He became upset because the warranty company would not work with his preferred people on another engine, and then said he was going to increase his rate because of it. I strongly suggest taking your vehicle to a shop that treats customers fairly and communicates honestly.

Wyatt, from BLUE COLLAR AUTO & FAB in Prineville, was friendly and helpful right from the start, assisting us over the phone in finding a towing service. He also agreed to repair our motorhome immediately. Other repair shops in Prineville wouldn't touch this type of vehicle and turned us away. Wyatt carried out the repair to our complete satisfaction. He discovered that not only was the ignition switch faulty, but a ground wire connected to a defective relay had also been severed. He professionally replaced all the necessary parts. A few days later, our motorhome broke down again. This time, the cause was completely different: the fuel pump inside the gas tank had failed. We had ourselves towed once more--naturally to BLUE COLLAR AUTO & FAB, as we knew we could count on their expertise. Working with his brother Dusty, Wyatt partially drained the fuel tank, lowered it using jacks, and replaced the faulty fuel pump with a new one--an authentic Winnebago part, no less. They did all of this outdoors in 95°F heat. We highly recommend BLUE COLLAR AUTO & FAB; they are the best mechanics we have ever encountered. After all, we have been traveling in various motorhomes across Europe, North America, South America, and Australia since 1984 and have dealt with many mechanics along the way. No explanation, no justification, just "mileage indicates" on the repair estimate list. No one explained what the proposed procedures actually do. Yes, I googled them, only to find online mechanics claiming that the procedures are used as ways of padding the bill. I'm not saying that was the case for me, but it gave me pause. Trust is hard to grant any mechanic, so I moved on. I just didn't feel like this place passed my gut instinct of trust test. For the record, there are "teams" of mechanics here. I don't know what other teams are doing, and they really are separate entities (for purposes of trust ) under one company name. I was referred to one team and ended up with another. Had I known, I would have insisted on the name of the mechanic I was given. So, if you get a referral for a mechanic you heard good things about, don't let them put you in with another mechanic's team. That may have been my mistake.
