The massage table was comfortable, the sheets were very cozy & clean, without a chemical smell or harsh fragrance. She used the organic oil I requested & provided, which I appreciated greatly. She suggested a slight dynamic exercise of the spine & offered cues for breathwork during some stretching that she started out with, which made the massage feel extra luxurious & very pampering. Our time together was a bit over the 60 minutes that I requested, so she wasn't in a hurry to run out the door, which I like. I must admit, at first, I was a bit taken aback by the price that she quoted me while booking the service, it is slightly more than other therapists in the area, but now after my time with her, I know she has extensive knowledge of the human body & she has perfected her touch to be graceful, soothing, & effective at releasing tension from the muscles, all of which is clearly a result from being very experienced & passionate about what she does, so the service was well worth the price. The aromatherapy and products used were all heavenly. The receptionist could have had better manners. I appreciate when there is gratitude for us selecting their spa and you're pampered. She made me feel like we weren't wanted at some snooty country club- especially for the prices. The women's locker rooms were nice. Old school dial lockers. They had a steam shower and 3 regular showers. There was hair all over each shower and limited hooks. The shampoo, conditioner, body wash were all great quality! They did have sanitary hygiene supplies too (razor, disposable brush, mouthwash, etc.) The relaxation room is very small. Great tea/water/snack selections. They had a sound fountain with trickling water and soft dinging bells. There were two other large groups before our visit and between services. The spa may want to reiterate proper spa etiquette. *For those who don't know- treat it like a library not your local NY gossip bar!* All the therapists were very well trained and fantastic personalities. The large party before us were raving about the services too. The spa may want to invest in the talk or quiet session signs to communicate with the therapists what type of session the client is looking for (ie/ relaxation or social hour). It was an amazing first impression. We came here for a wedding on Sunday and had an awesome 3 day weekend. The catered meals and drinks were very much enjoyed and great. We peel and eat shrimp from the bar near our pool on our open day and it was fresh and tasty. The wedding took place on a point by the water right at sunset and it was over the top beautiful. Our room was spacious and very well appointed. Our patio on the second floor was very nice and had an amazing view of the ocean. So nice and a great Key experience.
