I'm a person of principle, and I believe it's important to recognize when people genuinely care about their behavior and the quality of service they provide. I have agreed to move forward with the treatment (though I haven't started yet). Then, I sat down in the lobby patiently awaiting to get my name called. A little later, another gentleman came in and told the front desk that he had a 2:45 appointment, and he did pretty much the same things as I did. After another 5 minutes or so, his name got called and he went inside. I didn't give it much thought thinking he could be seeing a different doctor than mine. Then later, another old lady came in for her appointment, I didn't hear what she said about her appointment time, and she got called rather quickly, but I was still waiting. After half an hour of waiting, my patience was running out, so I went to the front desk and asked them why people who had come after me went in before me. Well, my complaint kinda worked, my name got called and I was put into a room to wait. While I was waiting, I heard a doctor speak to a patient in an adjacent room, and it was a female doctor. I happened to know that my doctor was a female too. So I patiently waited for a good 5-10 minutes, and when I had a pretty good idea that the doctor was done with the patient and was walking out, I opened my door and saw the gentleman with the 2:45 appointment accompanied by a female doctor, who was the very same doctor that would finish me with my consultation in a few minutes. At that point, I was beyond being upset, but I kept my cool. Before I left, I requested a meeting with their office manager who patronized me with some bogus reasons that the front desk young lady was new, it was her 2nd day at work, lack of training, blah, blah, blah. Come on, I had been waiting in the lobby for over half an hour, and she was obviously the more senior one than the other dude. What really troubles me is why they would arrange not to see me with an appointment at 2:30 for a 5-minute consultation, instead they chose to see a patient with an appointment at 2:45 1st for a half an hour visit. Could it be that they enjoyed keeping a foreigner-looking individual waiting as he didn't look he belonged in the 1st place? That I don't really know, I certainly hope not. But isn't it an interesting time in which we live. Full disclosure: I am a Chinese, the gentleman is either a hispanic or southern Asian, the lady is white.

Today I was really impressed by Dr. Bemanian's office because they called me even though my insurance is no longer taken there to remind me to get my follow up colonoscopy and make sure that I got the treatment that I need to stay healthy.

This place is well maintained and clean, which is a plus for sanitary reasons. As soon as it was my turn, it was quick. I received excellent care, the other day. Great customer service. It gets packed at various times, throughout the day. My advice, if you're planning it ahead, make an appointment. It's better that way. If you don't have an appointment, depending on time of day, plan to wait. I always have a positive outcome, here. There is ample parking, but look out for pedestrians everywhere, when driving. Enough said.....

The nurse was trying her hardest to make me feel better. 3:30 is when the doctor saw me. I asked her why was I told to come early when she couldn't see me in time. I've dealt with Mary GRACE, Julie, and they could care less of my health condition. They basically said that with different words . Dr. Jim Chou is an excellent doctor, however, I can never talk to him because the staff won't give messages and I was told he never returns calls. Again the doctor is a great doctor he should clean house and get new staff in the Fountain Valley office.
