The office staff has no clue how federal insurance works - I pay the co-pay, then they bill the…read moreinsurance company. This is how it works everywhere. Not this quack's office! They tried to fleece me of $300 up front! No, that's NOT how it works. They had to say this was because my deductible is so high. I DON'T HAVE A DEDUCTIBLE! I tried to explain this to them (and even called my insurance company - federal BC/BS - to verify this) but they were rude and dismissive. BEWARE!! Do NOT use this doctor! They have no idea how insurance works, and are rude in the office. I can only imagine how rude the doctor is. We are filing a complaint with BC/BS and asking for an investigation. Oh, and some other patient was there and they did the same thing with her - and it was her Medicare! DO NOT GO TO THIS OFFICE!!

I had to tell them to call a nurse, and she said "I am a nurse". luckily i got the attention of a nurse in the back and she came out to see what was going on and she called EMS. The receptionist's are horrendous, meanest woman you could hire. No help in making appointments. they speak to you like you are doing a disservice to them by making them do they're jobs. they cannot get a referral right, they take usually around 10 days to complete your referral. and then they don't call you to tell you its ready. As a doctor I DO NOT TRUST HIM, Really bad at explaining what he's doing and WHAT HES GOING TO DO. like a surprise prostate exam. not a joke he literally said he was going to look at the back door and he then surprised me with a finger all the way in. which is kind of a big difference i think. he misdiagnosed a man for four years, the man had been constantly going to him reporting his symptoms and asking for help. the man got a second opinion and found out he had stage 4 cancer and could have been saved if only someone could have found it sooner. he sadly passed away last year. last year he replaced his old receptionist, the replacement is even worse.

He's got a great bedside manner and listened to me well. He didn't rush thru anything. I see him as my primary care doctor. He works in the Community Health of South Florida center in Tavernier. It's located in the Winn Dixie shopping center. I never knew he was there. Glad I found him!!

When we moved to the keys we selected IMC because of the convenience of having access to so many…read moredrs. Sadly the service they provide has declined over time. Our recent experience has us believing we need to rethink our decision. We are disappointed because when we started with this office they were great. Drs were great and the team as well. Now everything seems disorganized. Anything that could happen wit our recent experience has: Scheduled a teledoc. had to call to ask if we missed our appt, Dr finally called and began to to review previously discussed test results , not the reason for scheduled appt. Once call got back on topic at hand, call was short and Dr prescribed meds. Script was not sent to pharmacy. This morning, Script still wasn't sent to pharmacy. We had to follow up a number of times. Finally drove to Dr office to get paper script to take to pharmacy. It wasn't ready as promised. PE found it and had it issued. In the meantime, they did send it over electronically. At pharmacy now ; waiting for Dr to call them back. Pharmacy noticed the script could interact with other meds. Thank goodness he is so good at his job!

Don't be fooled by the ratings like I was, it may have been "good" before but not anymore…read more Let's start off with the location. The GPS says one thing and it's not there. It would have been nice if they would have mention that it's above the West Marine and that the stairs are on the right of it. It also sucked that I was calling and calling to ask them for directions and they didn't pick up the phone. I called 4 times and it just rang and rang. I managed to find the place and I even called them as I waited in the waiting room and just as I expected, the phones didn't ring. They had the volumes taken off which is a nice trick to not take care of customers on the phone. I was the ONLY client there, so it's not like they were busy taking care of anyone or the phones. And yes, it was the correct number because it was the one I originally used to make my appointment. SERVICE: I've never met such lifeless people at a front desk. I know service went to crap after the pandemic but this was something else. No one smiles and no one looks at you in the eyes. I waited quite some time for the doctor to come in to see me. I was the ONLY client there and I saw him on his phone (cell not work phone) while I passed his office. So why the insane wait time? I waited 45mins siting in the lobby before I was called in, and again... I was the ONLY client there. You can tell when people don't really care about the business. This probably wasn't his business so not much skin in the game (pun intended). The consultation was pretty efficient, that's the only thing I liked. DECOR: The inside was small and awkward. There was a nice view in the room I was waiting in for the doctor. The outside made me anxious to go inside. SUMMARY: I could have the same things done elsewhere, I'm not sure I'd come here again.
