I share this because I called 3 other places no one answered and no one ever called me back. Second he was so friendly, kind and compassionate even over the phone! Third I'm writing a unique review because I didn't have any extensive work done on my car. When my car wouldn't start I had it towed to Ambato. I was nervous all day thinking something major and expensive was wrong. In the end it was a dead battery. He didn't even charge me for the inspection. He didn't try to make up issues. He was honest straight forward and I was blown away. Since I had it towed I went ahead and had the oil changed lol for good measure and to give them some business. I do not wish any car issues especially the expensive kind on myself anytime soon but you can trust that if I do I'll be calling Ambato first and settling for no one else. If you want professional, quality, kindness and fast service this is the place. Don't hesitate!

K & M Auto Repair fits the bill of a great repair shop, mechanics, and customer service. I understand why everyone I asked recommended them. I found them to be knowledgeable and experienced about a variety of cars and common issues with them. I dropped off my car around 10 AM because it wouldn't start. It wasn't the battery. By 2 PM the same day, the car was diagnosed and repaired. I found them to be affordable K & M Auto Repair is now my place of choice for car repair. . To my Saturday delight, I interacted with an employee there named Jimmy, who was so helpful and explaining that they took tap payment and how long I had to wait until my car was serviced. He was so pleasant to speak to while I waited, and we shared stories about our careers and just being born and raised in Brooklyn, before I knew it my car was finished! I paid and I was done in less than 20 minutes. A mechanic was even gracious enough to back it out of the shop into oncoming traffic, which I was scared to do! I told them I needed my car back and when they said it was ready to be picked up, the door panel was still removed from the car. I took my car to the dealership to get serviced because these people didn't, and they showed me the door panel was damaged by these mechanics and duck taped back together! These people tried to overcharge me then used duct tape to repair damage that they did to the car. They leave the car outside in an unsecured lot and my car was scratched while in their care.
