Over more than 10 years of visits, from routine vaccines and checkups to emergencies, they were consistently there for both of us. They always worked us in when we needed them, provided the best possible care, and at a reasonable price. I truly cannot speak highly enough of every member of their staff and veterinary team. They are some of the most personable, kind, compassionate, and knowledgeable professionals I've ever encountered. In more than a decade, I genuinely had zero bad experiences with them. They consistently went above and beyond for Kain and for me. I'm writing this review for Kain. A few months ago, what started as a normal morning turned into one of the hardest days of my life. Kain was 11 1/2 and had been experiencing a gradual decline in his health. When it became clear that we had reached the end, the staff at Perrinville made the worst day as gentle as it possibly could have been. I could feel that they genuinely cared about him. They gave me compassionate but honest and knowledgeable guidance about his condition, answered my questions, and gave me all the time and space I needed. There was never any sense of being rushed. On one of the hardest days I have ever experienced, I felt that Kain and I were in the best possible hands. I wouldn't have wanted to be anywhere else. Kain was indescribably important to me, he was my companion, my family, and truly one of the most important souls in my life. I will always be grateful to Perrinville for the way they cared for him throughout his life. I genuinely cannot recommend Perrinville Animal Hospital highly enough. I'm writing this review out of gratitude for the people who cared so well for the soul who meant the world to me.

We like the doctors here, although in the past year we noticed they had a few turned over. Doctor Throm and Rehberger are always nice and you can feel they genuinely care about their patients, and they are pretty good at listening to owners concerns and give suggestions. The things that frustrated us the most are the follow ups, or getting the test results back in a timely manner. One time we called two days in a row to get a test result and was told very different stories from different two front test clerks, but luckily things worked out at the end. I guess owners just need to be a little proactive and make sure they don't forget about your case.

Since the original recommendation, my dog has not had to have one tooth removed. He has not even needed to have a dental cleaning. This past Halloween my husband and I got an adorable puppy named Kota. After 2 days, we took him to his first visit with Dr. Chris and he informed us Kota had a terrible underbite that was causing his jaw to lock and resulted in ulcers in his lower gum area. It was so upsetting and after consulting with a dental specialist, Dr. Chris was able to fit us in for Kota's first procedure for a fraction of the price. I'm quite neurotic when it comes to Kota and Dr. Chris and Jill have always made sure to email me back and call me to address any of my concerns. They've always provided such a safe space for Kota and it made me feel very reassured knowing he was in such good hands. Kota had quite a rough few months and without Dr. Chris and his team, I don't know how I would have coped. They made sure Kota received exceptional care and always looked out for his best interests. When we found out we had to relocate to D.C., I was devastated to leave them behind! Not only do they provide quality care, they also make sure that it doesn't cost you an arm and a leg. There are not enough words to express my gratitude for Dr. Chris, Jill and Leah. Kota and I sorely miss them, but are thankful that they set him up for success (i.e. resolved his underbite issue, provided anti-flea and heartworm meds, and administered every vaccine that would protect Kota in his new East Coast environment). If you're looking for a vet with a team that truly cares about your animal, Fifth Avenue is the place for you.

The first on the list, Shoreline Veterinary Hospital. We called and despite being incredibly busy, at 9pm the Veterinarian called me back! She walked me through a plan, and asked me to arrive at 9:15 the next morning. She gave me an estimate to sign for the same very reasonable price as she stated on the phone. We dropped her off. The team was amazing, from the first moment we called, and all this while they were already working 200%! Every conversation was kind, respectful, and detailed. The Veterinaian called and updated me, and provided a pickup time. We arrived, paid her very reasonable bill which was less than the estimate, and the Veterinarian came in and explained everything. They booked us a followup, and provided care instructions. Long story short, this is Fantastic Veterinarian and a fantastic staff. Everything was perfect! We highly recommend this team to pet owners in the Northwest!

During hospitalization, we were told Internal Medicine would be consulted, but I never received clear confirmation of whether that occurred or what recommendations were made. During a subsequent hospitalization elsewhere, we learned about an additional treatment option that an AMCS veterinarian reportedly indicated could have been considered earlier, but it had not been discussed with us. I recognize that emergency veterinary care is complex. However, I expected better communication, transparency, and continuity of care from a specialty hospital. I aslo shared more detailed feedback directly with AMCS management in the hope that these concerns will help improve their practices for future clients.
