Bought a 2014 Ram 1500, truck looked good even thought it had a check engine light. The salesman showed me a printout of what the shop said it needed, had a bad coil, and needed a tune-up. So price looked good, maybe a little too good and i bought it. I replaced the coil and plugs and the check engine remained on. Took it to a shop and i get told that oh by the way it needs an engine. Cam and lifter failure with metal in the oil. So i got hosed, 12k engine job i can't afford to do and a truck I can't really drive and making payments on. While my salesperson was good, the people above him left much to be desired. They were supposed to find me a vehicle somewhere else. But they didn't seem to care whether I bought a car or not. No phone calls. No updates. And when I tried to get my deposit back, he was never in or was doing something else and couldn't come to the phone. So, I came in to ask for the money back, he said he would work on it "tomorrow" because it had to be done at another office. And of course, the money wasn't refunded until I kept calling and finally got someone above him to help me. I will never do business with a Hubler again. read more

Was called after getting a "true market value" appraisal for my vehicle saying that they were very interested. Once I got there, they offered me -$10k under what my car is going for on the private market. Was a complete waste of time. I have a 2014 Ford F150 with a 3.5 L TwinTurbo. I bought my truck with 122,000 miles on it. They gave me a 6000 mile warranty or six month. I got you 129,000 miles, in my head gaskets went out. And the warranty company was not willing to help. Even though I was only 196 miles out of warranty. And it was gonna cost $4200 for them to do the head gaskets. At that's them with not replacing a cylinder head. Each cylinder head was $2000 from ford. And I have a baby on the way in four months. And I told him I could not do that and I have to give up my truck, The owner personally bought me a new engine with 40,000 miles less, and put it in my truck for free, I would I have to pay them a penny. And they said if I wanted to put parts on it why they had the motor out, that they would just charge me for the parts and no labor. Just the job of buying that motor and putting it in was easily $7000. But the owner was willing to do that for me. I did not have any reason to. I've never even met the guy. Because of him I'm going to be able to keep my truck, I have something safe for my baby to be in while I'm driving around. So I recommend anyone who is looking for a vehicle, to just stop by and talk to someone, they are willing to work with you, A lot of a lot of people don't understand is if you just have respect for people, they're willing to help you. Because the service manager understood how hard it was to have to buy a truck and not even me 200 miles out of warranty and my motor blow up. Because I just graduated college and I have a baby on the way and I could not afford that on my own. So thank you very much to the owner of Greg Chevrolet in camby Indiana. We stopped in to trade my truck in for a bigger SUV for my wife. We found a used suv and since my truck was worth so much we broke even on the cost of the SUV and my equity in the truck. Should be an easy deal to complete, right? Sadly that wasn't the case, the salesman was nice but was obviously clueless on the operation of the dealership. Kept wanting to run a credit report but I kept telling him we don't need credit. The sales manager came out to give me his offer on my truck. He was rude and acted like I was wasting his time by being there, I nearly stood up to leave just by the way he was talking to me (I probably should have). Set up an appointment for the next day to finalize the deal. Figured wouldn't take long at all. We were there almost FOUR HOURS waiting on them to make time for us and complete a simple deal. Then to find out after nearly three months of waiting for title work they didn't have the proper title work done, had no clue how to fix it, had to call Muncie to figure it out. I had planned on buying a brand new truck after the first of the year but you can guarantee I WILL NOT be going here! Not a single thing went right with this deal and took MONTHS to complete and get my title work. Highly unorganized, could care less about customer service, treat you like you work for them, and have no idea how to properly close an auto deal. I would keep driving towards Indy if you're looking for a new vehicle! read more

Had engine problems right around closing time, on a very snowy night. These guys stayed open a half hour longer after closing and even had a back up truck ready in case we needed to drive it home and leave our car. They fixed us up in a jiffy and were incredibly kind and friendly (especially Dylan Stillman.) So nice to see such compassion! read more

This place is a nightmare. First of all when we bought our van from there it took forever and they were completely unorganized. Then the van with low miles blew a head gasket after 10000 miles. They first said it was air in the lines and a month later it was the head. The owner and service department were rude to us and acted offended that we were upset about being sold junk and they were unwilling to make it right by us. They knew we need the van and would pay to fix it so we were stuck with a huge repair bill. The best was when we went to pick it up it wouldn't start and had 2 flat tires. Stay away from this dealership. They are snakes and horrible people to deal with. read more

I grew up in an automobile dealer family, and I sold cars for four years. My father taught me that the worst thing you could do to a customer who took the time to come to your dealership was to ignore him. My wife and I walked around the Hubler lot ignored for over twenty minutes Saturday 27 March 2021. They were very busy, but in that time somebody might have welcomed us and offered to get to us later. I wanted to see a Corvette, especially the red mist colored one that I suspect was already sold. There was another Corvette in the showroom, but its doors were locked, so I could not even sit in it. Why lock up a showroom car? The top was off, so if someone wants to steal knobs, or whatever, they could easily have done so. I never liked tire-kickers in my car sales career--I'm not a tire-kicker! I'd done my research , and I knew that the red Corvette was there, so I came with a purpose. I understand that nobody wants to work now that the government pays them not to, and good help is hard to get, so this more of a lament than a condemnation of Hubler. They seem to have a pretty good reputation with their customers, and I hope the Corvette's new owner enjoys the experience. I think I would have, as well. read more

We used a loaner vehicle while we were having the service done on our 2014 Chevrolet Captiva. Our appointment was at 9:30. They said it would take a couple of hours. They called at 11:30 to tell us it was ready. When we returned to pick it up they realized it had not been washed or swept out. We waited and it was 1:20 before we were notified that it was ready. The wash and interior swept out was totally unsatisfactory. The cargo area was not touched and then I washed the windows and mirrors again after returning home. Very disappointed. read more

You know, no body or place is perfect. I am in the retail and service business as well and it is difficult to please EVERYONE. Obviously the ones to write a review are the ones who have a complaint and want to make it known. There are also two sides to every story in which we only hear one. I'm sure there is a lot more to Janielle's story than what we're hearing. As far as Melody, yes it sounds like the job wasn't done satisfactorily or completely, but, today it happens w/ the workforce that is out there. A lot of them don't do the job right or care and sometimes there is mis-communication.. It is extremely difficult as an employer today to find and keep good quality help. My experiences up there have been satisfactory, every place is going to mess up from time to time, but that doesn't make them terrible. read more

STAY AWAY! This is the absolute worst car dealership I have ever dealt with in my life. They will do anything to get you to buy a car from them. Which in itself wasn't a bad experience. But beware once you do service is non existent. What service there is, is stupidly priced. Even for a dealership. Even wanted to charge me for a recall issue that was covered by GM. I've never written a bad review in my life, but do yourself a favor and stay away. The good news is I've talked to plenty of people with similar experiences, from terrible service to rude salesmen. Had to wait for 5 hours sitting there in the guest lobby on a Saturday when I had gotten there at 10 in the morning and they had only 1 person ahead of me so that Tim in Finance could work on my order. Also, when new people came in he worked on them even before me and I had been there already for several hours. Was unfriendly when I was just going to buy out my leased vehicle but when they convinced me to lease a new car again, boy did they turn their attitude around. Poor service.
