She answered all my questions in detail as I was ready to go from there. I needed same day wash and fold service and booking was very easy. They arrived and returned clothes when they said they would and clothes were neatly folded, smelled amazing and I was extremely happy with my experience from beginning to end. I ask for no starch and almost without fail my shirts are not starched, but still well ironed. Some cleaners use a machine to press dress shirts and it causes a lot of broken buttons. In all the years I have been a customer here (over 14 years!!!) I've only had one or two buttons to be broken and even then they made sure to replace them. The prices are very reasonable and most days you can get same-day service even if you don't make it in before nine. They also do a good job with dry cleaning although the prices are higher then discount places like Zips, but the quality and care they take with your clothes is more than worth the extra price. This cleaners really excels at alterations and specialty items like formal wear. The seamstress is a master at measuring and sewing. The staff is always nice without fail and they have never lost or damaged an item of my clothing. Would that they had longer hours, but even 7:30 PM is more than reasonable. From the outside it appears to be clean, inviting, and never busy. Once I arrived, it was very clean, smelled good, organized, excellent service from the staff, and it was very spacious. Bonus to this place is that it is not coin operated. You will need to purchase a laundry card and add the funds . . . how neat! In hindsight the machine in my building not working saved me from walking up & down the steps and only doing 2 loads at a time. I arrived at 11 and was back home by 1:35 and that was after washing, folding, putting clothes in bag, and walking to the carry-out and liquor store. He then told me to move my clothes to a different machine and I was trying to explain to him that I already put the soap in the machine and he just kept repeating "move it to another machine then proceed to yell at me "what did I say!?" and that I don't listen and started pulling his ear while yelling at me that I don't listen. That was utterly rude...I am not his child and there was no reason for him to get loud and disrespectful with me.

And just a brief word on the location. Some people might hear the words Addison Road S. and Capital Heights and have negative connotations. Well leave those preconceived notions at the door. I understand the business to be black-owned and you can tell from the outset that the owner has not shortchanged the African American community by any means and has provided a first rate, quality facility that would be the envy of ANY community. It even has Wi-Fi--although I haven't actually made use of it yet. Pleasant background music which to me means old school R&B.
