It still took a while to be seen. We then had a 1 hour wait at 8:45 when I brought my son back. They are a small facility, they don't have all the fancy gizmos but they do what they can. We got antibiotics and thankfully enjoyed the rest of our visit. I recommend going as soon as they open to minimize the wait. Keep in mind the pharmacies down there don't open until 9 so there was a gap but not their fault. I'd rather wait for the Rx then feel miserable in a waiting room for hours.

I was admitted to be observed overnight and continued with a battery of test. Overall I think I was treated by over 50 people on the staff during my stay. My experience was excellent. The food was delicious. The entire staff all the way up to the doctors and video specialist were so caring and helpful. It was a terrific experience except for being scared almost to death. She allowed me to speak to nurse Kelsey who also took the time to check and find out if they could help me and yes they were able and willing to help. So I saw Dr Hare who was kind, compassionate not in a rush to get me out of there which is unusual to say the least. Even my check out experience was nice as Kelly and Kayla helped me understand some insurance issues and greatly helped me with a past due balance issue. I highly recommend this office and feel like the extra hour of travel time was very much worth it.

5 Stars for Lower Keys Medical Center!…read more I've lived in Key West for over 33 years and have been to Lower Keys Medical Center several times. I had a procedure today with Dr. Lopez, and I was truly impressed by the care I received. The nurses were all cheerful, kind, and incredibly helpful. RN Armando especially stood out. He remembered me from my colonoscopy with Dr. Lopez in 2025. Both then and today, Armando went above and beyond. He brought me an extra warm blanket, offered me the TV remote, and made sure I had the call button in case I needed help before my procedure. RN Susana was amazing with my IV. It's the first time I've ever left a medical facility with no bruises or scratches. When I removed the tape, there wasn't a single mark. Her skill and gentle care made such a difference. Afterwards, Armando and the other nurses checked on me and offered crackers and juice twice during recovery. They made me feel genuinely special and cared for. Thank you to Dr. Lopez, RN Armando, RN Susana, and the entire LKMC team. I highly recommend Lower Keys Medical Center!

I had a UTI which meant I was literally pressing the call button every 15-30 minutes for assistance and yet I never waited more than two minutes for someone to respond - cheerfully and with a kind smile. These folks sincerely care about the comfort of their patients and it makes all the difference. Honestly, if I could book a hotel stay here I'd do it! Oh and the food was really good; Tasty, top chef quality meals that I often wished I could order seconds. Thank you to these kind folks who are clearly in the right profession. I felt I was among friends!

My 78 year old mother-in-law was hiking on a trail at the Dagny Johnson park, stepped in a hole, and fell face-first; her nose, lip, and face were bloodied and she couldn't put weigh on her right leg. This place was the closest -- She didn't have her insurance card on her when we tried to get their help, but explained we could get it quickly if they could just help right now-- they wouldn't even offer her a bag of ice, or anything to staunch the blood. Luckily the Public was next door so we got ice and gauze and took her to the ER. Don't advertise yourself as walk-in urgent care if all you actually seem interested in is Doctor-assisted weight-loss patients.

They had been promising another family he'd be there in 20 minutes - an hour ago.
