It's located at the golf course but is open to the public (no membership needed) You could literally smell the cleaning products as soon as you walked in the door which is always a plus in my book. We were greeted by a very nice woman from behind the bar who just happened to be our waitress as well. She seemed to be the only employee there bouncing back and forth from bartending to waitressing. She handled it very well. I was impressed with her quality of service and her patience with the bar crowd. I will mention that this place can get very loud depending on the bar patrons, not the best place for kids. The bar takes up a great deal of space with seating for people who want to dine wrapped around the bar. They do have a separate dining room area, but it was closed off while we were there. Which is completely understandable since there was just one person running the entire place. The menu had a pretty big selection and everything that we got there was delicious. I ordered the cheese steak with fries and thought it was very tasty. The meat was cooked perfectly and juicy instead of being over cooked, dry and crispy like other cheese steaks I've had in the past. We'll definitely be back!

We opted to do a late afternoon reservation at 4:30 and were very happy and sated after enjoying all the dishes we chose. Stand outs were the fried chicken and beef filet tenderloin. The carb loading was in full force with delicious stuffed shells, Mac and cheese and pierogis. All were worthy of second helpings, although I refrained! Actually all the hot entrees were very good. The salad bar was a bit disappointing and there was no one manning the pasta station. But there was more than enough other options to make up for that. Desserts were the only place there wasn't a huge offering. Most of my group opted for the Bananas Foster. They loved it! Our server was pleasant and regularly checked in to see if we needed water or to take away dirty dishes. And the atmosphere was pleasant with an industrial vibe. Now I'd like to return for a real meal, a dinner or lunch, not a buffet.

It took a little longer than expected, but 8 minutes was pretty good since there were 3 other patrons in the place. When my meal arrived and I tasted it, I noticed how cold it was and how it didn't taste like fish to me. Which is good because my meal that night was a beer served to me by a goddess with twizzler-like locks of hair....I'm guessing it's because both use Red Dye #7 to achieve that color and are probably a bit more plastic than real. We all know, but we're too lazy to care. Anyway, the bar atmosphere is great (if you enjoy learning how not to kill your wife and get caught,) as ID Mystery shows is all you get to see or hear. Even with this 5 star service I still find myself returning on the reg. I don't know why, I'm guessing the fake gin has learned some real gin powers and has begun siphoning souls to make her blood strands of hair brighter and brighter. I came to the museum not really knowing anything about it, so I didn't have any real expectations going in. Turns out it blew me away with how interesting it is! The museum is part of a complex of what was a fully functioning and busy town centered around the production of whisky, grist mill and farm. The house is also the birthplace of Henry Clay Frick. I know he is a complicated historical figure, but he is relevant and important to Pittsburgh area history, so it is interesting to learn about that portion of his history. When you visit the museum, you first check in to the museum portion of the experience (which is in the old distillery building). There are exhibits on the first floor and the second floor focuses on whiskey. Your tour guide will take you through the first floor of the homestead where you see recreated historical rooms. You also see the kitchen building on the tour. On the grounds is also a wonderful distillery that actively makes whiskey. You can sample their products along with other PA spirits and can also order a mixed drink. In addition to the museum portions, they also have a huge barn that is used for an events space. It is an interesting place to visit packed with history. A perfect place for anyone interested in learning more about local history.
