Ticking once again!

I haven't worn a watch in years as all I have to do is glance at my phone for a time check. But today has me performing at SummerFest in Milwaukee, where I'll need to know what time to stop without looking at my phone! Long story short, Powers Jewelry replaced the dead battery in my watch in under 10 minutes and at a very reasonable price. Plus, they were super friendly. Highly recommended!

If you want to feel pressured into buying something that is not worth the price and have a sales person who cares more about the dollar of the sale than the customer, this is NOT the place for you. My fiance went to Powers when he picked out my engagement ring. We had gone to another store and looked together to get an idea of styles I liked. I was not with him when he picked out my ring and he did an AMAZING job. The ring is stunning and better than anything I saw at other stores. I found out after the fact that my soon to be father-in-law goes to Powers when buying jewelry for his wife. My fiance and I came back when we were starting to look for wedding bands for us. We worked with the same lady who helped my fiance pick out my engagement ring and she is fantastic (Lori - 90% sure that is her name). She took the time to listen to what we were thinking and showed us options that matched what we wanted and listened to the details we said we liked and didn't like and then helped guide us to other rings we'd like based on our feedback. She cared more about us being happy than what we were looking at or the price tag on it. My fiance found a ring there that he loved and we were able to order it in his size. I had two bands where I liked parts of one and parts of the other but felt torn and not in love with either one. She told me they could make a custom band (well 2 since I want one on either side of the engagement ring) that combined the aspects I liked of the two bands I was looking at. She even said they could match the style and size of the diamonds to the one in my engagement ring too. I was sold! I placed the order and went back a few weeks later to look at the mold and then confirmed it was how I wanted it and a few weeks after that I had my two custom made bands and they were 100% how I envisioned it. The only thing more shocking was the cost. Each custom band was about $1,500 which is way less than I was expecting them to be. My fiance has come back here 2 times since then. Once when he bought me beautiful Sapphire stud earing for my birthday and again when he bought diamond earrings for me for Christmas. We will definitely always come here whenever we are in the market to buy jewlery for an occassion. I also attached a picture (not the best) of the engagement ring and one of it with the two bands when they came in.

A great local jewelry store in the downtown area. This is the family's go-to-jewelry shop for special gifts, that are not overpriced. A store that won't make you feel like it's not in your price range. They have something for everybody. Jordan assisted me & my family and she was great. She made my experience enjoyable (and less stressful!) It will become your family's jewelry store, too!

Lots of help, no wait.

I couldn't find a place that would repair my watch band, it's one of those disappearing services as few people wear watches anymore. I didn't think a high end jeweler would either, but I was in the neighborhood passing by so I dropped in. I came in wearing a cheap suit, the watch is only a Seiko, and yet the fellow who greeted me acted like I was the most important customer of the day, quickly repaired the band for no charge, and then showed me a couple of mid range necklaces I spontaneously became interested in for a future gift. The way I was treated makes it pretty certain I will be back, next time to spend some serious money.

I was in the market for an engagement ring and I visited jewelers across multiple cities. I was lucky to find Power Jewelers on a business trip to Milwaukee. Gregg was helpful with every single step in the process. From explaining the differences between diamonds, explaining different bands, to insuring/appraising the ring. Everything was very clear and transparent through the whole process. After looking at multiple stones, he was able to find the perfect size, cut, and clarity I was looking to purchase. My fiancee is in love with the engagement ring and could not be happier. I could not recommend Powers Jewelry Designers more for finding an engagement ring.

So absolutely thrilled with the service and creativity that I received from Lorry Powers. Her dad is the funny one but she is the one carrying the torch for great design and service in Milwaukee. Couldn't be more thrilled! Started our relationship with a celebration purchase that my husband made... then many small repairs. Culminated this week with our 25th anniversary ring set, using a vintage single stone and a band design incorporating diamonds from several sentimental rings. Love it!

Loved working with Powers! Thanks to Lorry for helping us.

Absolutely love Powers. We didn't feel pushed or pressured at all to hurry up and pick a ring. I went in once with my fiance to give him an idea of what I was looking for but he went back 4+ times to pick the center diamond and he didn't feel like any of the employees were annoyed or antsy for him to pick it out. They would send back diamonds and bring in new ones until he felt like he found "the one." They are very reasonable, willing to work with you and give you exactly the ring of your dreams. Highly recommend. (We were recommended by another couple and I am so glad we checked them out!) We worked with Lorry Powers and absolutely loved her!

Excellent customer service and quality of work!

Excellent customer service and quality of work! I just got engaged last week however I needed my ring resized. I took it on Thursday and Lori (I think that's her name!) was so helpful in figuring out what size to size it down to. I have big knuckles and small fingers. She said it would be done in a week. That evening my fiancé called and said his parents wanted to take us out to celebrate on Monday. I wanted to be able to have my ring for the dinner if possible so I called and asked if the was anyway to expedite the process, knowing that it might not be possible... well it's Monday and they got the job done for me. I am extremely happy with Power's and will definitely be a long term customer. Thank you!!!

We saw reviews of A Trio, and couldn't be happier with designing and purchasing our wedding bands from here. Amy and Noah are so personable and knowledgeable and we're so patient and helpful as we made decisions. I'd also like to credit that Noah spent an equal amount of time with my husband deciding what ring he'd like. Oftentimes the bride gets a lot of the attention, so this was very special and memorable for my husband. We were so impressed by them, we also worked with them to create a custom ring for my mom and purchased a necklace for my husband's mom. As long as we're living in the Milwaukee area, A Trio is where we'll be purchasing jewelry!

Her husband Noah works there and I believe her dad does too. I first had Amy change my engagement ring into a pink sapphire (life changes) and she was really great about kindly suggesting what would work well but happy to take my decision (I went with her recommendation and loved it). Just now I dropped off my beloved late grandmother's engagement ring that I inherited because it lost a tiny stone. They were super sweet about advising what would match, and they said I don't need all the prongs redone now but they will be happy to check it any time (twice a year) and let me know when. I found their prices to be impressively reasonable. My mom was a little worried thinking such a nice independent place would be pricy, but it's totally reasonable. I don't see myself ever using another jeweler.

Not only did she find a diamond that would fit in the setting, she found the most fabulous diamond. The ring is absolutely gorgeous. I got a chance to meet Karin when we went back to Kloiber to look at wedding bands. I saw why he chose to purchase the ring there. She was so friendly, genuinely loves what she does, and likes making people happy (you can tell). I found my band right away - it was her first recommendation as to what would go with my engagement ring. My husband, on the other hand, had a few rings ordered to be sent to the store to try before he bought. He didn't love either, so Karin recommended a ring that was almost a combination of the 2. He had to buy it before seeing it though as it was custom made. Needless to say, he made the right decision. His ring is great too. He also purchased a fab necklace for me for the actual wedding day from Kloiber which I love! Over the last few months, I have been into Kloiber (the new location is in the US Bank building - go up the main escalator to the Galleria level and you will practically run into it) several times - ring sizing, ring cleaning, ring pick up, necklace shortening, etc. I'm sure it would be fine if you just stopped in (ring the bell), but I would suggest making an appointment - they are very good by email as well. Everyone I encountered has been absolutely fantastic to work with. Excellent customer service. I honestly couldn't recommend a place more than Kloiber. They are fantastic.

The soder point where the shank was cut for resizing the ring broke apart twice in a matter of weeks, the 2nd time it happened was less than 48 hours after I picked it up. The clerk who gave it to me insists it's normal wear and tear I just couldn't see before he cleaned it. It's my belief that I absolutely would have noticed such significant damage to my brand new engagement ring before leaving it with Rohr. Buyer be ware they do NOT document any existing damage when repairing outside jewelry, so sadly there is no paper trail to prove either way if the damage was pre-existing. I've only had my ring for 3 months and my fiancé and I now have to save for a whole new engagement ring.
