I was not calling this man to flirt, hit on him, or do anything inappropriate--I was calling because I needed a locksmith. Apparently, his girlfriend/wife/whatever relationship they have decided to call me back and tell me to "find a new locksmith." Let me be very clear: if your personal relationship is so insecure that a woman calling your partner for a professional service becomes a problem, that is something you need to handle privately--not with customers. I have never experienced something so bizarre and unprofessional. Instead of simply providing a service, I somehow ended up being dragged into someone else's relationship drama. If you're running a business, act like a professional. Customers should not be made to feel uncomfortable or accused simply because they contacted you for a service. I honestly feel bad for the guy because imagine losing legitimate business because someone in your household is answering customers' calls and policing who is allowed to contact you. I reached out to Unlimited Locksmith and was paired with Ahmed, who was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. Ahmed quoted me $120-$150 to repair the lock, which was already far more reasonable than another locksmith I had called earlier. That previous company (Wolf&Key) told me the lock was "broken from the inside" and claimed the repair would be complicated--quoting $350 to replace the lock with a new key, or an outrageous $500 if I wanted to keep my original key. Ahmed proved all of that wrong. He arrived quickly, was extremely responsive and communicative, and stuck to his original quote. I ended up paying $150, kept my same key, and didn't need an entirely new lock. He took the time to explain what was actually wrong, including how many internal plates were damaged and what he needed to replace. His knowledge, skill, and attention to detail were obvious. I'm incredibly happy I decided to go with Unlimited Locksmith. Professional, honest, fair pricing, and truly skilled--Ahmed saved me hundreds of dollars and a ton of stress.
