But, the shelves are pure chaos. Not because customers put things back in the wrong places. There just doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason to the products' positions on the shelves. I was specifically looking for some organizer bins/baskets/containers. That aisle made my head hurt! Things weren't grouped by color, or by like item. I saw a cute set of desk organizer baskets I liked, but they were not the color I wanted. I searched for the ones I wanted, and saw how everything seemed to be haphazardly placed. I sometimes don't mind chaos, but in a store aisle dedicated to organization, I do, in fact, mind chaos. We did end up buying a small toy which was on clearance. I let my son stand in line while I looked at some things on a shelf near the registers. There was one cashier, and she very rudely snipped at my son for standing in line behind the other customer, instead of behind the "wait here" sign. (This was in 2026. No Covid, no pandemic. My kid can read, but he overlooked the sign and stood where he would/should at any other store.) Overall, this is not the worst store, but it doesn't have anything special, and I left feeling bad, which is not what I want from a shopping experience.

Having shopped online, I want the tactile experience of sitting on sofas (do my feet touch the floor? Is the seat sturdy but not too hard?) and feeling material (is it scratchy? Will it attract and hold pet hair?). I like to see it in a setting of an actual room (what coffee table would look good with the sofa?) And I want furniture delivered already put together, not an online purchase delivered needing my assembly. My experience at Levin was very nice. The setting was appealing, the furniture all seemed of good quality, and my sales associate, Kris, was super. She immediately greeted me and offered assistance without being pushy at all. I've bought furniture here several years ago and have been pleased with my purchases. But then I took it for granted that, of course, I had a good experience.
