I am very grateful that I brought it to Sand Dollar Cleaners and met Mr. Steve Thompson, the Owner and Chief of Client Happiness, as they they have been in our community for many years, providing dry cleaning, laundry and helps support those who cannot afford a dry clean for their job interview coming up - a very kind and noble gesture that is really needed by the world right now, as the COVID-19 Pandemic, natural disasters, unemployment and political issues are all taking place worldwide. The positivity and willingness to help others really radiates from Steve and his staff at Sand Dollar Cleaners. Tip: There are health benefits with dry cleaning as well. As garments are dry cleaned, their solvents and drying cycles are effective when it comes to eliminating the germs according to Steve, especially as flu season is upon us, it is a good idea to get our garments professionally dry cleaned and hopefully our pets will not chew on them again since I may have had some pizza sauce stain there somewhere during a break at work x) Come try out Sand Dollar Cleaners guys :)

I went out with friends and wore one of my favorite dresses and got a stain from dinner. I also had a shirt that needed a seam repair and another in need of a button. I love that they have a drive-through! Charles, the owner, explained my items would be ready the following week by Wednesday due to the schedule of the seamstress. He also explained that due to Covid, both the shirts would have to be dry cleaned after the seamstress repairs were complete. Charles provided excellent customer service! Most of the time he remembers my name even though I only visit a few times a year. That's impressive! I paid the bill when I dropped off the items which cost a little more than $30. I felt this was reasonable. I was so happy to see he removed the stain from my favorite dress and it looked brand new. And I was pleased with both of my shirt repairs. I would absolutely recommend Cedar Cleaners for anyone looking for dry cleaning or seam stress repairs.

He informed me at that time that I had dropped things off on "ladies day "and therefore, a discount would be applied. Fair enough. But still, price transparency was an issue. When I returned with a very large load of things, he told me that he was busy at the time but that he would look through the bags later and touch base with me about the prices. Instead, he cleaned everything and then called me with an exorbitant amount afterwards. When my husband went to pick up the items, I realized that he didn't have the entire order. The owner didn't even call to tell me that he'd forgotten to give my husband things. And of course the receipt was not itemized so it's a good thing that I noticed. A jacket is still missing... My experience with this cleaners was very frustrating and disappointing. This is not the way to run a business. I won't be back and I definitely can't recommend this place.

I've been dog sitting so much this summer and recently a Yorkie peed on one of my rugs. Of course I used Resolve to clean the spot, but that wasn't going to cut it for me. I liked the location as he was on the end so there was plenty of parking. And he helped me carry the rugs to my car which was nice.
