We are so thankful to Dr. Frye and staff. During Covid, our cat "Cleo" became ill. Our vet (Diamond Vet) for years could not figure out what was wrong with Cleo, after several days in their hospital, they released her with no improvements. It was difficult finding a vet during Covid. With one call the EDMONDS VETERINARY HOSPITAL, they got us in the same day, referred us to a speciality clinic once they saw Cleo. Cleo had feline Covid and had to be put down. It was a loss, but we were so grateful to EDMONDS VETERINARY CLINIC for getting us to the right place so tough decisions could be made. EDMONDS VETERINARY CLINIC was compassionate, caring and affordable. We take our pets no-where else.

Followed Dr. Johnson here from Brier. Love his bedside manner. He works on Thursdays as of 8/20/20.

Poor girl had a long and stressful day.

Too many snide remarks from staff and the owner to bother with this place even though it is very conveniently located.

I've been a customer of Perrinville Animal Hospital for over a decade. I was lucky enough to find…read morethem shortly after moving to Seattle with my one year old GSD, Kain. Over more than 10 years of visits, from routine vaccines and checkups to emergencies, they were consistently there for both of us. They always worked us in when we needed them, provided the best possible care, and at a reasonable price. I truly cannot speak highly enough of every member of their staff and veterinary team. They are some of the most personable, kind, compassionate, and knowledgeable professionals I've ever encountered. In more than a decade, I genuinely had zero bad experiences with them. They consistently went above and beyond for Kain and for me. I'm writing this review for Kain. A few months ago, what started as a normal morning turned into one of the hardest days of my life. Kain was 11 1/2 and had been experiencing a gradual decline in his health. When it became clear that we had reached the end, the staff at Perrinville made the worst day as gentle as it possibly could have been. I could feel that they genuinely cared about him. They gave me compassionate but honest and knowledgeable guidance about his condition, answered my questions, and gave me all the time and space I needed. There was never any sense of being rushed. On one of the hardest days I have ever experienced, I felt that Kain and I were in the best possible hands. I wouldn't have wanted to be anywhere else. Kain was indescribably important to me, he was my companion, my family, and truly one of the most important souls in my life. I will always be grateful to Perrinville for the way they cared for him throughout his life. I genuinely cannot recommend Perrinville Animal Hospital highly enough. I'm writing this review out of gratitude for the people who cared so well for the soul who meant the world to me.

We like the doctors here, although in the past year we noticed they had a few turned over. Doctor Throm and Rehberger are always nice and you can feel they genuinely care about their patients, and they are pretty good at listening to owners concerns and give suggestions. The things that frustrated us the most are the follow ups, or getting the test results back in a timely manner. One time we called two days in a row to get a test result and was told very different stories from different two front test clerks, but luckily things worked out at the end. I guess owners just need to be a little proactive and make sure they don't forget about your case.

UPDATE- Your response is completely false. I did not treat any member of your staff in a rude,…read moreracist, abusive, political, or otherwise inappropriate manner. I never made any political statement, racial comment, insult, or personal attack. Nor would I ever. I did absolutely nothing that could justify the accusations you have now publicly made about me. Your response appears to be an attempt to discredit me and put me on the defensive, rather than address the misconduct, or the harm, which is consistent with your previous unethical mistreatment of us. I came to your clinic as a new client seeking only routine care for my dog: preventatives and a fecal exam. From the moment Dr. Mohamed entered the room, she was abrupt, hostile, and repeatedly stated that she "did not understand" why I was there, despite my calmly explaining multiple times exactly what I needed. Then, without warning, without first trying to make my dog comfortable, and without any introduction to my dog whatsoever, Dr. Mohamed forcefully inserted the otoscope into my dog's ear hard enough that my dog yelped loudly in pain. I had never heard my dog cry out like that before. We had been to other vets before who checked her ears using this tool, without any issue. I witnessed how unfriendly and roughly she treated my very sweet submissive dog. What shocked me most was that Dr. Mohamed did not react at all. She did not stop, apologize, acknowledge my dog's pain, or show any concern whatsoever. Again, as my previous review which you replied to stated- to this day my pup will no longer let a vet touch her ears. Dr. Mohamed's handling of my dog fell far below an acceptable standard of care, and directly caused lasting trauma. Your response to hearing this report is once again shockingly unconcerned, and dismissive. No vet should ever roughly handle and harm a dog because they are for whatever reason bothered by the human. That behavior is entirely unethical and unacceptable. Again, as stated previously to which you responded- we have no idea what prompted this behavior on her part and that is really the most baffling component here. Because we are friendly, reasonable and professional people. I work in customer service. I was excited to meet what I thought would be our new vet! I was polite and respectful from the jump. NOTHING in my behavior was even remotely close to what you describe, even AFTER she harmed my baby. I did not yell or get aggressive. I simply asked immediately to end the interaction and speak to the manager. My only possible guess was that my shirt had an American Flag on it, and this was some kind of politically motivated retaliation. I cannot confirm this, but have no other explanation for what was seemingly a very personal attack from a total stranger. Again, I immediately told Dr. Mohamed in a calm manner that I was ending the appointment and requested to speak with the clinic manager. At that point, Dr. Mohamed abruptly changed her tone, apologized, and asked if I wanted to continue with the appointment after all. I declined and again requested to speak with a manager. Dr. Mohamed then left the room. I remained there for more than twenty minutes waiting to speak with someone. No one came. No one checked on me. No one asked what had happened. After waiting, I finally went to the front desk myself, at which point I was told to leave without ever being given the opportunity to explain my side of the situation. I was left in tears. The only person who showed any kindness or professionalism was a member of your front desk staff, who came to me in the parking lot w/ tissues and apologized. Her practiced manner in this strongly suggested that this type of incident is not unusual there. You have now publicly accused me of being "abrasive, rude, racist, and abusive." Those statements are false. I unequivocally deny them. I will not allow false accusations to be used to deflect from what occurred. I will not accept being falsely maligned in order to protect your staff from criticism. I stand fully by my account of what occurred. I did absolutely ZERO to deserve the way Dr Mohamed treated me or my dog. In fact, there exists no possible justification for the rough way she was handled, nor the lasting pain Dr Mohamed's misconduct caused. Both of these are points which you have, yet again, completely neglected to address. I further object to your implication that, because I posted this review years later, my experience is somehow less valid. It took me years to feel removed enough to seek any justice here. As clinic manager it's your duty to ensure correct conduct by staff. You never even gave me an audience, and conducted no investigation. You neglected your duties, and as a result have not obtained the truth. I am formally demanding that you retract the false statements you made about my conduct within 14 days. If you do not, be aware that I am preserving your response and all related communications for further action.

This past Halloween my husband and I got an adorable puppy named Kota. After 2 days, we took him to his first visit with Dr. Chris and he informed us Kota had a terrible underbite that was causing his jaw to lock and resulted in ulcers in his lower gum area. It was so upsetting and after consulting with a dental specialist, Dr. Chris was able to fit us in for Kota's first procedure for a fraction of the price. I'm quite neurotic when it comes to Kota and Dr. Chris and Jill have always made sure to email me back and call me to address any of my concerns. They've always provided such a safe space for Kota and it made me feel very reassured knowing he was in such good hands. Kota had quite a rough few months and without Dr. Chris and his team, I don't know how I would have coped. They made sure Kota received exceptional care and always looked out for his best interests. When we found out we had to relocate to D.C., I was devastated to leave them behind! Not only do they provide quality care, they also make sure that it doesn't cost you an arm and a leg. There are not enough words to express my gratitude for Dr. Chris, Jill and Leah. Kota and I sorely miss them, but are thankful that they set him up for success (i.e. resolved his underbite issue, provided anti-flea and heartworm meds, and administered every vaccine that would protect Kota in his new East Coast environment). Their billing practices are aggressive and egregious. For example, when an animal is hospitalized, you are not only billed for the medication itself, but they also charge an exorbitant dispensing fee, upwards of $50 or more each individual time a single pill is administered. These routine administrative markups accumulate rapidly and feel designed to take advantage of hospitalized pets whose owners have no choice but to rely on inpatient care. They also frequently over-bill and you need to go through each bill with a fine-tooth comb to ensure it is correct. It is quite obvious that there are internal leadership mandates to maximize billing. We went through the heartbreaking process of trying to treat my cat's lymphoma. In the end, despite spending over $20,000, the treatments were unsuccessful and we lost our cat. The financial strain made an already devastating ordeal so much more painful. In addition there were frequent unprofessional incidents with staff or doctors that required escalation. Escalation lead to zero results whatsoever. If your pet needs emergency or specialty care, consider alternatives like Timberline or independent, local practices that are not controlled by foreign conglomerates or private equity firms focused purely on profit margins.
