Love this local gem…read more I'm slowly replacing all my seasonings with their products (with the exception of some Persian food seasonings like sumac which I still get from Sadaf). Friendly and helpful people working here and a nice bottle recycling program. If you are anywhere near 24th St. enjoy cooking, I do recommend stopping by. Both their standard seasonings and special blends have been great.

From the thoughtfully crafted small batch spices to the warm, welcoming feel of the space, you can tell how much care goes into everything they do. One of the owners I've met always remembers me, which instantly makes each visit feel personal and genuine. I also love that they offer two different spice sizes, which makes it easy to try new blends without committing to a large jar. Over the holidays, their spices became my go to gifts and they were a huge hit. Another favorite is their San Francisco series, a collection of curated blends inspired by nine of the city's most iconic neighborhoods. They also create and share recipe cards for many of their blends, which makes it easy and fun to actually use them at home. Everyone I've interacted with has been friendly and knowledgeable, and it's clear the people behind this shop truly love what they do. This is exactly the kind of local business I enjoy supporting and recommending.

I would go to corner candy store for each school to buy my favorite candies through my formative years. Candies were also part of celebrations in the Mission involving a piñata .As an adult you will see me at See's when I get a sweet tooth craving. There is a place which sells chocolate from Switzerland and the Philippines and if you are sour because it's Monday or just everyday of the week in SF you should visit a place called Giddy. On Spring stroll in my old school stomping grounds I walked on Noe street and landed on Market at Giddy. Inside it's a candy store with lots of variety of gummies and licorice along with some international chocolate from the Ecuador and the Philippines. What you will also find a lot of varieties of candies which are very sour like some in SF. You will find lots of sour fizzy chewy cherries along sour mango belts. You will also find the classic sour cherry balls and berry sour foamy and sour strawberry and lemon butterflies along with a favorite from Sweden known as Bubs which is a sour strawberry and lemons skull gummy. Giddy is a good place to get sweet or sour. Sour is how you "felt" on a Monday when the chocolate in your pocket on a hot day "melt" and the best way in the past how it was "dealt" is go grab for a sour "gummy cherry belt" On Market street there lots of places for foods I have "eaten"some want on a cheat day a place for some "cheatin" at a place with chocolate from Ecuador , Philippines and Switzerland which is a bit "sweeten" and some like it sour like the strawberry and lemon skulls called Bubs which are from "Sweden"

Serving a wide range of carnival and fair foods, you'll definitely satisfy your sweet tooth cravings year-round. The husband and I ordered the Churro Parfait, Mini Funnel Cake, and Hand-Dipped Corndog. The Churro Parfait was delish with bite size churros mixed with their house-made cream, caramel, and fresh strawberries. The Mini Funnel Cake was yummy, as well. Loved how crispy yet chewy it was. Both the parfait and funnel cake were sweet, so the corndog and nachos helped to balance it out. All in all, staff and service was good. Portion sizes were shareable with my husband. A little pricey, but worth trying out if you're a fan of carnival food.

The cookie was so yummy like a maple butterscotch sugar cookie. They had a mushroom stew plate available too. The store doesn't provide seating but there are tables within the Ferry Building that are open to everyone to use. There were so many varieties of mushrooms which I'm not familiar with though. Would be fun if they posted recipe QRL code next to exotic types on how to cook them. Would probably help sales too. They had little craft kit ($7) to grow a handful of mushrooms at home on newpaper in a few weeks. I think the kit would be fun for kids! And a larger kit available to harvest 2 pounds of mushrooms but they were out of the large kit when I went. They had many fresh and dried mushrooms available even fresh white and black truffle! Parking across the street was easy at ProPark located at Washington and Embarcadero. Make sure to ask for the validation sticker to save some money.
