Found the fuel level float popped off, so the gas gauge was not accurate and the car had simply run out of gas. Attached the float back to the fuel pump and added gas. Took 15 minutes. Scammed out of $200 because they clearly did not inspect the car, specifically the faulty part they said needed fully replaced.

At 110K miles I've had one every 5K miles.I've paid an average of $40-$60 over its lifetime but.. never $140. There was no quote online or in person I was ever given, I was in no way expecting $140. I told them this at the counter, and they said they quoted other shops around and they're all there. Ok.. uh no. Regardless I'll never be back. No communication, drop off 8am, vehicle was ready at 4:30(not a problem necessarily, but an opportunity for sure).
