Work hard Lay hard!!!
Adam T.

I was EXTREMELY IMPRESSED with BARC witch is the perfect acronym for one of the best animal hospitals I've ever seen! They were nothing but professional from my first contact all the way through this last visit. I arrived late (so sorry) and they still let my lil baby OLIVE be seen. I went to the wrong place somehow and while driving to BARC all the thoughts went through my head if I had to reschedule. You see Olive is a little 9.5 pound Yorkie Cavalier. She is ABSOLUTELY the most precious, calm, loving, playful, and so so so cute. I would give up anything in my life for this dog. She's very smart and shows it by telling me when she's hungry, when she's gotta go potty, or whatever else she needs. She pretty much barks a couple times to grab my attention. Since she rarely barks I know what's up. Then once I look at her she walks to whatever she needs. I can't tell you how convenient that is! Anyway, Olive is 100% irreplaceable. I've spent her entire life giving her the best life a dog can have because she deserves it. She loves me so much and it's really obvious. A lot of people say they can tell by the way she looks at me. So now you can kinda understand how freaked out I've been since finding this MAMMORY TUMOR or whatever it's officially called? I'm a grown man who can't remember the last time I've cried. Well I can now, I've sat with my baby w tears telling her how strong I need her to be during all this and she knows I don't wanna know a life without her. So you can see this is an extremely important thing in my life and means EVERYTHING to me. So to be late and still be seen is huge. I couldn't live w myself if we missed the appt and time took over. These folks are in such his demand it took me nearly a month to get her in for the first appt. They asked if I wanted to be on a waitlist in the 3rd spot? I think u know that answer. I was really happy when they called me a little over a week later and said "We can see Olive on the 17th!!!". That appt made it 20 days earlier!! That too was really awesome!! The first appt was in the parking lot! In my Escalade! They kindly brought out a tablet and the Dr. was OUTSTANDING at explaining everything so I could understand. She was so detailed I felt a lot better about the whole thing but still a wreck. I told her book whatever is 100% best for my baby Olive. I don't care what it costs there's no other option. We set the date for this coming April 4th 2022. I was really hoping for something sooner but I took it. Shortly after the really awesome assistant called back and said. We have an opening on the 30th of March!!! Almost a full week sooner!! You know that answer too!! So now we wait. I've been giving her lots of walks and the best food she can eat. Not that I haven't always but we do walk a bit longer. Please pray with me that all goes well. I will update this review as time passes. I hope so so so so so much she gets thru this with no issues and she's back to herself in no time.

Every staff member that we dealt with here was amazing, from the front desk to the nurses to the techs and doctors. We took our boxer here for treatments and they were all so kind and compassionate to him and our whole family. They checked on us frequently, responded to my stressful phone calls and were very knowledgeable. Thank you all so much! We could not have asked for better care!

Coco after conpleting radiation treatment at WSU

This review is long overdue. My dog, Coco, was diagnosed with cancer around 2018 at age 7 and we have worked with her regular vet as well as doctors at both Blue Pearl and BARC. In the last two years, we have been with BARC exclusively for Coco's oncology needs. It has not been an easy journey as Coco means the world to me, but working with BARC has given me confidence that she is in good, caring hands. Both Dr. Tripp and Dr. Smith have been amazingly knowledgeable, responsive, thorough, and kind. Coco has gone through surgery, electric chemotherapy, and radiation for her cancer and I am happy to see her thrive today. We still go to BARC regularly for her checkups and immune boosters, and Coco gets excited every time to see the doctors & staff :)

Memorial stone they sent us.

Our sweet dog had cancer, and we brought her here for the last few months for treatment. The staff is wonderful and so loving. When our dog passed, they sent a beautiful memorial stone and a card. I highly recommend BARC if you have to treat your dog for any kind of cancer.

There are no words for the level of care this place provides during the toughest times in a pet owner's life. They are knowledgeable, caring, attentive, and wonderful. They have the all of the newest and most advanced treatments, they walk you through every part of the process, they explain costs and options. Absolutely wonderful experience from every single person who works here. They gave me precious more time with my boy, and I will never forget what they did for us.

UPDATE- Your response is completely false. I did not treat any member of your staff in a rude,…read moreracist, abusive, political, or otherwise inappropriate manner. I never made any political statement, racial comment, insult, or personal attack. Nor would I ever. I did absolutely nothing that could justify the accusations you have now publicly made about me. Your response appears to be an attempt to discredit me and put me on the defensive, rather than address the misconduct, or the harm, which is consistent with your previous unethical mistreatment of us. I came to your clinic as a new client seeking only routine care for my dog: preventatives and a fecal exam. From the moment Dr. Mohamed entered the room, she was abrupt, hostile, and repeatedly stated that she "did not understand" why I was there, despite my calmly explaining multiple times exactly what I needed. Then, without warning, without first trying to make my dog comfortable, and without any introduction to my dog whatsoever, Dr. Mohamed forcefully inserted the otoscope into my dog's ear hard enough that my dog yelped loudly in pain. I had never heard my dog cry out like that before. We had been to other vets before who checked her ears using this tool, without any issue. I witnessed how unfriendly and roughly she treated my very sweet submissive dog. What shocked me most was that Dr. Mohamed did not react at all. She did not stop, apologize, acknowledge my dog's pain, or show any concern whatsoever. Again, as my previous review which you replied to stated- to this day my pup will no longer let a vet touch her ears. Dr. Mohamed's handling of my dog fell far below an acceptable standard of care, and directly caused lasting trauma. Your response to hearing this report is once again shockingly unconcerned, and dismissive. No vet should ever roughly handle and harm a dog because they are for whatever reason bothered by the human. That behavior is entirely unethical and unacceptable. Again, as stated previously to which you responded- we have no idea what prompted this behavior on her part and that is really the most baffling component here. Because we are friendly, reasonable and professional people. I work in customer service. I was excited to meet what I thought would be our new vet! I was polite and respectful from the jump. NOTHING in my behavior was even remotely close to what you describe, even AFTER she harmed my baby. I did not yell or get aggressive. I simply asked immediately to end the interaction and speak to the manager. My only possible guess was that my shirt had an American Flag on it, and this was some kind of politically motivated retaliation. I cannot confirm this, but have no other explanation for what was seemingly a very personal attack from a total stranger. Again, I immediately told Dr. Mohamed in a calm manner that I was ending the appointment and requested to speak with the clinic manager. At that point, Dr. Mohamed abruptly changed her tone, apologized, and asked if I wanted to continue with the appointment after all. I declined and again requested to speak with a manager. Dr. Mohamed then left the room. I remained there for more than twenty minutes waiting to speak with someone. No one came. No one checked on me. No one asked what had happened. After waiting, I finally went to the front desk myself, at which point I was told to leave without ever being given the opportunity to explain my side of the situation. I was left in tears. The only person who showed any kindness or professionalism was a member of your front desk staff, who came to me in the parking lot w/ tissues and apologized. Her practiced manner in this strongly suggested that this type of incident is not unusual there. You have now publicly accused me of being "abrasive, rude, racist, and abusive." Those statements are false. I unequivocally deny them. I will not allow false accusations to be used to deflect from what occurred. I will not accept being falsely maligned in order to protect your staff from criticism. I stand fully by my account of what occurred. I did absolutely ZERO to deserve the way Dr Mohamed treated me or my dog. In fact, there exists no possible justification for the rough way she was handled, nor the lasting pain Dr Mohamed's misconduct caused. Both of these are points which you have, yet again, completely neglected to address. I further object to your implication that, because I posted this review years later, my experience is somehow less valid. It took me years to feel removed enough to seek any justice here. As clinic manager it's your duty to ensure correct conduct by staff. You never even gave me an audience, and conducted no investigation. You neglected your duties, and as a result have not obtained the truth. I am formally demanding that you retract the false statements you made about my conduct within 14 days. If you do not, be aware that I am preserving your response and all related communications for further action.
