I was also happy about the hot chocolate, as it turned out to be a very cold day. The woman at the counter was very sweet, and she made small talk with us as we shopped. We ended up bringing home some edible Amish goods, one of which was Amish popping corn that I made for some of my students. The pumpkin butter was also quite amazing. This is a must-stop if you are heading to Amish country and want some gifts to bring home.

It is a bright, well lit store that shows the items to their best advantage. There was a demonstration for sewing a fabric Christmas Tree. The salesperson was very patient explaining and answering questions. I was able to find a special rotary cutter that I wanted at a decent price.
