We came on a Sunday evening around 7PM and there was no wait. The bartender was quick and friendly, and gave us recommendations for what to eat and drink. We really enjoyed sharing the shrimp cocktail. For my drink, I ordered the Bee On Your Knees cocktail, which is gin-based. It was my favorite drink of the night. Key Party is dark, stylish, and relaxing--I highly recommend it!

Cute little speakeasy in Vancouver nicely hidden behind the accounting firm look on Main Street. But once you step in, its a nice dimly lit speakeasy that serves great cocktails. We went in around 7pm on a weekday so it wasnt busy. We ordered their Met My Match, The Flamer, Kink & Me So Horny. The drinks are as innovative as their names. We enjoyed our drinks but some drinks like Kink were stricktly okay. Still angood speakeasy to try out.

A fun experience! Set up a meet up and tell your friends to trust the street address. :) Uber has difficulty getting to this place, I'm not sure why - drop off and pick up were weird off so be alert if uber'ing to/from. We went here for a special celebration with 4 friends. We arrived at 6 pm on a Thursday and were able to get seating right away. Those who arrived around 7-8 pm had to wait a while. The bartender was kind and patient, we had a few questions and took a long time to decide. All of our drinks were great, including the non-alcoholic ones. The favourite was the French Tickler - the names are great. We also had the vegan cheese board which was very well received; even the non-vegans approved. Would definitely head here again for a neat night out.

We rolled with the 70s swinger theme with our party of 3. Ok, not really... The first thing my friend said was "Let's do some Jell-O shots!" followed by "Where's the sprinkles on our Jell-O shots?!?" Needless to say, she was bummed our sprinkles were missing. - Slippery when wet (CAD $14): A twist on a gin and tonic. Beautiful purple from the butterfly pea tea! 3/5 - French tickler (CAD $14): A French 75 with sparkling wine. My friend's first time trying this one. She was hooked. 4/5 - Bee on your knees (CAD $15): Meh. I love St Germain, so this was a slam dunk for me, but it didn't really deliver. I left it mostly untouched, and I rarely waste...especially alcohol. 2/5 We had no problem getting in on a Tuesday evening. There were only a few other parties around while we were there.

What a great spot for cocktails and some decent grub. We came here on a Friday night. The unassuming accountants office was the perfect façade for the party behind its walls. The spot takes inspiration from a 70s era swinger or "key party" so all menu items to the decor pulls from that idea. After waiting in the vestibule for about 15 minutes or so, we were ushered in and sat at the bar. It's a small area but well managed. Also the crowd control of hanging out in the vestibule until seats open up kept it COVID safe. We peered over the menu and ordered their Bee on your Knees and French Tickler drinks and an order of their cheese and queso. What a delight! The drinks were super well made and served in a jiffy along with our food! The chips and queso were simple but spot on! Great accompaniment to the drinks. The bartender was super friendly and very attentive. Overall - great time and happy we were able to enjoy!

my foodie adventure con't with a with checking my keys at the key party. very chic and interesting speakeasy with an accountant office front. trust google and your gut to find the place ;) the place is small so there was a bit of a wait - short 10-15min, nothing major but be sure to dress appropriately if there's a line. the drinks were on point and boozy - just the way i like them! i had shades of grey and the french tickler. i most preferred the shades of grey over french tickler - the chambord didn't sit well with me. there're other drinks that caught my eye so i think i need to bring my books to the accountant soon ;)

What a fun experience! The drinks were phenomenal and the vibe is very relaxed and welcoming. I tried the French onion dip with chips as well as the bee drink and espresso martini with a burnt marshmallow. Both were very good and original! Only reason it is 4 stars is because they were very understaffed and it was too dark to read the menu.

Key Party is definitely a cool place to bring your friends; this speakeasy cocktail bar is hidden behind what looks like an OG accounting firm. It actually also has delicious snacks such as tater tots and chips and queso amongst other options. The wait can feel a little bit brutal depending on what time you go. We've come in the early afternoon and got in right away but this past Monday at 10:30 in the evening we ended up waiting for about 30 to 40 minutes. On the bright side you can wait in the accounting office looking area and take pics for your social media, using the Rolodex and Rotary phone. They are cocktails as you suspected are dangerously delicious. This place is also owned by the people who own the Narrow, Uncle Abe's, and the barbeque joint next-door so it definitely had similar vibes to the Narrow - very narrow and dark inside! Fun spot to bring tourists for sure.

We had to wait outside in the vestibule for about 15 minutes until the door opened and a few people left, and we were asked to come in. This was around 6pm on a Friday so it may be more or less of a wait at other times. Once we were seated we ordered our drinks and the queso with chips. We were a group of three so I got to try a variety of drinks. They were all amazing, but by far my favorite was the kir royale Jell-O shots. They were served in adorable little teacups and topped with whip cream. Best Jell-O shots I've ever had!!! The bar has a pretty classy speakeasy vibe, but manages to weave in a funky 70s swingers party theme with sex-themed drink names and a bowl of keys at the entrance.

Key Party is a speakeasy in Vancouver and it's located right beside the Rumpus room. This hidden bar might look like an all business accountant office on the outside but there's nothing but leisure on the inside. After a good 30 min wait outside Key Party, we finally got into the bar and were greeted by a decorative dish of keys as an homage to the key parties that were ever so popular in the 70's. Their menu had three sides to it. One with cocktails, one with beers/wines and the last with a list of snacks. The cocktails here are at a fair price ranging from $11-13 for a 2oz/3oz drink. They offer a handful of wines and beers to choose with a variety of popular selections and craft ones as well. While they do have snacks on their menu, they are on the pricey side for what they are so I would recommend having a bite before coming by or you could always eat at the Rumpus Room located next door. I ordered a melon cocktail. The melon ball came with a welcome skewer of cantaloupe and honey dew on top. I liked this touch because it added sweetness to the slightly bitter tasting cocktail. With absolut citron and melon liqueur, I thought that the drink would be on the sweet side. That's why I was surprised when it tasted strongly of alcohol. I guess I should have expected it from a 2oz drink! Overall I enjoyed the drink and would come again!

This cocktail bar speakeasy is super cute. Everything from its entrance which looks like an accounting firm, to the decor inside once you get in. We came here on a Thursday evening, and it was pretty full. Try to come a little early in case you need to wait for a table to clear - which might be the case on a busy evening. The cocktails were pretty tasty but nothing too complex. Definitely worth a visit once.

Jasmin is a cocktail genius. She made us two of the most amazing cocktails that we've had in the city. We gave her creative freedom with tequila and she nailed it! Chill, dark, cozy, sexy atmosphere. Bottoms up, we'll certainly be back!

Met My Match (tequila, lime, coconut, matcha tea, absinthe) Bee On Your Knees (Ungava, St. Germain, honey syrup, lemon, egg white)
    Jacqueline S.

The speakeasy setting (bar is hidden behind a fake accounting office) and 70's swinger party theme/decor make for a unique experience. The cocktails were unique and delicious as well.

We got a table inside, and the music was extremely loud (think club vibes). The music was amazing, but for the wrong setting. Our group ended up texting one another as we couldn't hear ourselves. Their food was really good, truffle fries are quite rich and flavourful, same with the beef carpaccio. I don't think the menu mentions it comes with these sliced toasted baguettes which were topped with olive oil and balsamic glaze. Service was slightly disappointing as our service was quite flat. Two instances, both not the fault of our server, but the bar had a friend a drink in a dirty glass, she ordered a clear drink but it was brown tinged, and had a weird flavour. Multiple people at the table tried it before we told the server that it seemed off. It was slightly off putting, but our server went back and got a new one for my friend. Second thing, they said they updated their POS so for some reason the person who had the most alcoholic drinks had been put in with a really high autogratuity, but it was strange because everyone else at the party had the regular autograt of 20% I believe and the only person who was drunk ended up getting 30% or something of the sort. Our server again, amazing and took care of it working with the manager who fixed it and came to apologize but the optics of that only happening to the one drunk person if the party, well you know. Kinda left an unsatisfactory taste in everyone's mouths regarding the service. Food was still great and so was our server, and the manager who came to personally apologize about the issue.

Everything on the HH menu is $5 3-6pm and all day Wednesday. We also got the meatball appetizer and the Baccala on toast. Bartender was friendly enough, gave some recommendations where to go for dinner. But then a very large party was being seated at the adjacent restaurant that the bar seems to also serve, and she got tied up pretty bad. We did see a couple come in and wait for a pretty long time and then just take off. And then the bar was closed for this private party at 7pm, and we had sort of planned on a nightcap after dinner in there. Fortunately we found PLENTY of awesome places to go after dinner so it was not an issue. If you're looking for a comfortable, quiet, and cosy bar this is not the place for you. This is a place where Vancouverites get dressed up in their finest dark washed jeans. Am I being facetious - yes I am...but lets face it that's what passes for high fashion in this city. Celebrity sightings are not totally uncommon here, the servers are all friendly and quick to bring your drinks, and you're guaranteed plenty of beautiful people eye-candy. It's also a bar targeting a slightly more mature age group with their larger disposable income - so no annoying teeny boppers knocking back B-52's here and whoohooing it up. One shocking thing I discovered on my last visit to OPUS Bar, was that they aren't allowed to do "real" bottle service there. So if you order a bottle of Goose for the table, be prepared to have your server take it away and bring it back out only when requested or when glasses start to go empty - thankfully Champagne & Wine are exempt from this strange rule.
