Don't be fooled by the ratings like I was, it may have been "good" before but not anymore…read more Let's start off with the location. The GPS says one thing and it's not there. It would have been nice if they would have mention that it's above the West Marine and that the stairs are on the right of it. It also sucked that I was calling and calling to ask them for directions and they didn't pick up the phone. I called 4 times and it just rang and rang. I managed to find the place and I even called them as I waited in the waiting room and just as I expected, the phones didn't ring. They had the volumes taken off which is a nice trick to not take care of customers on the phone. I was the ONLY client there, so it's not like they were busy taking care of anyone or the phones. And yes, it was the correct number because it was the one I originally used to make my appointment. SERVICE: I've never met such lifeless people at a front desk. I know service went to crap after the pandemic but this was something else. No one smiles and no one looks at you in the eyes. I waited quite some time for the doctor to come in to see me. I was the ONLY client there and I saw him on his phone (cell not work phone) while I passed his office. So why the insane wait time? I waited 45mins siting in the lobby before I was called in, and again... I was the ONLY client there. You can tell when people don't really care about the business. This probably wasn't his business so not much skin in the game (pun intended). The consultation was pretty efficient, that's the only thing I liked. DECOR: The inside was small and awkward. There was a nice view in the room I was waiting in for the doctor. The outside made me anxious to go inside. SUMMARY: I could have the same things done elsewhere, I'm not sure I'd come here again.

This person never checked the back of my legs or even had me stand up. He asked me if I had any concerns about any marks, and I told him, yes. I have one on my forehead and he acted like he burnt it off but it's still there. I have a mole on my chest and when he looked at it, he said it is precancerous, but don't worry about it. My doctor thought it should definitely have been removed. He spent right around 45 seconds with me, literally. He seemed very bothered I was even there and he was very unprofessional. The best part is when I get the bill for $813. My copay was only $37, but that's because of my insurance. I don't even know why I was billed because I did not get the exam that I was supposed to get and it was the worst visit ever. I tried to leave the same review on their website, but it would not post. The funny part is almost every single review they have is 4 and 5 stars. I've spoken with other locals and they agree that it is a horrible practice. Do not go here.

My first appointment with Dr. Berman was wonderful. I would have recommended him to everyone that I…read morelove. My appointment, however, was a far cry different. He has been out of town and I was going to the hospital and to a walk in clinic. I was being eaten alive by some sort of bug but didn't know what it was. I had taken samples to the hospital and the walk in clinic and they both recommended that I go to my dermatologist for follow up and identification. When Dr Berman returned to town I made an appointment as I had to have a second treatment the hospital as the hospital recommended. Dr. Berman practically threw me out of good office, never examined me, and wrote it off to psychosis. I began living in my car although I paid $1600 a month for my studio and because I moved to my car I moved the BED BUGS to my car. I've never been able to get them out of my car, I abandoned my home because I couldn't afford the $1200 for the tent on my place, and I had to move after landlord $7k in advance. GRANTED my landlord was a Scumbag, no doubt about that, BUT, had Dr Berman bothered to actually listen to me rather than berate me and call me a psycho I would have been able to handle it before it got out of control. NOT the nice man he appears to be, at all. Well, turns out I had bed bugs.

The PA Morgan Miles diagnosed my skin lesion as an aktonic keratosis without a biopsy and just used…read moreliquid nitrogen on it. Turns out that it was Malignant Melanoma and I am now undergoing treatment for a stage 3 cancer. They did not biopsy it until 10 months later when I complained it was not healing, but by then it had grown large and deep with ulcerations and needed surgery and immunotherapy. The PA's in this office need re-education and when I called the office and spoke to the office manager about this situation she was uncaring and said they did nothing wrong. I asked for a Follow up call to let me know how they were going to prevent something like this from happening again and the managers said they would not do that. I will be notifying the medical board in hopes that they can order some re-education for the PA's or more supervision by physicians.
