I especially want to recognize the incredible care our kitty received over the years. Dr. Murayama provided amazing treatment when she helped save Autumn's tail three years ago, and she continued to compassionately care for our elderly kitty through hyperthyroidism, a heart murmur, and kidney disease. Dr. Anderson also stepped in whenever Dr. Murayama was unavailable and was equally caring, thoughtful, and helpful. Yesterday, we sadly had to help our almost 17-year-old kitty cross the Rainbow Bridge. Unfortunately, I have been through this experience before, but the compassion and kindness we received yesterday made this the most comforting experience possible during such a heartbreaking time. I called Wednesday night just before closing and spoke with Liz, who was incredibly kind and attentive while listening to all of my concerns. She explained that Dr. Murayama would not be in the next day, Dr. Anderson was fully booked, and Dr. Chatterson had a full surgery schedule, but she promised to see what could be done. Thursday morning, just 10 minutes before they opened, Liz called to let us know that Dr. Chatterson would fit us into his schedule. When I called back, I spoke with Jenni, who already knew exactly what was happening because she had been with Liz when she called. She confirmed the appointment time we requested and reassured us that if Autumn's condition worsened before then, we could come in sooner and they would absolutely work with us. She also thoughtfully suggested that we call when we arrived so she could bring us through a side entrance, allowing us privacy instead of having to sit in the lobby while emotional. When we arrived, Jenni met us at the side door just as promised. Dr. Chatterson explained every step of the process with kindness and compassion. He even sat on the floor in front of us so I could continue holding my baby while he administered the medication as she peacefully made her journey to the Rainbow Bridge. I could go on with even more details, but I have already written so much. I simply cannot thank this hospital, the doctors, and the entire staff enough for the extraordinary compassion, care, and support they have shown our family over the years and especially during one of the hardest moments we've faced. I said the poor dog is suffering from the cough and the cough medicine helps. She would not prescribe another bottle of cough pills. I went on line and purchased the same cough pills medicine, 250 pills. Now my dog is not coughing as before. I understand he has lung cancer and may not live long. At the visit, I was told Cascade does not have a veterinary ophthalmologist and that I would need to see an ophthalmology specialist for surgical repair. I was charged $111 for the exam, but the outcome was essentially a referral that could have been made clear before I came in. I'm also concerned about the guidance I received: I was told there was a "50/50 chance" surgery wouldn't work, yet board-level ophthalmology resources commonly cite higher success rates for gland replacement/repositioning (often called a "pocket" technique) and describe recurrence as a known possibility--not a coin flip. For example, Colorado State's veterinary ophthalmology service lists 85-90% success for cherry eye repair, and VCA notes ~5-20% risk of re-prolapse requiring additional surgery. My main concern: The hospital was NOT transparent on the phone about whether they can actually perform cherry eye surgery in-house (especially if it requires a specialist). If I had known the expected outcome is referral to ophthalmology, I would have avoided unnecessary exam fees and go directly to the right provider.

I was a long-term client, and I know exactly who I was dealing with and the guidance I received. An employee told me the vet who assisted me was the owner. Attempting to discredit my experience over that detail feels evasive rather than accountable. Dismissing my account as "erroneous" without addressing the actual outcomes is troubling. I was given advice, that I later learned through a second opinion, was inappropriate and ridiculous... and in at least one case, dangerously wrong. That is not a misunderstanding; that is a failure in the care Inglemoor provided. Yes, I have the correct location. Anything incorrect I said was because it was information given to me by your employees. You state that you don't "insist" on treatments, yet the pressure I experienced happened. You claim not to offer or promote certain therapies, yet they were explicitly presented to me. You describe medications as readily available and inexpensive, yet I repeatedly struggled to obtain them and saw poor results while being told the condition was effectively "untreated." These are not abstract complaints, these are my experiences. Rather than acknowledging that I may have had a genuinely poor and even harmful experience, your response suggests I must be wrong. ORIGINAL REVIEW: I caution everyone against considering Inglemoor Animal Hospital. My cats suffered needlessly and I strongly feel I was misled and pressured into unnecessary, inappropriate treatments and costs. Not everyone can afford a 2nd opinion but I'm glad I could. While some vets at Inglemoor were kind and well-meaning over the years... the owner, who was my primary vet, gave advice that was not only unhelpful but may have caused serious harm to my cats. She pushed pseudoscientific treatments like acupuncture, misdiagnosed dental issues (recommending unnecessary surgery), and dismissed the need for special kidney diet food for my elderly cat who did in fact have kidney disease, (which was later confirmed by another vet.) They insisted on radioactive iodine treatment for my elderly cat's hyperthyroidism. But due to the cat's advanced age, I went with the less invasive option of medicating daily. Getting it was a pain (at times it was out of stock,) the expensive medication did not control the issue as expected. After many months, I was told her condition was being documented as untreated. That statement made me furious, and finally decide to go elsewhere for care. I got a second opinion from a far more competent veterinarian who corrected these misdiagnoses and actually demonstrated the reasoning behind their care plan. I'm deeply frustrated I had to go elsewhere to get proper help. The cat with hyperthyroidism passed away from extensive undiagnosed cancer shortly after their first exam with the new vet. It was too late for them to help. My surviving cat is having a much better time under the care of a different vet.

She had already been to VEG and was diagnosed by them as needed urgent surgery. The doctor at VEG had highly recommended Livewell because their prices were much more reasonable for surgery than VEG. I got there a little before opening, but the staff already had the doors open and they were all outside. They were not officially open, but they were kind enough to take us in anyway. I REALLY appreciated that because my daughter and I were extremely concerned for Mocha. VEG had sent x-rays and their notes to them already and looking at what they had, they agreed surgery was likely needed, BUT the wise doctor wanted to check her out there with their equipment just to make sure it was absolutely necessary before they cut her open. Well, the obstruction that was there had miraculously disappeared! They gave us some care instructions and the next day they were kind enough to follow up with a phone call to check on her. I'm glad they did because I did have some additional concerns which the doctor quickly addressed. The price I was charged for this urgent care was extremely reasonable. I can't say enough good things about these good people. Today, Mocha is back to her silly old self and it's partly due to the care she received from Livewell. Thank you!!
