We saw reviews of A Trio, and couldn't be happier with designing and purchasing our wedding bands from here. Amy and Noah are so personable and knowledgeable and we're so patient and helpful as we made decisions. I'd also like to credit that Noah spent an equal amount of time with my husband deciding what ring he'd like. Oftentimes the bride gets a lot of the attention, so this was very special and memorable for my husband. We were so impressed by them, we also worked with them to create a custom ring for my mom and purchased a necklace for my husband's mom. As long as we're living in the Milwaukee area, A Trio is where we'll be purchasing jewelry!

Her husband Noah works there and I believe her dad does too. I first had Amy change my engagement ring into a pink sapphire (life changes) and she was really great about kindly suggesting what would work well but happy to take my decision (I went with her recommendation and loved it). Just now I dropped off my beloved late grandmother's engagement ring that I inherited because it lost a tiny stone. They were super sweet about advising what would match, and they said I don't need all the prongs redone now but they will be happy to check it any time (twice a year) and let me know when. I found their prices to be impressively reasonable. My mom was a little worried thinking such a nice independent place would be pricy, but it's totally reasonable. I don't see myself ever using another jeweler.

Not only did she find a diamond that would fit in the setting, she found the most fabulous diamond. The ring is absolutely gorgeous. I got a chance to meet Karin when we went back to Kloiber to look at wedding bands. I saw why he chose to purchase the ring there. She was so friendly, genuinely loves what she does, and likes making people happy (you can tell). I found my band right away - it was her first recommendation as to what would go with my engagement ring. My husband, on the other hand, had a few rings ordered to be sent to the store to try before he bought. He didn't love either, so Karin recommended a ring that was almost a combination of the 2. He had to buy it before seeing it though as it was custom made. Needless to say, he made the right decision. His ring is great too. He also purchased a fab necklace for me for the actual wedding day from Kloiber which I love! Over the last few months, I have been into Kloiber (the new location is in the US Bank building - go up the main escalator to the Galleria level and you will practically run into it) several times - ring sizing, ring cleaning, ring pick up, necklace shortening, etc. I'm sure it would be fine if you just stopped in (ring the bell), but I would suggest making an appointment - they are very good by email as well. Everyone I encountered has been absolutely fantastic to work with. Excellent customer service. I honestly couldn't recommend a place more than Kloiber. They are fantastic.

He was funny, knowledgeable and made us feel comfortable. Instead of trying to talk us into the most expensive ring, he convinced me to use the diamond from my great grandma's ring. He offered great suggestions about the setting for the security of the diamond that we wouldn't have considered, and the custom ring turned out even better than imagined. We would highly recommend working with Rohr for your custom engagement ring!

The soder point where the shank was cut for resizing the ring broke apart twice in a matter of weeks, the 2nd time it happened was less than 48 hours after I picked it up. While picking up my ring for the 3rd time I noticed my solitare morganite now has an enormous gouge across its face as well as a gouge on the band itself. The clerk who gave it to me insists it's normal wear and tear I just couldn't see before he cleaned it. It's my belief that I absolutely would have noticed such significant damage to my brand new engagement ring before leaving it with Rohr. Buyer be ware they do NOT document any existing damage when repairing outside jewelry, so sadly there is no paper trail to prove either way if the damage was pre-existing. I've only had my ring for 3 months and my fiancé and I now have to save for a whole new engagement ring.

They have their jewelry production right in the back and offer to change a length/clasp/gemstone. I found an amazing vintage watch fob converted into a bracelet, but I didn't care for the chain. The gals offered me a few different vintage chain options and edited the piece on the spot! She was patient when it didn't fit and kindly added an extra link to the newly edited piece. That extra mile is what makes any business stand out from the rest, and I very much appreciated it! There were 4 different gals working and each of them were a part of my store experience. I love that vibe - a nice cross between slumber party vibe, girly pop vibe and artsy vibe. Most of their pieces are sterling silver or brass, but they have a handful of pieces in 14k and gold fill. I got a mixture of both! Their sweet spot price point is "affordable" while some pieces are definitely spendy. I've got my eye on a vintage wedding band for $3k.
