All of the girls working were nice and professional. It seemed like one of the girls was in training, and even with this the service was great. Being that it was my first time visiting, I had a lot of questions about the menu. The girl cashiering was kind and willing to answer all of my questions, as well as give product suggestions. We both opted for parfaits with the vanilla custard - the Apple Pie and the Strawberry Pretzel. They were huge and so delicious!!! We also got a pup cup to-go for our dog, and he loved that as well. I thought the prices of everything were very fair, and it is a fantastic value for the quality of product received. In addition to the custard offerings, there is a gift shop to patronize. There is a lot of country-themed gift and novelty items, and it was fun to peruse while waiting in line to order. I went about three months without any payments. I got very worried when I saw they had left my last message asking (again) for an update on when the next payment would be on "seen", after I was already told I would've been updated weeks ago. I finally received a payment after I brought up my inventory sheets and calculated what I'd be owed. They agreed to send my products back, but then began another waiting game. I was told it either would be sent, or was sent, and that I'd get tracking over and over. Instead of admitting it wasn't actually sent, they'd leave me on "seen". After weeks, they said they were looking for the tracking slip, and then they found the package of my products in an employee's car. They then said they'd be delivering it early the next day. Little did I know, they meant they were driving to my apartment building, uninvited, on a VERY busy main Pittsburgh avenue, and leaving it, while I would be at work for hours, in a bright neon blue mailer, accessible to anyone. You could've just mailed it, as you said you would for weeks. They told me they had been looking for the tracking slip, so tell me why the package had no postage and no tracking? I ended up with body shakes at work worrying about $250+ worth of my work being stolen. I ended up buying my neighbor a gift card, which I couldn't afford, for rescuing it. My fragile handmade jewelry was loose in the mailer, and my necklaces are tangled. I even took a video of myself opening the package. I always keep every record, inventory list, receipt, screenshot, message, etc, I have between anyone I do business with, to protect myself, indefinitely, until I die; no exceptions.

Her friendly and professional demeanor helped assuage the stress of throwing an event, and her contracts were well drafted and easily understood. Not bad for a little shop in an outside "strip mall" type atmosphere. Actually, the store is quite bigger than it appears from the outside and, for the life of me, I can't remember what was here before this boutique. But I digress... I spot the jewelry counter where two sales women were waiting on customers. Both said that they would be with me in just a moment. However, noticing that the two customers both donned an extensive amount of jewelry and bracelets on each on arm, both wearing a Pandora bracelet choked full of charms....I decided this might take a while. So, I did what anyone else with the patience of toddler would do...I butted in. I asked, politely, the price range on the charms. The sales lady, who didn't seem to mind the interruption since the customer was busy looking through a gamut of charms, told me that the charms run $30 and up. Hmmm I was discouraged. She said that I could look around and when she was free, look over some charms with me. I said thanks, but I was in a hurry. She handed me a thick catalog of jewelry to take home with me. I made a reservation for the High Tea for my husband and me. An employee promptly seated us. I felt disappointed that this tea room gave us plain white teapots without loose leaves and that they did courses rather than use a three-tier stand of foods, but we did have some choice in the teas and foods, and they did taste very good. The High Tea consists of the following: pots of hot water with a large selection of tea bags, choice of cold drinks, scone with devonshire, choice of soup, salad, three sandwiches, and choice of three desserts. For drinks, we chose four teas--cinnamon plum, peach and passionfruit, English breakfast, and salted caramel--not just two teas like at other tea rooms. We received colds teas, peach and sweet, included in the price. For foods, we chose two scones, M&M and one other that I forget. We chose two soups, which were chicken noodle and cheesy potato. The salad contained greens, cheeses, peanuts, cranberries, and raspberry dressing. The three sandwiches were cucumber, tomato-bacon-basil, and my favorite of chicken salad. For desserts, we chose lemon cake, carrot-cake cupcake, pineapple cake (?), cheesecake, brownie, and my favorite of cherry-chocolate ice cream. I appreciated having a cold dessert in the middle of the hot summer, and it was one of the best ice creams that I have ever tasted.
