Whether buying a new car here, or bringing my car for a bit of maintenance, I continue to be…read moreimpressed with the quality of service and positive/friendly service I receive. I'm one of those customers that doesn't buy a new car very often. I drive them until the maintenance becomes too expensive/frequent that I buy a new car as a better financial decision. So, it would be easy for them to not be welcoming. But I never have been treated poorly in the seven years I've been coming here. My car usually keeps humming along (my previous one lasted ten years) but every once in awhile, something happens and being that I am mechanically challenged, I take it in. Sometimes, the warning light isn't a big deal, so they suggest trying a few things first before bringing it in. But when what seemed like a small problem (amber light) suddenly turns to a bunch of red lights on my dash and warnings on my car's computer screen, I make sure to take the car in and have it looked at. Normally, when I take it in, I get a courtesy call that lets me know what the maintenance guys have found and get an estimate. But this time, I didn't. The man on the phone knew he hadn't called when he called me to let me know the car was done. Before I could panic that it would be some huge bill, he let me know that even after five years, the part was under my warranty plan and there wasn't any service charge, let alone any charge for parts. Free!! And while they were at it, they fixed a few other minor items that were free due to a recall. Free is nice! Free is stress reducing. And the folks at the counter seemed appreciative that I was so happy and soon on my way. Thanks to the folks there who do a great job and work hard to make their customers happy. Review #2859

Extremely disappointed. After an oil change and multipoint inspection (which was quickly done), the…read moreonly issue mentioned was my tire tread getting low. However, they neglected to find these obvious issues. Keep in mind I was told before service and after that they top off what needs to be topped off. 1. Radiator coolant was at the minimum before service. The radiator coolant remained at the minimum after service. They topped it off after I pointed it out, but I shouldn't have to. 2. Antifreeze was at the minimum going in and is still at the minimum. I will be topping it off before going to another dealership to have it flushed out and replaced. 3. They mentioned they checked the engine air filter and it was fine. Upon inspection at home, the dust on the air filter cover was undisturbed showing they had not touched it. Upon inspecting the air filter, it was painfully clear that it was not checked and was desperately needing replaced. A picture is provided. 4. They mentioned the cabin air filter was also checked and was fine. After removing the filter, it was clearly evident that it wasn't checked as it was disgusting. A picture is provided. I don't know if it's because they lost their master mechanic (what they told me) so it's inexperience, or if it was laziness, or a scam, but they have lost all my trust and I will never go there again. I will be going elsewhere for another inspection to see what else was missed.

They went back and forth with me on why I shouldn't those brand new parts on my car. I had already paid them before I noticed it. When I say forget it and gets my car, The gears are not shifting. They said that I had a small crack in my transmission pan which was not true. It was cracked while it was up there. I didn't have any transmission leaks when I brought it. When I got it, gears were barely shifting to I took it to AAMCO transmission for them to put the new pan on. Luckily I didn't need a new transmission. But I did have to by a new transmission pan and new fluid. Also when I picked up my car, my brake were going all the way down to the floor. They told me that I had to drive it some and it would start working regular which was false. They removed all of the brake fluid out of my car and when they put more fluid back in, they failed to bleed the brakes. So no I have to pay more money for AAMCO to bleed my brakes. If you have another option for your car, take it to the other option. They don't care about the work that they do. They just want to get you in, get the money, and get you out. This is my first and last time with LIKE BROTHERS.

We called Tyler and asked if they could help with a manual transmission car because we'd have to have it towed there. They said yes. Then after we had it towed, they said they didn't know how to work on it. We tried to drive it across the street to Glendale Automotive, but Tyler had killed the battery. So I had to push it back the 10 yards to get it into a parking spot at Tyler and wait for another tow truck. No one from Tyler came out to ask if we were ok or offer help as I pushed. We did get it over to Glendale Automotive with a tow, and Glendale fixed it right up, no problem. If Tyler had just been honest, we could have towed it to Glendale from the jump and saved ourselves a lot of time, money, and literal physical pain from pushing the car.

I looked up other tire stores on Yelp, found Stewart Tire & Auto Service Centers and called to see if they could get me in. And I told him I could not do that and I have to give up my truck, The owner personally bought me a new engine with 40,000 miles less, and put it in my truck for free, I would I have to pay them a penny. And they said if I wanted to put parts on it why they had the motor out, that they would just charge me for the parts and no labor. Just the job of buying that motor and putting it in was easily $7000. But the owner was willing to do that for me. I did not have any reason to. I've never even met the guy. P.s. thank you to the service manager who is willing to sit down with me and keep me posted daily. Who did not have to do any of the things that he did, thank you for going the extra mile, when you have no reason to, I was out of warranty and I was technically not your problem, so thank you very much, you are amazing!
