They were also the most expensive out of three companies considered. In response to Intown's reply: We did pay $600 more to fix the hidden trim work. We didn't feel it was right to pay an additional $1,000 for that and other items addressed in the estimate. As for changing the scope of the project, the recommended paint did not perform as described by Intown. We could not see our way clear to pay an additional $1,400 on a $14,000 job. We used to be one of those 1,400 satisfied customers. Sorry we could not work this out.

He assured me a member of the team would arrive soon with an estimate and even invited me to call him personally if I didn't hear from the team soon. There was no need, I received an email and a call later that day. Russ showed up the next day and provided an estimate for the project. While I had him there, I showed him some other issues with the house that had been on my "to-fix list" and he provided an estimate for those projects as well. The cost was exactly what I expected, and I gave him the go ahead to schedule workers ASAP. They came within a few days, even though it was all happening around the Thanksgiving holiday. Jose and another roofer (sorry, I didn't catch his name) showed up early for the appointment but waited out front until the appointed time. They were courteous, kind (even to my very excited dog), and had the problem fixed in no time. They even installed additional flashing to the second skylight (which hadn't yet started leaking) just as a precaution, free of charge. The office staff were just as kind and professional as the roofers. I worked with Deb Burris who helped me with billing and scheduling. The interface for billing was simple, the contracts and estimates were clear and easy to understand, and she was very knowledgeable and responsive over texts, emails and calls. I will certainly be calling them again soon for those other household projects. I recommend using them if you have any home improvement or repair needs.

He educated me on the problem (and I say this as someone who doesn't know the first thing about carpentry) and then essentially showed me it was an unnecessary repair. He said he could fix it for a certain number, but it wasn't necessary. The man saved me thousands of dollars and earned my trust. He clearly knows what he's doing. In July, I discovered that we had serious wood rot issues and reached out to several contractors. Ezequiel was not the least expensive but I recognized immediately his absolute dedication to doing quality work. Oddly, he doesn't put his contracts in writing and normally that would be a nonstarter for me ... especially with fronting half of the $ up front! But I reached out to former customers and you just get a sense of Ezequiel's integrity when talking with him . We shook hands on the deal and it was one of the best decisions ever. Ezequiel told me up front that I likely had additional wood rot that I hadn't yet discovered. Our upfront deal included replacing all the cosmetic (not structural) wood rot on the house, building brand new shutters, and painting the house. Structural wood rot discovered wood be separate. He did indeed find major structural wood rot and his price to fix that was very fair. I really feel that someone without Ezequiel's integrity would have gouged me on that. I was so pleased with the work that we did another handshake deal to build out a screened in patio under my deck. Overall my wife and I are thrilled with the work and recommend Ezequiel to everyone. The key differentiator with him is the pride in the work. He doesn't cut corners when the customer would never know. He would know . He wants the work to be done thoroughly and right.

He worked with my budget and overall was easy to work with. I had some challenges with his team's arrival times not being consistent, and the timeline seemed to take longer than originally expected, but these things happen during renovations and in the end wasn't a huge deal. The entire project took about a week. The final fit and finish were well done, the grout work and glass install were clean and impeccably installed. Finally, a small issue we found with the install was addressed in a timely manner.
