I am back for a visit for a Manicure and Pedicure again. They still have the $35 combo and now that includes toe nails design instead of free hand paraffin. I have to say I am more impressed this time because I painted my finger nails and now after 4 days of daily abuse they still look fresh! For the toe nails design hey let you pick from samples and they did such a good job with the artwork. This place is horrible. The lady who runs it Suki is a fool. She's extremely unprofessional. They still write appointments by hand in a book and mess up appointments. You'll have an appt and then still be waiting for an hour for someone to start on you. I noticed their nail polish peels off on the same day like not even a chip - the whole thing peels off. I think their using something to dilute their nail polishes. Bad customer service and they once even got Suki whose not a nail artist to apply the top coat on my nail and she was doing such a horrible job. I told her to stop immediately and she seemed pissed. Like what is that even? Getting a front desk lady to apply top coat? The nail lady should just finish with one customer before hopping on the next. read more

I came here today to get a bio gel colour refill. They were very nice, not busy at noon on a Thursday as only 2 customers were there and 2 came in while I was being serviced. Carol worked on my hands, she was very meticulous and took my instructions to heart which I absolutely admire...and at the end when I found a black smudge on one of the nails she fixed it no questions asked. It's a large space with plentiful staff and they were really nice to charge my phone when I asked. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is that I asked for a bio gel refill but got a uv gel refill instead (as per the tech: that is what they had on hand, but I'm not sure if I understood correctly) and was gonna get charged for bio gel until I pointed out I got UV gel. In an case the difference was only 5 dollars without the tip (bio gel fill = $25 and UV gel fill = $20..not to mention they did a free colour fill). Terrible. I was rushed the minute I walked in. I had an appointment . They were super busy but yet they kept taking people. I'm six month pregnant and was looking forward to it. My nail polish has to be redone on my toes and fingernails because it was terribly done. I could have done a better job myself. I have been going to this nail salon for over a year. Value is great! $25 for a bio gel fill, and you don't have to pay extra for color. Always done nicely and friendly girls. However, I am not so happy lately as they are lacking in gel colours. I usually do pink colours, and all of the popular pinks are gone! They have not restocked the colours since they ran out in the Spring, it is now December! I have mentioned this to the girls, and also to the owner Kevin, and still no pinks. Since I only do gel on my nails I have had to start using different colours, but I still miss the pink. Sad because this place is great and great value. I have started going to Regal Nails in Walmart , they gave a lot if StOCKED color, especially pink! But more expensive, $35. I hope they get their act together and listen to customers, I would love to go back when they restock popular colours. read more

The tech told me she was tired, she didn't know what she was doing - didn't know how to do pedi, shape nails, apply nail polish and they are all out of most of the shellac nail polish which they don't tell you before hand. Terrible terrible customer service. No love in the service and no care good customer service. Lady was in a super rush to finish my nails and I had to remind her to do a few key steps in my manicure (second coat/ clean under the nails/ clean after polish), which was met with a distasteful facial expression. Then I complained to the lady in charge while paying and she just nodded grim faced and took my money. Came here for the first time today. The price was good $30 for mani and pedicure. They have about 6 or 7 girls working and seem to be constantly busy with walk ins. My advice is to go to pay the extra $5 to go to another nail salon that will do a better job. First off, they have a very limited colour selection and not even good quality nail polishes like OPI or Essie. The place didn't seem too clean and I wasn't too sure if the girl doing my mani/pedi even cleaned her tools from her previous client; as she just took them out of her drawer. My pedicure was ok but I've had better. When she started my manicure that's when things went down hill. It may have been the colour I had chosen but she put suck thick layers and did a bad paint job that were air bubbles appearing on my nails as they were drying. I asked her to redo the nails which she did but rushed because she wanted to take the next walk in client. I wish I can give 0, the experience has been absolute garbage, made appointment for 1pm and I've been sitting here for an hour and every time we asked how much longer it's going to take they keep brushing us off. I got my nails done today, thinking that because of all the negative reviews they would fix up but apparently they're still the SHITTEST nail salon I've ever been too. Not only was they're customer service disgusting but she left HAIR in my nails and CUT me. I discovered this place after my regular nail salon changed ownership and did a terrible job on my acrylic nails. I work near Nails for You and couldn't stand to look at my ghetto nails any longer, so I headed over on my lunch hour. And I am so happy I did! My tech's name is Lee and she is fantastic!! She took a lot of time correcting the mistakes made by my old salon and I walked out with the most beautiful nails ever! I have been going back to see Lee ever since! I had the WORST experience in my life! I had an appointment for a mani-pedi along with a number of other other women who were booked for the same time slot and were not happy about having to wait for someone to attend to them. A few women were left to sit and wait. When I finally had someone come and start on my pedicure she cut a portion of my big toe! I couldn't believe it. She completely took a chunk out of my toe. Suffice it to say, I was bleeding profusely! In all my years of getting mani-pedis this has NEVER happened to me before, nor have I ever heard of this happening to anyone else. I had to stop the girl from continuing with my pedicure and get me a bandaid. I immediately told the owner what happened. He had the nerve to justify this by saying that it happens sometimes and that the "girls' were so busy and never had a break!! BEWARE! Love this place. Clean, friendly, and quick! I work across the street and I always sneak here on my lunch breaks. Kevin is always so helpful, helping clients choose the best color for their skintone. Love him :) Great shellac mani that hasn't chipped going into week 2! It's also really packed. I made an appointment to come at 6:30 on a Wed but I had to wait 30 min! Minus a star for that.. should be more but they made up for it in service. Kevin ,the receptionist (and manager?) was very nice He was also adamant that he wouldn't mark my deal as used until I was a satisfied customer. They have a nice massage chair while you pedi. Pedi is very good- I had Kelly with the dark blonder hair. She was polite and quick. I did the standard pink color on my toes (Essie: Minimalist), and it was a good, no frills, standard experience. The shellac mani is nice and doesn't take much longer than a regular. You use your idle drying time to stick it under the light (which I'm sure has a ton of UV rays, probably),The color I chose was new and nice Kelly ,she's pretty good . I went to this spa today for the first time, might I say WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. The lady that did my nails, was very disrespectful, really aggressive and complaining about me to the other ladies IN CHINESE. I SPEAK CHINESE, that she probably didn't know. This place is so sketchy. They have no signs of their pricing and every time i go they try to tell me a different price. My gel refil changes from $25 to $35 whenever they feel like it. And polish change on feet is never more than $10 (even though that alone is over priced) they tried to charge me $12-$15 Someone should make sure they have a sign of prices up somewhere because what they are doing is not legit. read more

Went for a manicure/pedicure combo for $35. Pedicure appeared good (except they put so much lotion/oil on your feet that the nail polish does not stay on and takes forever to dry). A month later, I ended up with ingrown toenails on both of my big toes. Not happy. Manicure was okay. Saturday I had gel nails done for $40. The first technician brushed me off halfway through to take another client that wanted her to do her nails. I was not impressed but went along with it as this technician (Kim?) kept shaking out my hands roughly because she said they were too 'stiff' for her to work on. She was quite rude. The 2nd technician was much nicer and finished putting the gel on my nails. However, the next day, I noticed there were a lot of pits in my nails along the side where the gel did not get put on. My nails also have a 'wavy' reflection because the gel is uneven. Went to get a new set of gel overlay put on my real nails. From the moment the nail technician started, I was skeptical that she knew what she was doing... What should have taken at least 45 minutes ended up being over an hour getting it done. The finished results were disgusting.. The gel was so thickly applied it looked horrible. By the next week I could see small bubbles under my nails. I went to another place to get them refilled and was so upset to know that there was moisture between my real nails and the gel that could have done severe damage. I would never go back to get anything done at their salon. read more

Went in today for gel full set and a pedicure and manicure for my mom. The lady who worked on me was not friendly at all, yet the staff seemed very friendly to those who were regulars. However, since my mom and I were new clients, there wasn't conversation or care about us. One of my Gel nails is crooked and on a few you can see where she attached the tip, so the nail is different colours and does not look good. When I asked her about it she told me that my nail was that way and did not bother to fix it. The lady who worked on my mother for the pedicure and manicure rushed the entire job - did not do the pedicure properly and my moms nails are filed in different angles and her french tips were not done properly. We definitely DID NOT tip and WILL NOT be going back to this place. It is sad how we were not treated well since we could see that they showed a lot of care to their regular customers. I've been going to Nails for You for about 3 years. Initially, I was very impressed with the quality of the mani/pedi services for the prices. It is $35 for a mani/pedi combo. However, lately they have become far worse and I am sincerely disappointed. The most recent time I went, I have made an appointment for me and a friend, both of us for gel refills at 10:30. My friend wasn't seen until 10:40 and they had me waiting for over an hour. After waiting for an hour and not even being seated, I gave up because I had another appointment for shortly later. I was incredibly disappointed because I had made an appointment and walkins who arrived after me were being seen before me. I often find that even when I make an appointment they have me waiting for long periods of time to be seen. They are relatively good quality, though. the quality of the service very much depends on the person who you are seeing and some of the girls give amazing mani/pedis whereas other girls are not as enjoyable. I do notice that when I go there for gels, I always leave with cuts on the skin around my nails, which you have to be careful with and clean thoroughly when you get home. this is not the first time i have received services. I had in the past approximately 15-16 months came for the pedicure;.....In that time period very early on i had experienced a long wait(half an hour) for my appointed time......................... I did inform them of my discontent and they apologized and since I was not in a hurry i decided to return for pedicures ................... I subsequently got a fungal infection which I have never had and I have been going for pedicures for over 30 years! Anyway since I cannot prove where it came from I decided once more to give them a chance and made an appointment................. I made an appointment for two services. Pedicure-- which i had to wait for 20 minutes--I did attempt to inquire..no response Body massage-- I noted she(Janet who was to do my body massage) just started another client(walk in) and said nothing to me--I asked another operator (Kim who just did my ped.) and Janet and both said, " I don't know,you ask the manager" ."Although she(MGR) knew i was wanting to ask her, she avoided me until i spoke rather loudly and still I did that and got a response. I wondered if I needed to speak Chinese to get some communication as the communication in that place ( a very large place) was continuously loud with the Chinese language amongst the staff. Finally i had to raise my pitch even louder to get the manager to respond and this time she did. i said i need someone to communicate to me to let me know how long i should wait to get my appointed service to which she replied that I have to wait till Janet finished her walk in- client . I then dragged out of her the approximate time and was asked to come back in one hour!!!! I told her that i would never come back there for any more services as they seem to not have good business practices. I see this business as unethical without regard to commitments and grabbing walk in customers even at the risk of losing others . Their unethical business practices may give them more revenue in the short run,but will serve to diminish their clientele and run their business to the ground. I would not recommend this place to anyone who values their time and respect to be treated fairly and communicated with. read more

What a dump!!! I walked in and asked if they could take me for a pedi (I didn't have an appointment). She agreed and ran the tub for soaking. I sat there soaking my feet for about 15 minutes taking in the surroundings. No sign of sterilizing of equipment, files are reused, clippers are reused and not sterilized, towels are rags, etc. The staff can just barely speak english - listening to them banter back and forth amongst one another made it sound like a hen house. How annoying. A pedicure is supposed to be a relaxing treat. Anyway I asked the lady how much longer it would be. Coppo minute - coppo minute was her response. 10 more minutes passed and still nothing. I took the rag, dried my feet and walked out - never to return. I had fear of catching something from their dirty equipment. I drove along Highway 7 to McCowan and found another spa. Absolutely gorgeous and very reasonable. read more
