicken that's sat all day and just reheated it. This KFC has a history of being "out" of things frequently. Went to get two pot pies for dinner, placed the order, and drove around to pay. Get to the window and they tell me they only have one. It's a hour before they close. Can they not make another one? Do not go here if you want a 16 piece chicken, all dark meat meal. I went through the drive thru at lunch time. When you would think they would have plenty of chicken . I ordered a 16 piece, all dark meat. They proceeded to tell me that they didn't have that much dark meat so I asked how much dark meat they could give me. They told me, and I swear you can't make this up but they said if we give you all the dark meat, we won't have enough chicken for other orders. Went to this place last night under the impression that since it had been remodeled that the service would be better. I was completely wrong. The cashier wasn't paying attention to anything that I was saying and charged me for something that I didn't even want. Waited around 20 minutes just for them to fix the mistake. I'm glad I checked my receipt and the items before I left. Never going back there again. Just because the restaurant looks amazing, it doesn't make up for the horrible service. This place has been my quick go to for lunch for nearly five years. During covid they'd even allow me to order at the drive through window on foot if there was no one in line. But I've had it with that new manager that was hired. From what I've gathered and heard from the other employees and customers that still go there, they make changing their cooking oil a weekly procedure, cook fries in the same oil as chicken, the employees barely clean up after themselves, and the ones that do clean up or try to replace the oil daily are scorned and written up. There was even an electrician that did work for their lighting systems and found COCKROACHES in grease piles in the corner of the main kitchen! I haven't eaten there for about a month, and I'm counting myself lucky I haven't gotten plastic pieces in my corn or Mac and cheese like the other customers that have posted images of, but that horror story from the electrician is enough to abandon that place entirely. This is not a one star review for the restaurant, but it's instead a one star review for the new manager. Get yourself together and actively start getting the lacking staff members into shape before you get the place closed. read more

I am not sure what all the negative reviews are about as I have always had a great experience at this store. First off the staff is the friendliest of any KFC in Sacramento and it is a real pleasure to see young people who actually look like they care about their job. Secondly I dont see how you can leave the store without your entire order as they name off everything as they bag your order. If you ask for plates, napkins, butter, honey etc they give it to you with NO attitude and a smile. Now KFC is known for being greasy, duh its fried chicken. I grew up on this stuff and its supposed to be greasy. Try ordering extra crispy as this is not as greasy or just get grilled chicken. The chicken pot pie and especially the new chicken crispers are my fav items here. The pot pie is flaky and crispy with a good portion of chicken, on Thursdays they are $2.99. The chicken crispers are expensive but are all white meat, juicy and delicious. This store is normally running a special as well as any nationwide specials run by the company. Today we ordered the 10 pc leg and thigh, 2 large sides, 5 biscuits and a cake for $24.00. That is a good value for those of us with kids and dont feel like cooking or having burgers :) read more

I ate here today with my grandpa and sister since there is no kfc in Yuba City. And it was horrible. Parking sucks. Very small parking lot and the service was horrible. They had teenagers working there that didn't know how to do a good job. Every single coustomer complained. We got it for here and they gave it to us to go. No forks and we didn't get our buiscuit. I should've read the reviews before buying chicken here. I ordered KFC wings and they were nasty. All have dried bloods, nasty thick batter and hard as rock, very salty and almost no meat! This has to be the WORST fast food place I've ever had the misfortune to go to. Two people in front of me in line but took almost 10 mins before I was able to place my order. There are currently 6 SIX groups of people inside. ALL of them are waiting on their orders. No one is eating. The dining area is dirty and smells like urine, the soda machine was filthy with a pool of water, soda and napkins. No lids for the cups. The employee at the counter constantly walked away for minutes at a time while people were waiting to leave orders. And when you FINALLY place your order he stops everything to try and get you to do some dumb survey so that he can get credit for it. This place has some serious issues with prioritization. Good afternoon, If I could give 0 stars, I would. I have never felt the need to reach out to your business . Unfortunately, I think this situation needed to be addressed. Around 3:30 pm today, my husband and I stopped by the KFC located off of Watt and Elverta in Antelope, CA to order some food for a long drive ahead of us. We came with a $15 gift card - the numbers on the card were *** (message back for details). A man named Jesse Torez, the manager at this location, quickly swiped my card once and told me that it was not going through. I asked if he could please use his computer to type in the card number. Without even trying, he handed me my card back and told me that it wasn't his responsibility. I gave him a $20 bill and he then quickly turned around, grabbed my food, and aggressively put it out of the window. He seemed very rushed, although there wasn't one car behind me. I drove off feeling frustrated and downright disrespected. Not only did I receive absolutely terrible customer service, but I also drove off without napkins, silverware, and was not offered any sauce. I never usually would complain, and I understand that mistakes do happen. However, I will not be returning to this location ever again. I am shocked at the service I received by the manager at this establishment. I hope that this gets back to jesse torez, and I hope that this establishment doesn't lose any more customers because of actions such as his.
