I am virtually pain free. I went to her with severe pain in my SI joints and lower back, as well as knee pain. I also had bad IBS symptoms. Sanja is the best! I've known her and her beautiful family for quite some time now, so decided to treat the husband and I for massages at their new location. First of all, the location: SO FRIGGIN AWESOME! It's a house, vintage and beautiful on the outside. Inside: spacious, decorated with vintage furniture and a small sales area with Palo Santo, teas and other herbs for wellness! I booked our sessions separately so I was dropped off and enjoyed a much needed 90 minute "Healing Touch" massage and did the CBD add on. Soo amazing. Sanja explains the process and does her magic with care. Please make sure you communicate skin sensitivities as the products she uses are brilliant, and organic. I was compelled to seek-out Kevala W & A since my current chiropractor screwed-up my scheduling for the weekend that I needed massage treatment (i.e., this is what happens when a pack of college-aged TikTok babies runs the receptionist's desk at your chiropractor's office--LOL). I could not be happier with Sanja's treatment. I am currently at the tail-tip of my recovery from a Grade 1 Anterolisthesis (between L5 and S1 vertebrae) that I suffered back in Summer 2017. The issues I currently have include: stiff/tense hip flexors & extensors, IT bands, quads, hamstrings, calves, Achilles' tendons, ankles and the balls and heels of my feet, where all these areas experience varying fascia levels of rock-hard or achey stiffness. I enjoy plenty of different types of massages from Kspa, reflexology, thai... the list goes on. What was special about the Signature massage is Nancy was fully present and intentional in her healing. OMG! This place is a life saver! I was experiencing severe vertigo (& for anyone who doesn't know what that's like...it's like being spun around 100x to the point where you can barely see straight. It's horrible)...and unfortunately I had lots of work to do & no time for vertigo. So I called Kevala & luckily I was able to get a last minute ear candling appointment with Sanja. Thank God! Upon arriving at Kevala, the space was clean, quiet & exuded a super relaxing peaceful vibe. I was quickly greeted by Sanja who was extremely sweet, calming & professional. She went over my symptoms with me before walking me thru the ear candling process (since it was my first time trying the process). During the treatment, she was very gentle & accommodating to my needs. The whole process lasted roughly 30mins & wasn't painful (like I had expected) but instead was actually very relaxing. After leaving Kevala, I went home & my whole body was somehow so relaxed that I immediately fell into a 6hr nap (which is usually impossible for me to accomplish due to insomnia)...and when I woke up, my vertigo was GONE! It was like magic!!! I was so so so so so happy & grateful for Sanja & her nurturing energy & ability to clear my ears of whatever was causing the vertigo! Sanja is one of the most amazing healers I have had the pleasure of experiencing! To call her a body worker or massage therapist seems so limiting for the kind of healing you will receive from her. I just had a lovely treatment the day after running a half marathon, she used the perfect amount of pressure in all of the different areas that were very sore. I could feel her undoing the lymph blockages behind my knees and the increased blood flow after. You will feel so relaxed and cared for in the most caring of ways, from the discreet way she drapes you, to the comforting way that her hand will be holding your arm or leg while her other hand massages away the tension. Sanja isn't just a 'masseuse'. She is a living kindness. She is a gift. I have been getting a massage from Sanja once a month for the last 10 months. I started only hoping for monthly relaxation. However, I am beyond grateful that she has helped relieve my migraines to a monumental extent. I used to get them once every two weeks. Bad ones that lasted for days and made it hard to do anything at all. I used to go to a completely dark room, put in sound proof ear plugs, and sometimes even cry from the pain. Because of the blessing of Sanja, I am down to one migraine every 2 months and now, when I get them, they are manageable. I can still work. I can often treat them with just over the counter medication. So here I am, 10 months later, and whenever I open my medicine cabinet, I look at the prescription with horrible side effects and think, "I don't have to take those anymore". That's because of Sanja. She is also such a lovely person who is so great to be around. She is a true healer and cares so greatly for me and my well being. It's also pretty amazing how she reads my muscles, finds little knots and aches, and works them out. All the while, I can also feel where my migraines normally are and I feel them slowly pulse away.
