We had been told by a couple people that my son's car needed a new starter - Will easily identified a battery terminal issue after a quick diagnostic. Within a couple minutes, Will knew what the issue was, and we were able to go down to the auto parts store and purchase everything we needed for under $20. He was able to get the car running in less than an hour and went above and beyond to make modifications to one part I bought (battery bracket) because the store didn't have the exact type we needed. Will's work was pristine. I cannot say enough about how great of an experience this was. He is also very kind and pleasant! Additionally, I would like to note that he performed all repairs that were requested, he arrived within 25 minutes of my call, on a Sunday, in the snow, and had everything done within an hour (part of this hour was him waiting on my trip to the auto parts store!). This will be the only person I call for any mechanic needs. I've shared his contact info with my family and recommend him to everyone! I've dealt with several mobile mechanics in the Indy area and can say Will is obviously and by far the most knowledgeable, honest, and gets straight to the resolution of the issue. Thank you so much, I feel better knowing my son's car is working -- and that he can call you if he runs into any other problems. :)

Absolutely loved working with Daniel and the whole team here--they're all extremely professional, personable, and know their stuff. I'm no car expert (otherwise I wouldn't be here, right?) and they were always patient and helpful in explaining the issues without being condescending. The free shuttle service is great for longer repairs -- and one of the reasons I was drawn here in the first place. Or you can sit and wait for something quick like an oil change. What might be my favorite thing is that most communication can be done via text or online forms. While I love to talk to people, my day is usually full of conference calls and it's much faster to just send a quick text or check a box to approve repairs, rather than wait an hour or two for the call to end just to call them and give them the go ahead. I wasn't expecting that at all, but it's so much more convenient than having to play phone tag. And of course the quality of the work is fantastic -- without going into a ton of detail of our exact repairs, they were able to fix two ongoing problems with speed and ease, while the shop that found the problem in the first place still hasn't even called me back. Very impressed and plan to come back here for any future issues. I mean this in the best way that I really hope I don't have to come here very often outside of oil changes and tire rotations, but I know I'll be taken care of when I do.

AVOID CHRISTIAN BROTHERS AUTOMOTIVE…read more My experience with Christian Brothers Automotive has been extremely frustrating, and I would think twice before trusting them with your vehicle. I took my vehicle to them **THREE SEPARATE TIMES for the same A/C problem**. The A/C was blowing hot air, and the only reason I continued returning was because I was told the repairs were covered under warranty. Instead of resolving the problem, I repeatedly found myself dealing with additional charges and explanations about why certain repairs supposedly weren't covered. They would cover one part of the repair and then tell me that something else was "not part of the original repair." After the second visit, I drove less than 20 miles before the check-engine light came on. I took the vehicle to AutoZone and had their free diagnostic test performed. I was told the problem indicated a fault involving the A/C sensor. When I brought this back to Christian Brothers, I was told the sensor wasn't covered because they hadn't replaced that sensor during the previous repair. So after already bringing my vehicle to them multiple times for the same A/C problem, I ended up having to pay another $150 deductible through my CarMax warranty. At some point, you have to ask: Why wasn't this properly diagnosed and repaired in the first place? Their phone hold message talks about being nice and taking care of customers. That's great advertising, but being nice isn't the same thing as actually taking care of the customer. Taking care of the customer means diagnosing the problem correctly, fixing it properly, and not sending someone back out the door only to have the same problem--or another related problem--show up almost immediately. After three visits, additional expenses, I have completely lost confidence in this shop. Honestly, "Unchristian Brothers" would be a more fitting name based on my experience. If you take your vehicle here, get a second opinion and make sure you understand exactly what they are--and are not--covering before you authorize anything.

Not feeling sure about what they'd tell me, I would wait till I could get into Bob's and he'd look it over and find out that I didn't need everything done to it like the other places claimed. Best part of this place is the mere fact that Mark knew the area well & in fact grew up there too. Sooo glad I accepted his advice too! Not only did Greene's do what they said they were gonna do, they did more IMO w/o the discrepancy in non essential things needing repairs. Big bonus to me. My vehicle had been making a loud funky sound when the wheel turned (front end). My vehicle had new brakes installed last summer around this timeframe. Turned out the brake rotor plate was too extended. This caused the excessive noise I & others heard. So grateful to my buddy Mark who did a solid for me in terms of directing me to Greene's.
