Other than the fact that I was able to get an…read moreestimate quickly and back to work, I am pretty sure some of the adjuster etiquette was not quite right. I basically walked out to my car with him and he just looked at me the entire time. I show him the car and he was like "This is it?" I told him that it was involved in rear ended collision and usually, most adjusters will keep it open and objective. They will not look to the owner of the car to come to a conclusion. He then told me, "I am just being respectful, but I do not think we can find another bumper. I do not see anything." I ended up getting the estimate and it was sent to the insurance company that had this autobody as one of their "preferred" body shops. Weeks went by and nothing was ever made of the claim. I decided to close it because I was worried, after my own research, that any additional estimates might total my vehicle. My vehicle is very old by year. Going back to the experience, it was just odd. Please retrain the red head to be objective about first estimates. Do not look at the client for answers, when walking out to the car. Be objective, be open, not "Oh, I do not see much and I looked under the back end of the car, but I see nothing." No, I barely some this individual get under the car to look. The process is to give a good initial estimate and then regardless of whether or not there needs to be a supplement completed, that is between them and the insurance company. The experience was just demoralizing. I ended up getting a second consultation by Cockrell's and Nate was amazing. I remember him being more objective the last time I went to him and he told me that I need to be careful if I get supplement estimates completed as it could total the vehicle and if the vehicle is drivable, to just use it as is. There comes a time when a vehicle gets to the point where repairing it aesthetically becomes second priority over the value of actually being able to use the vehicle.

Another auto body shop (who has higher customer ratings and is affiliated with BBB) gave us a quote for more than $1050 less than Carstar's quote. Carstar claimed that multiple parts needed replacing (sensor, trim) when all of the others said these parts were just fine. What a rip off. It frustrates me that they are so cavalier about taking advantage of people.

They take a week in a half to do it and really only felt like they started it the day they said I could pick it up because once they "finished" it and told me to come get it there was another problem that they would have to keep for the weekend. They ended up fixing that for free. The light turns on again 4 days later on the same tank of gas I got it back in so I bring it back and the very nice kid working told me they brought it to the other shop that does teslas and other modifications. He was confused about why German Motors themselves didn't do it. So he clears it and says it will be free if it turns back on. About 3 days later it turns on again and I bring it back the next day. This time they finally take my insurance for a loaner car. And then they send me another estimate of 2k worth of different stuff not related to the first problem. They brought it somewhere where it shouldn't have been worked on and are now making me pay for there mistakes.

The lady that answered the phone was so rude, she would talk to people in the background whilst still on the phone with me several time, she had an attitude and was not professional what so ever. I get it you might be busy but you can put me on hold rather than have a whole side conversation and kept jumping back and forth. I only spoke to them twice and my insurance also spoke with them and when I called to follow up because the information didn't match, she would ask people whilst I am on the phone to see who spoke to me and when her co worker said they didn't, she made it seem as if my insurance company and I were making stuff up. I am thinking lady, I am calling just to confirm information that didn't line up. But she was more stuck on who talked to who. It was like a pointing finger or blame game. It did not give me confidence that they would take ownership if something went wrong. On top of her unfriendly attitude, the way she talks down to me as if she doesn't care for my business made me pull my claim from them and went somewhere else. Clearly they felt they had enough business and didn't need mine.

I called them and they said bring it back and they would take care of it and paid for rental car. After 4 days. I picked truck and now noticed several Paint defects. They tried to insult my intelligence by sayings those defects were there already. $ days later they finally told me they would repair hood again however this time no rental car. I have use multiple partial vacation days already taking truck back and forth for their poor quality. I do not have an extra car and should not have to pay for a rental for poor quality. They say and will tell you their work is guaranteed for life until they have to back it up. Do not be fooled by this shop and fake appearance of high quality and customer service.. Very disappointed with this place. They do not stand by their guarantee.

The repairs on the rear bumpers were excellent. The bumper on the Camry required replacement and that work was excellent. I could have submitted three separate reviews. I also had a rear trunk on the Camry that would not open. The Toyota dealer wanted $120 for diagnosis plus repair cost. Bluegrass completed the repair for $129 including the part replacement. This would be another five star rating. The facilities are clean and inviting.

The situation is this I live in my van with my dog and am an equipment mechanic and welder and I took it to them because I don't have time to continue to works on my van. With my job and lifestyle involving being in the dirt, sand and grease my van isn't the cleanest but they are claiming it is a health hazard based on that.
