We wondered around the store looking for this table when low and behold we look up at some point to see it displayed high up on a platform. I guess this creates more floor room but not super convenient to get to. We get an associate and express the interest in purchasing it. We are then told it's on clearance and is the last one available. I asked if there was anything wrong with it, and was told no, so SOLD. Now we have to wait for someone to get it off the wall. This proved pretty challenging oddly enough. So this store reminds me of a cheaper version of Pier One. Lots of cute home décor items, some small furniture and other various items. The museum pays homage to one of the best campy, horror films ever to exist (Dawn of the Dead). Pittsburgh locals George Romero (rip) & Tom Savini (he was my neighbor in Bloomfield! We lived just down the block from him) are responsible for this timeless zombie masterpiece which was filmed just outside of Pittsburgh in Monroeville. The movie was shot at the Monroeville Mall where the museum is now located. There is memorabilia from the movie including props. In addition, there are exhibits from other work by Romero & Savini such as Creepshow. There are themed rooms and of course a gift shop. This is a must-visit for any zombie fan, Savini and Romero fan, and horror fan. Pittsburgh Proud! Knowledgeable and friendly staff! Proper fans. Note: Romero's daughter, Tina is following in her dad's footsteps making zombie flicks of her own.
