I have received flowers twice from Buttercup and have been extremely happy with them on both occasions. I have also visited the shop in person and had a similarly enjoyable experience. One delivery was a stunning long stem rose bouquet. My husband told them that I liked purple, so along with the beautiful roses and baby's breath were some purple accents and a gorgeous purple bow. The roses smelled fantastic and lasted well over a week. The second were flower bouquets that I received after a performance. Those bouquets were full of color and seasonal accents and lasted almost two weeks. A visit to the shop is also a delight. There is a great variety of gifts and floral items in a range of prices. My mom lives in CA and has ordered flowers for me on three different occasions from Berries and Birch in the past year since my husband and I relocated here. I cannot say enough wonderful things about the arrangements I have received and about the service from the staff! You know that sometimes ordering flowers from a florist that you have never done business with before and are not sure of the quality of their work can be daunting. Berries and Birch really took that apprehension away for my mom and she told me that each of her experiences working with the staff have been great. I'll have to add a photo of my most recent arrangement received from mom. It really was beautiful and lasted about 3 weeks (I'm terrible about caring for floral arrangements). I called Berries and Birch yesterday seeking floral delivery to a small town about an hour away from Murrysville. They do not deliver that far (very understandably), however, the woman I spoke with went way above and beyond to find a reputable shop that was much closer to the delivery location. A hidden gem in Murrysville! I have ordered several arrangements for different occasions over the past year all has been absolutely beautiful and unique! I recently attended a wedding that Berries and Birch did the flowers. Wow! The bride's bouquet was stunning and the reception room looked like a fairy tale. Also I was in a situation for a funeral where the original company we ordered flowers from last minute cancelled our order and I found out while I was at the funeral so I called berries and birch and I was blown away by the customer service as well as how quickly they put the beautiful arrangement together and how fast they delivered! I ordered flowers for a friends birthday and never imagined the poor treatment I would receive in return. I ordered online and thought things were taken care of. My friend even received the flowers. Apparantly, there was a problem with my credit card and they tried to contact me late into the evening...8 hours after the initial order being placed. They said there was a problem and I asked if I could call them right back for I had just walked into the door from work. I then called them back 10 minutes after they called with my confirmation in hand. They didn't answer their phone. I tried the next day a little after 2pm (after work) and still no answer. I then noticed I had missed a call from an unknown number (to which no message was left) and called it back, the lady said "It's too late someone is already going to their house to pick up the flowers." My initial reaction was "What...to whom am I calling?" The lady said she was from Butter Cup Floral and because they couldn't reach me they went to pick up the "stolen" flowers. I was very embarrassed for my friend and called her immediately. She was just as shocked and esp by what the lady picking up the flowers had to say. They said that they would offer her to pay for them at well over half the cost if she wanted to keep them. Then they said the reason they needed them back is because they were considered stolen flowers. (Funny, if that was the case then why did they deliver them in the first place??) I called my credit card company and they told me that they didn't show any problems on their end and maybe it was a problem with their machine. Then they asked me what my credit card exp date was. I told the girl and she said "Oh, you will be receiving a new card soon." The very next day they sent flowers to my friend letting her know they are sorry. A little too late for that! I was very disappointed in the way they handled this matter and will "NEVER" recommend them to anybody! I have NEVER BEEN treated like a criminal in my life and thought they were very unprofessional with their handling of this matter. My advice is if you do decide to use this company...Don't order online! read more
