I had two "vintage" windows replaced in my basement room. Kevin was responsive, professional, and gave me a quote that was a fraction of some others. He arrived right on time both for the initial inspection and the install (which he did himself). The final product is excellent. Added to that, he's just an all around nice person. He will be my go-to guy for all future jobs. read more

Kevin is a wonderful guy. Did the best job I can imagine, replacing the glass on two difficult windows in our old house. I got four bids and his was the lowest. A really great experience. Thank you Kevin and thank you Yelp. read more

I was able to set up an appointment relatively quickly with Kevin and he came out and appraised the situation. Less than a week later he came over and fixed my window so it wouldn't leak again. The window is old and will eventually need to be replaced. But hopefully the relatively inexpensive fix he did will extend its lifetime awhile longer. He was careful, efficient and tidy. He explained everything to me. When it does come time to replace the window, I intend to have him do it. read more

Fairly priced and easy to work with. Very happy with my repaired windows. Would recommend.

Kevin and his team are awesome. They did 3 front and 3 back windows for us. He is super knowledgeable, efficient and nice to be around. He came and measure and helped us choose the right windows for front and back of house (without needing to pull permits), scheduled the install date and routinely checked in with updates on where the windows were in the manufacturing process and then they installed all of them in one day. Would 100% use again and recommend. read more

Kevin was awesome! My double pane window broke at home and he was able to come in same day to get the measurements for the glass and then came back a week later for the final installation! It took him less than 45 minutes! Very impressed by this since he seems like the type of guy who really knows what he's doing vs all the others quoting me for way too much $$$ and insisted on a new window while Kevin was able to repair what was only necessary. Thank you so much again! Would definitely recommend. read more

Kevin saved the day! I had been looking for a while to find someone to fix the sash on my Marvin window. The glass was perfectly fine so I didn't want to replace it. Kevin was quick to respond and came out to measure and order the replacement sash and then he followed up with the replacement. He was professional from the beginning to the end. I highly recommend him. read more

Kevin is the best!!! He came highly recommended by a half dozen coworkers who had Kevin put all new windows in their homes. We had Kevin come by and look at our older home in great need of new windows. His expert advice was more than we were expecting and he helped us do more that select new windows. His design gave us a custom window solution forever changing the value and function of our home. Kevin replaced every window in our large home and installed a massive custom picture window where a smaller window had once been. His install was perfection! Every visitor to our home walks directly over to our new custom picture window and can't take their eyes off the view. Best decision we ever made. I highly recommend Kevin. You cant beat the quality of his work. read more

Last month I had a dryrot problem on parts of 2 west facing windows. Called Kevin, after seeing a recommendation on Nextdoor.com, for an estimate. He came by the same day and his estimate was very reasonable. He was able to do the work the next day with spray primed wood, which made it easier for me to paint. I would use him again for any window issue I might have. read more

Kevin just finished installing our new replacements today, we couldn't be happier with results so I wanted to give a review before I forget. Our downstairs neighbor and us decided to replace all the windows in the front facade of our Edwardian building all told 9 rather large windows. We did our research and decided on using Kevin to make custom replacement insert windows. Their bid was lower than a competitor's and did a good job explaining how the tilt inserts work, so we went with him. After the windows were delivered we painted them ourselves and contacted Kevin to schedule installation in about a week's time. The installation only took 2 days for all the windows; first day was the actual install (so tye rooms were usable immediately) 2nd day was just putting on the trim so you would never know they weren't original. The craftsmanship is great, and they were courteous and tidy to boot. They also took care of applying for the permit with the city, which is a nice touch. We would recommend Kevin's company to anybody! read more

Just had these guys fix 2 windows for me in Noe Valley. GREAT JOB! They gave me the quickest quote Ive ever received (literally 15 minutes after I left a message). Really wonderful to deal with. Very professional, honest and friendly. My husband wants to break a window just so he can see them again! Thank you. Good contractors are hard to find! read more

Highly recommend. Reputable contractors are difficult to find in SF and Kevin is a great exception. Kevin did a fabulous job on my windows and has competitive rates. He always answers his phone and emails. He did the job in the date he committed to and for the contract price. No surprises. Beautiful Mulgard windows that meet the San Francisco uv requirements. He even gave me all the paper work to get a promotion that Milgard was running so I could get back $25 on each window purchased. He is a nice, family man. What we Jews call a mench. A good guy. Thanks Kevin read more

Same day service! Kevin asked for some photos, and based on those, quickly diagnosed my window problem. After a quote, he visited to measure the replacement parts, and checked to see if they were in stock. 30 minutes later, he was quickly fixing my issue. Fast, friendly, and efficient! read more

Kevin was a great find. We had a thermal pane window that had split. He communicated well, was on time for his appointment, and did an excellent job. I'll use Kevin in future for any window or glass issues I may have. read more

Talk about outstanding service! He returned my call the next day and had a job nearby so stopped by after, measured my window to be replaced and explained he was also looking to see if it was crooked from building settling. He told me he'd order the window that day and it would arrive in 2-3 weeks. It did, and he installed it Perfectly! I was worried about the edge around the window and he told me I'd paint any touch ups. It's perfect, no need for paint and you wouldn't know it's a replacement, looks like it's part of my 105 year plus unit!!! Thanks Kevin! read more

Talk about responsive! On a Saturday morning, one of the panes on our multi-lite front door was broken, presumably by someone trying to get into the house. Kevin was always ready for our text questions on Saturday and Sunday and he came out promptly on Monday morning, doing a great repair job. read more

If only every home repair experience was as great as this one!! We reached out to Kevin after an unfortunate incident which left us with a broken window over a weekend. Kevin responded quickly (no one else on yelp was even available on a Sunday morning), and within 2 hours of contacting him was already at our house measuring the frame for fitting, and provided a very reasonable quote. While we had to cancel the job a couple of days later, Kevin was extremely gracious and kind! I won't hesitate in the future to contact him for window replacements and recommend him to others! read more

I give Kevin 2 stars for being so very courteous. He came immediately when I called him and even went to a store for me to replace a balance in a sliding window. Unfortunately he installed the wrong balance and now (2 months later) I have a slider that has a broken mechanism, two broken balances and triple the expense. Putting in the wrong balance caused the entire mechanism to fail, according to the window expert I hired. read more

Kevin has been great to work with. Our lower unit got broken into when we were on vacation. It was very stressful thinking that there was an opening in our house for anyone to get in. So we found Kevin on yelp, called him and explained the situation. That day, he stopped by to board up the window and make our unit as secure as possible until we got home. When we returned to SF, we discussed various window replacement options. Since most windows require 4-5 weeks to order and we needed a working window in the bedroom while my parents are in town, he helped us nail together the broken sash and filled in the glass area with temporary plywood. That way, it is operable for emergency egress and relatively secure until the new window shows up. Great experience overall! read more

Got a referral from a friend for this business. Kevin himself showed up to help my parents install some new windows. I had a couple other companies come out to bid and I could tell they didn't really have the skill level to deal with the complexity of old Victorians. I knew right away Kevin was a professional by his demeanor and confidence. I immediately committed to going with him. We could not have been happier. they were quick efficient and professional. Most importantly they cleaned up when they were done. thank you so much Kevin. I will be referring you business for life. read more

Everything about working with Kevin was amazing and outstanding on every level: He returned my initial phone call in less than an hour, gave me the best price quote for my cracked window of all the quotes I received and offered to come by the next day. He was right on time, the window he ordered for me arrived within just a few days and he returned to install it just as quickly, courteously and without a trace in my apartment.
