My daughter treated me to lunch In a private dining treehouse for my birthday this year. What a…read morelovely way to spend an afternoon! Upon entering we saw a "Happy Birthday" sign and were greeted by two lovely servers. A first bite was served while we waited for our cocktails . It was a chunk of very sweet watermelon on a wooden coaster. Next came some delicious bread with a leek butter. My daughter added the 4 shot cocktails to our experience and they were fun! Jell-O shots elevated quite a bit. Our appetizer was chef's choice which was burrata with grilled eggplant, peaches, greens and baguette. All so good! We enjoyed some extra cocktails from the menu, a blackberry mojito and a white Negroni with the appetizer. Then the entrees came along. I got the wild mushroom ravioli and she got the Faroe Islands salmon. This was the only part of the meal you had a choice in and you have to advise them ahead of time what you would like to eat as the main course. The final course was a creme brûlée serves in a 4 ounce mason jar. All in all, excellent quality of food and service with reasonable portions. We did not leave hungry. The screened in dining pod itself was very comfortable. It was a pleasant summer day so we did not need the fan or the heater which was available. They are nestled in the woods and sunshine peeks through the trees for a most serene dining experience. I commented that even if it were raining, you would be comfortable due to the design of the pods. There is a wide overhang so the rain wouldn't bother you coming in through the screens. If you are looking for a unique way to celebrate or just want to feel one with nature, this is an excellent option to consider. I highly recommend trying one out!

Having looked forward to our visit to Treetops Restaurant for many months I found myself totally…read moredisappointed on Sunday evening Sept 14. On the plus side , the treetop room made for an intimate and cozy dining experience . Ambience - 9. Our server was pleasant and efficient without being intrusive in any way - Service - 9. First let me say that I have no issue paying hundreds of dollars for a quality meal that is unusual, creative, innovative, tasty, - one that each course brings WOWs and other high praise. The 4+ course meal didn't come close. The Amuse bouche was good , but nothing special. The appetizer consisted of shrimp ceviche in a lettuce wrap along with a 1 inch wedge of watermelon - tasty , but nothing I haven't experienced elsewhere just as good or better. The salad - a split romaine topped with a slice of watermelon radish ( tasteless) a sprig of fennel, and shaved parmesan cheese . The dressing was home made but tasted like it was straight out of a bottle. Creative ? - Hardly ! For main course ( which must be selected days in advance ) - my wife's salmon was a generous filet on a bed of parmesan risotto ( gummy ). A very small amount of glaze that was not recognizable. I chose the Sous vide pork tenderloin. - A single 4 inch by 3/8 inch medallion with a fruit sauce served over a serving of tasteless smashed potatoes . Side dish for both meals was 3 sliced carrot pieces steamed and again tasteless. My meal arrived barely luke warm and over cooked - I assume it was plated and waited for my wife's salmon to finish. Dessert was crème brulee ! Plain creme brulee. To charge hundreds of dollars for a fine dining experience and then have the chef literally sleep walk through the entire menu and meal is unforgiveable. Our local culinary school provides a better culinary experience and menus at one third the cost of the Treetops .

I came to the restaurant with a bunch of friends on a Friday evening. We were basically the only ones there, but we did get there later in the evening. The menu has a nice variety of items and prices. I opted for one of the burgers because it sounded tasty. It really was. Although it was a little too juicy so it made a bit of a mess eating it. Drinks were fairly priced and not watered down like they can be in some places. The highlight for me was the crab bisque soup. It was the perfect consistency and temperature and packed with flavor. I'd honestly go back just for that. Oh and the salads are HUGE. I didn't have one, but a friend did and you could easily get several meals out of one salad. It isn't someplace I'd drive out of my way to come back to (it is about an hour from my house) but if I'm in the area I'd definitely stop and eat again.

Incredulously they had charged me .50 an olive for my two martinis. Total of 2.00 for 2 olives in each of my two martinis. The total check for the table was close to 300.00. It is. It is not the price but the audacity of the management to nickel and dime every facet of a meal. Supposedly this is fine dining, but you are going to charge money for a stuffed olive that comes in a jar from Aldis for 2.29. I will not be back under principle. I withdraw my membership voluntarily and will not renew. What has happened to a once flawless destination. If the management decides to move on to bigger and better things; there is a McDonalds down the highway, that needs someone to count pickle slices out for each hamburger. The 300.00 check included tip. Will not be going back Cheapskate

The place was fairly empty but I have heard they get busier later, considering the cigar lounge (separate room of course from the restaurant ). When we walked in we asked if there was a kids menu and were told no. However I want to officially state that there ARE kids options on the back of the menu, so do not feel deterred if you have a little one with you! (All pictured )- We ordered the meatballs (perfectly tender with a desirable seasoned sauce). The chicken masala - (great sauce, not overly creamy ), seafood pasta (could have had more seasoning but great portion of the mussels, scallops and shrimp). Lastly - Vinci Salad . When all entrees came out we thought they were small portions. But the bowls are deceiving because we all ended up needing to go boxes ! Sam , the owner came out to say hello, which was a really nice touch. We will try to be back!
