So you can imagine how all of these things made me skeptical at first. The massage was weak, and you sit in the same uncomfortable position on the sofas, without the massage chairs offeredat most salons. Then again, my massage was only an extra dollar as part of the opening special, so I couldn't really complain but it should have been part of the service, anyway. I was also given the option of an eyebrow thread or nail art which hopefully would have been a better pick. There were few girls working on a weeknight, so I'm not sure if they would have had time for the threading. But the actual mani and pedi (gel on hands only) looked pretty good to me, so $72 later (with a ten dollar tip) I was satisfied and left with a smile on my face. I appreciated the service, the stamp card and the friendliness of the ladies, so in spite of the familiar blips that came with Pure, the positives outweighed the negatives and I will likely return.
