I am not having good luck with fast food this week! I'll start off with the good. The hot honey chicken sandwich was fresh and delish along with the biscuits. 9/10. Everything else was an utter disappointment. The tenders were gross. Walmart great value frozen is better. They were cold and unappetizing. They did sit there for 10 minutes while they waited for my mashed potato balls which ended up having no mashed potato in them. Like it seeped out in the fryer. Fries were limp and soggy. The Mac and cheese was just meh. The worse part was the Korean nuggets. The sauce is disgusting and the nuggets were cold. And we ordered and ate in the parking lot soooo. It feels Great to be able to give my local KFC 5stars. We've been in Antelope over 10yrs and had given up on them. It's a mile from my home and we would take a 25min drive when craving. We've had them 4times this week. I Always forget to take pictures. The wings, wedges and chicken little was fresh and delicious. But we are eating in. The guy at the counter tells me, "I'll give you some trays, but just to let you know we close the lobby in 25 minutes." I have had a bad experience with the staff at this location 5+ years ago and Jasmine A went above and beyond. Was told to go and wait in the parking lot. 15-20 min later, an employee who was very rude asked me what my order was. He gave me my bag of food and it was missing the chicken strips, ranch, and fries. Walked inside and said politely the chicken strips, fries, and ranch were missing. I'm so surprised by all the bad reviews about this location. I made a big order for pick up and went to the drive through. From there they had me wait at a spot because the chicken still had to be made for hot and freshness. I didn't mind the wait and Alexis made sure to let us know that they are getting our order ready and offered a complimentary cake for the wait. The chicken had been way over cooked In a broth and tasted like the overcooked chicken in a progressive soup. I have a hunch the chicken was used for broth not meant for customers before being used to fry and batter and served to customers. While the idea of "waste not" is nice the idea that we aren't getting what we expected to pay for feels like a stiff. It does not feel nice to think that we got someone's leftovers essentially. Came here for lunch with my bf, the lobby was pretty dead, 1 person dining in, 1 person waiting for their order and a few cars in the drive thru. We were greeted promptly and told to order when ready, it took us a few mins to decide and we both got chicken sandwich meals. The wait time was about 5 mins and when our food came out it was cold and the bun was soggy..didnt really have high standards for kfc so we just dealt with it and left. We arent fans of kfc and are never in the area anyways so i dont see us coming back anytime soon. Felt like I was an inconvenience last night. I hate there chicken, normally very disgusting to me. Wife really wanted protein so she got chicken and I got a burger. Chicken looked ok, burger tasted good but been up most of night sick. The staff seems to always be rude. Last night was the final straw for me. Never going back. A few evenings ago, we went thru the drive thru made a order- when we arrived at the window to pay and receive the food. we gave them a cash app card to pay for the meal. The employee took the card and swiped it handed back then asked for the card to swipe it again. After the Swiped il add stated it was denied. This transaction showed up on the app on the phone. Said the money was withdrawn but we did not receive the food because of the denial and they wouldn't cancel that transaction. Now we are talking to the corporate office which is giving us the runaround and give us a food credit of $30.00 for the bill of $59.25. now this is going to affect our Thanksgiving and the ability to be. Thankful for. Holiday This incident happened just a little bit before 9:00 and it closed at 10:00. Maybe it was slow? so slow that the employees came from the back room to prepare the meal? This is my last time coming to any kfc establishment anywhere. I came tonight to get a late dinner when I ordered I was told about a 7 minute wait for chicken which sounded understandable being late. I was instructed to wait out front in my car and the food would be brought out to me since the lobby was closed. I waited 10 minutes got out my car and stood in front of the locked door. Security then told me to wait that they'll bring it out, again understandable. I waited again in my car while there was no customers going in or out of the drive thru I was the only customer there. By now 30 minutes had passed so I decided to re enter the drive thru when I told them I had been waiting 30 minutes they were shocked and JUST started to make my order and finally gave it to me. Seems like they forgot all about me......their only customer at 9:20. I was the only customer there on 06/18/24 9:20 pm no one coming in or out.This sucked I had been screwed over plenty of times from this same kfc forgetting to place things in my bag I am totally finished with kfc Popeyes got better chicken anyways lost a lifelong customer to the shitty hiring that kfc has seemed to have over the last 10 years. Ok this is definitely not a 1.5 star KFC location! It's not in the ghetto, it's in a nice shopping center and easy to get in and out of, what more can you want? I'm a Vegetarian so there are only a few things (mainly sides) that I can order from a KFC so I have been to this location a few times to order my all time favorite; potato wedges with honey mustard sauce! The honey mustard sauce is an absolute MUST. I have to ask for extra. I used to enjoy their macaroni and cheese as a kid but now think it has no flavor and is a sad soggy excuse for mac and cheese. Yuck. Luckily the potato wedges are still great or I would never come here. The location was clean and service in the drive thru was semi slow one time and quick the next.
