I've been a Kessler's customer for 30 years now. When my fiance and I first went to choose a setting I had no idea what I would like. Grandma Carol (now happily retired) walked me through a variety of styles taking note each time of what I liked and didn't until she presented me with a set that combined all the elements that had made my face light up. With my part done my fiance went back and looked through the loose diamonds until he found the perfect center stone. They serviced my ring repeatedly over the years. Sizing it up while I was pregnant and back down after my babies were born. They repaired a shank that cracked because I wore my ring to the gym while lifting weights and repaired a prong that I snagged and bent. For our 20th anniversary we had a custom enhancement made that made me fall in love with my ring all over again. I have other pieces from Kessler's as well: earrings, several chains and my favorite cross necklace. I hadn't needed anything in several years, but am now looking for another piece of bling. I showed up at the Brookfield store and was greeted by Ari who was able to read my mind and guide me to the perfect ring for me. She ordered one brought over from another store and has done some incredible logistical coordination setting a loose diamond into a Kessler's setting. There are a few extra costs when the center stone isn't purchased from them (cost to set the stone and an appraisal fee), but that seems logical to me. They are and will continue to be my jeweler!! Kesslers was absolutely phenomenal for my fiancé and I when we went engagement ring shopping. Ari was a WONDERFUL consultant that was patient and so kind and could tell when my face lit up while looking at a ring. Since getting engaged I have been in every time and if Ari is working she goes out of her way to say hi, ask about our wedding, and go above and beyond to make us feel like family at Kesslers. The warranty is EVERYTHING! Many, many moons ago my fiancé and I chose Kessler's to purchase my engagement ring. We had a much older Kessler's diamond ring to trade in, to help offset the price of my new ring. We thought they would offer us a small price concession on the newer purchase. Nope. Instead, because the older ring was a Kessler, they gave us full market value for the stone. (The settling was a wash.) This miracle was made possible by the Kessler lifetime warranty. I was amazed. Fast forward through the years to last week when I decided to have my ring sized up (after several years where my finger was too fat for the band). Mind you: I've only made one other small purchase from Kessler's in all the intervening years. I expected to pay a nominal fee for the sizing. Nope. They resized my finger, took the ring, handed me a claim ticket and said the repair would be complete within a week. I asked about cost. They explained it's all covered under the lifetime warranty. And so today (a day early, by the way) I have my diamond back and it is just as beautiful as I remembered. You can't see the repair at all. It is seamless. I am beyond thrilled. My husband and I went into Kessler's the Brookfield location on our anniversary.(01/15/22) We went in to get my ring sized. My husband surprised me by saying either we were getting it sized or upgraded. An associate greeted us and sent us to the service counter. We then waited 10 minutes to be helped. We told them what our plans were and then waited again for another 10 minutes for an associate to help us with an upgrade. Clearly we interrupted the sales associate's personal conversation and they seemed annoyed that they had to help us when we told them we were talking about an upgrade. My ring came from Kessler's and we have never had service like this before. The associate then seemed irritated and got my husband's information. She came back to explain that my ring valued at almost $6000.00 would only have a trade in of $750.00. We were completely confused and didn't understand. We have upgraded my ring once before and that was lower than we got for the trade in last time which made no sense. The associate offered no explanation and her entire demeanor was very rude and offsetting. We decided to just have my ring sized and we would figure this out with someone else later. The associate at the counter, we believe her name was Stefanie was very nice and handled my sizing. My husband then called the Brookfield location to talk with a manager to try and understand the problem with the upgrade. The first time he called, whomever answered said the manager was helping someone else and she would call us back. The person then hung up on husband without even taking his phone number. My husband then sent a message through the website asking for a manager to call him. The manager eventually called back around 5:55. My husband missed the call he was at work. The manger left a message saying the phones would be shut off at 6:00 pm. He did try calling back before 6:00 and there was no answer and the manager has not attempted to call again. We have figured out that the associate that clearly did not want to help us or make a sale is the manager of the Brookfield location. From the website her name is Stacy Cheney. This has been horrible customer service and we expected better. We have never been treated so rude and unprofessional. We are now awaiting my sizing to be complete and hope we can go in and get it without another negative interaction. Kessler's has lost us as costumers. Little do they realize my husband was so excited about upgrading my ring on our anniversary that he was ready spend to spend a good amount. We will now look for another jeweler that actually values their customers. My wife (of 32 years) and I walked in to Kesslers on Bluemound Rd yesterday at 3 PM. We were the only customers in the place... I had to convince her to come in to "possibly" upgrade her high grade .62 carat wedding ring as an upcoming birthday/Christmas present. She was very sentimental about her ring and I was hoping for a knowledgeable salesperson to persuade her. We were met in the lobby by a "guy" who summarily explained that they did not take "trade ins" unless we bought it from them? We kind of awkwardly looked at him waiting for some options, but he just let us turn around and walk out. Today, my wife has a nice $10,000 upgrade from a local dealer out here in the Lake Country. Very disappointed that we were never acknowledged the entire time we were in the store. From the moment we walked in, there were 3 ladies standing at the counter staring at us but never even said hello. We were there long enough to walk the entire store. It wasn't until we were already out one set of doors that a man literally came running over to us to ask how he could help. ( to his credit that man was actually helping 2 older women while we walked the store). I told him it was too late, we already felt judged and not important. I bought an engagement ring for my now wife and it took them three times to get the diamond setting right. I purchased the wedding band that was "made to fit" the engagement ring. We have now gone back three more times to get that adjusted. Our wedding photos have a messed up ring in them and now after the last time sending the rings in, they came back all messed up. Them diamond setting isn't even straight and the wedding band is no longer a circle. We are ready to just start over fresh somewhere else... I advise no one to go to any Kesslers to get a ring. Their smiths are the worst. They don't do what you ask even when they say they can and will, and the do terrible work. My wife's ring looks like it got ran over by a train and that's how it came back from the Jeweler. What a Joke. She also hates that in the past year, she hasn't been able to wear her ring most of the time because its been in getting "fixed" Hopefully they can correct our problem. read more

Kesslers is excellent. My husband purchased my engagement ring here and I've honestly never seen such beautiful diamonds! When picking out our wedding bands, it was a no-brainer - we headed back to Kesslers and loved Mitzi's help! Later, my sister's now fiance came to me for help picking out her ring - back to Kesslers! She has a ring very similar to mine, and the compliments she receives are off the charts! I just recently took my rings in to be fused and I can't wait to see them (it's an awesome, free service if you buy your rings there). After our nightmare at Rogers and Hollands we decided to come here in search of a legitimate company who could offer quality jewelry and a quick turn around on repairs. Our salesperson was friendly and knowledgeable and was all ears when we were explaining our hesitations to her, given our recent unfortunate experience with another retailer. I have had the absolute worst luck with my Kessler's engagement ring. The band has cracked and been replaced twice, the head replaced twice, diamond was "re-enhanced" not to mention it was dipped in white gold about 15 times (to rid the band of scratches, once every 6 months). This all happened in less than 6 years of owning the ring! I'm frustrated because I'm honestly at the point where none of my ring is actually "my ring". I have spoken with multiple managers and they always refer back to their "free lifetime repair policy". While this is all fine and good, it doesn't put MY RING back on my finger. I actually had one manager today tell me she would recommend that their goldsmiths put my diamond in a "loaner setting" (yes, apparently this is a thing) while they order and replace the entire ring again! What a joke! I looked that manager square in the face and told her, "You're going to lose money on me. I'm going to be in here getting repairs and replacements until the day I die!" While none of the associates were rude on my visit today, none were particularly helpful either. My recommendation would be to buy somewhere else. Just because they say they grade their diamonds correctly, doesn't mean they do. They will say that diamond grading is objective, however, in speaking to multiple jewelers (while looking for an upgrade) it is aparantly well-known that Kessler's bleaches their diamonds so they appear whiter and brighter - all so they can charge you more. If you have other options, please... explore alternate jewelers. You will be much happier. I know I wish I would have looked around more! read more

I told my sister that my girlfriend (now wife) and I were interested in beginning our search for an engagement ring. She highly recommended Kesslers to us. My wife is not the type to make impulse purchases (sometimes it takes a firm hand from me to convince her to make the necessary purchase!) but it certainly felt that way when we went into Kesslers and came out knowing that we found the perfect ring for her in about 20 minutes. The employee that worked with us at Kesslers was very knowledgeable, friendly, and wasn't pushing us to purchase anything. I came back to Kesslers to make the purchase to find that same employee remembered my name and exactly what I was looking for. Obviously, engagement rings are very expensive, but I left Kesslers that day feeling very confident that we made the correct purchase, and I am very grateful to them. read more

SHADY... When we concluded our shopping, we committed to a ring and were presented with a printed invoice which included tax and were given a projected pick-up date. Upon pick up, I was presented a completely different invoice which included some charges which were NOT disclosed on the original invoice, nor during the shopping experience. The new invoice was about 8% higher than the original - which was a rather significant amount - considering the cost of the item we purchased. I asked with whom I should address this communication concern, and left. I addressed this concern via email and phone mail with both "Richard" and the "Team Leader" and it is 2 weeks later and I have not heard a word back. I could never get away with adding a previously undisclosed fee at the back end of a deal in my business. I don't see why Kesslers can! read more

The staff is very friendly and always helps us find what we're looking for without any obvious pushy sales strategies. I think they have a good selection at a good price. Terrible. Stay away! The diamonds are low quality and most are treated/bleached, even if the papers don't say that they are! We were sold a very low quality diamond at a high price. The staff is nice initially, but once you buy, they are no longer kind. It is good that they continue to fix their rings because my diamond came loose, band cracked, diamond cracked and they had to fix it all for free. It is by far the worst quality "fine jewelry" I have ever seen, and I have a few nice pieces! read more

I used to live in Wisconsin and purchased my husband's wedding ring at Kesslers 12 years ago. We now live in Georgia. Not long ago a crack developed where the ring had been sized so on a recent trip to Wisconsin we took it in for repair. Not only did they repair the crack, they brought to our attention and then did some slight repair to the diamond settings as well. The ring was not going to be ready until after our trip was complete so they shipped it to us for free. When they say they guarantee the jewelry you buy for life, they really mean it! Kesslers is great! My fiance and I looked at engagement rings here. The staff was warm, friendly, knowledgeable. It was a blast looking at all the different rings and stones. They had a wide variety, wider than that of the mall jewelry stores. They promise that they will replace your diamond if it falls out of your ring. There is even a little free gift when you come back after getting engaged! We came back to buy our custom order wedding bands, which arrived faster than we anticipated. I had gone to another jewelry store to see about getting a ring that I had inherited from my Grandma resized. This store however had to send the ring out for sizing, which I didn't really want to do, and so they recommended trying Kesslers. The staff at Kesslers wasn't exactly unfriendly, but i got the feeling they were a little annoyed after they found out all I wanted was a sizing done. While one woman was having me test my ring size, another picked the ring up glanced at it and said it was silver plaited in gold and there was nothing they could do for me. I didn't know much about the ring, but thankfully had gone to the other jewelry store first where they bothered to look at it under the magnifier and confirmed it was real gold. Rather than argue with her I simply left and went down the street to Jareds where they had it sized and back to me in less than 2 hours. read more

In my opinion, you should not use this jeweler and they should not be trusted with your business. Their diamonds are much higher priced than the competition. I trusted this company with the creation of my fiancé's engagement ring. We went to Kesslers as they appeared to be a reputable establishment with high ratings on all the major wedding sites. One of their associates was able to help us pick out a diamond and we decided on a custom ring design. We received the first CAD design of our custom ring and it was not like we had described and it took many more iterations before we finally got the design we wanted. They said there would be no limit to the number of customizations we could make to the design for free but then after 4 or 5 they said they would start to charge us. Management had to step in to resolve this issue and we were not charged. We ignored warning signs like the sales associate failing to measure my fiancés finger for her ring size at our initial meeting. Finally, the ring was made, delivered and payment was made. We find out months later, while shopping for our wedding bands no less, the diamond that we thought we had was not actually what was in the ring and I had not received the proper paperwork from Kesslers. When I came back to the store, there were no notes in my file about the diamond we had selected and we hadn't received all the paperwork we were supposed to on sale of the ring. They declined giving me a refund due to being past the full refund time period despite not providing all the necessary paperwork upon payment claiming computer error. I was so embarrassed that I traded in my stone for a different diamond and worked to resolve this issue outside of Kesslers. I would hate to have the same thing happen to someone else that has happened to me. According to other jewelers outside of their service area, this company's standards are not up to par. What are you really buying when you purchase a ring at Kesslers? Are you buying the diamond, the name or the fabulous trade up warranty? I thought this place was great until my experience today at the Brookfield location. Some time ago an engagement ring was purchased for me, however, the wedding never happened. The mission today was to trade in the ring and use the value to upgrade a diamond pendant necklace. After all, what am I going to do with this ring now? The salesperson started with the fact that I was only going to get the value of the center stone because the rest of the ring was worthless. Beside the center stone, there is a small diamond on both sides and then a baguette diamond on both sides. And then maybe I could get $20 dollars for the scrap metal band. How do you think I was feeling at this point? So, according to the original receipt the ring cost $2499. With that said, if the rest of the ring was worthless, how much should the center stone be worth? For the 1/2 carat diamond, she was only going to give me $985. Is this for real I thought? The mark up on this ring was over 1500 dollars and she looked at me and said that is the best I can do. Are you kidding me? This has be a joke. She had no problem giving me the full value of the 1/2 carat diamond pendant that I was trading in, but for some reason could not be reasonable on the center diamond of this ring. The last thing I want is to keep this ring. I mean if she was smart she would have given me a fair price and then resold the ring as is, maybe for more money. But no, no consideration for what I had been through or for my feelings. She advised me to sell it on my own. For real? What good is the trade up warranty if I cannot get a fair value for my trade? For those looking for a ring, make sure you understand the value of your center diamond so that when it is time for an upgrade you are not cheated out of what you deserve. Will not recommend in the future. read more
