I choose to go Advanced Urgent Care rather than Baptist Fisherman's ER. So glad I did. What a wonderful experience even though my visit determined I would need surgery. The check in process was easy and fast. The nurse showed true concern for my issue. My wait for Dr. O'Connor was very short. He listened to my concerns. Was thorough and explained what my next steps would need to be clearly and precisely. I even went back for my pre admission testing. Unfortunately, it's not a visit to Marathon without a visit to Urgent Care. But so glad I have found a medical facility and staff that I trust while in the Keys. read more

My girlfriend went here for throat symptoms during vacation. Doctor was very unprofessional/rude and failed to send in the prescription to my pharmacy. $150 visit and no relief. Gonna have to make more phone calls tomorrow to sort it out on the day we're leaving. read more

After making 2 mri appointments via phone last week, we show up at our appointed time only finding out, they squeezed someone in on our time and rude receptionist informing us that our appointment was now at 2:45pm and that they could only do one of our mri's. Due to this, we have to come back tomorrow for the other mri after driving an hour and 15 minutes here to this location. Receptionist did not care about inconveniencing us and she actually told us that they didn't even do the said mri at first. She was very clueless. I would not recommend this place although the person that called us last week was nicer. We were very disappointed at the service here. This review would be a negative star but only for the employee in the phone we liked. read more

We were in the Keys visiting from Idaho. While in Key West, I became very sick and thought I had the flu. We were spending the next few days in Duck Key and I just couldn't take it anymore and went to urgent care. I walked in and I was in an examination room within 10 minutes. All the nurses and the doctor were so amazing. Turned out I didn't have the flu, but they prescribed some medicine and I was on my way. Jorge was friendly and gave me care instructions for the next few days to get me through. I'm very grateful for everyone there. read more

I arrived at Advanced Urgent Care to a fabulous staff...welcomed by a sweet receptionist who asked to complete my info on the tablet, easy peasy...after giving insurance cards, they weren't going through...she asked Laura to help, still nothing. So I had to self pay, not what I wanted to hear, but no big deal...this office was so fantastic...I was called in by Chelsea, RN so understanding, checked me in asked questions and I tried to answer as best I could...she was great...had a great conversation with her. Then Brandi, NP came in, asked a few more questions... took my blood pressure, then checked my breathing, since I heard walking pneumonia was going around... But thank goods, it wasn't that, as I still had 5 days of vacation. Brandi, prescribed antibiotics and steriods...fantastic. The best, easy check out, given a full description so I could possibly send it to my insurance company. If you are in Marathon and you become sick, this is definitely where you want to go.... read more

Making an urgent care stop was not on our vacation itinerary but 2.5 year olds always have other plans. From check in to the exam room everyone at this urgent care was very friendly and made our toddler feel at ease. I was stung by a bee and am allergic, did not have my epi-pen with me. I took 2 Benadryl and headed over to Urgent Care. I was told they couldn't treat me because they do not have oxygen on site. I needed to go to the hospital ER. The business name is "Advanced" Urgent Care and they have no oxygen? The staff was pleasant but I find it very lacking to have no oxygen on premises. If a current patient is in office and has difficulty, needs oxygen, I guess they'd either call an ambulance or have someone transport them to the hospital. It seems they're risking potential valuable minutes of a patients life by not having oxygen on site. The treatment I needed was a steroid shot and script to come home with, the staff at the hospital were wonderful! I'll never go back to this urgent care for anything, I'd be too concerned about they're capabilities. read more

I had an accident with a knife while trying to get an avocado seed out during our vacation. They were close to our rental house and got me in and out quickly including placing sutures in my hand. The doctor and staff were very friendly. I highly recommend this clinic. read more

Will never go back. Made an appointment hoping it would be a quick visit. Took over 2 hours for a routine blood test. I am a new visitor so expected some time for paperwork but the time needed was ridiculous. Staff questioned my insurance card so I had to call insurance company to get them to confirm my information. Arm bruised where the phlebotomist has difficulty drawing my blood. After he completed blood draw I noticed he only had one glove on. During this COVID crisis I would think gloves would be even more important. read more
